Naruto: Wolf of the Hidden Leaf

Reiga POV:

The giant hammer made of Earth banged on Tatsumi's chest one more time as he vomited blood. His ribcage was broken for sure and most probably his lungs were also punctured.

Reiga stood above him with the hammer while keeping a totally straight face. Tatsumi felt like dying but somehow he kept himself alive through sheer will of his own. He could not die without knowing how he was defeated.

"How can you control so many weapons and all five elements at the same time?"

Reiga was looking towards where Rei was fighting and didn't have that much attention towards Tatsumi and his questions.

"I can't perform all five nature releases. I can use any weapon instantly the moment I get my hands on any weapon. And on every weapon that I have, I can use a specific ninjutsu once that I have prepared beforehand." As Reiga said, he showed Tatsumi the summoning marking hidden under his sleeve. It functioned in such a way that he didn't need to draw blood every time he summoned weapons.

"Basically, as long as I have any weapons left in my storage, I can use any elements I have prepared beforehand." Reiga said as the hammer went back to his storage.

Looking around he found both the wind element user and the blond woman's body. One of them was burnt with fiery nunchucks. The other was sliced with the lighting katana.

And Tatsumi here was crushed to death by the giant earth hammer he was using moments ago. He had died before Raiga could properly explain how Raiga's ability worked.

Whatever.

He leaned by the tree just beside the corpses and looked towards the battlefield. Daigo has returned to his original size. He currently did not have his consciousness and Sayuri was trying to carry his body towards the edge of the crater that Daigo has created.

Both of them were pretty banged up and injured in multiple places of their bodies. Daigo's injury seemed much more serious that Sayuri's seeing that he had totally lost consciousness.

He himself wasn't exactly feeling really well. Prolonged battles were extremely problematic for Raiga due to his relatively small chakra reserve. As a weapons specialist, he would rather face a single strong opponent than tens of them.

He knew his ceiling after all. Just as he started thinking about his limitations, a loud bang came from the other side of the clearing. Even from back here, he could clearly see a six year old kid and a large black wolf looking over someone.

Reiga has tried to keep tabs of the fights his students were fighting in while he was clashing with the three jonins. And he must say that he was impressed. More than just impressed, he was downright delighted to have such a competent team.

Sayuri and Daigo had really good teamwork and Rei can do everything by himself anyways.

With a grunt, he stood up and decided to go towards the cave that they were supposed to raid in the first place. Just as he got close to the entrance he was hit with the smell of rotting flesh.

Human bodies discarded without grace and care. Most of them had their belly slit open and their intestines gathered at the corner of the room. Men, women, children; there was no discrimination for their killing.

Reiga heard someons puking their guts out on the back and saw that Sayuri too had entered the cave. He quickly went towards her and helper her restabilize her body.

This should be the normal reaction of kids of her age seeing something like this. On the other hand, Rei had recovered from a sight like this within a second and launched an attack on the enemies.

There was something really weird about that kid. He is not only capable, but also way too mature for his age. Reiga just hoped that he doesn't snap and become a psycotic killer.

Speaking of psycotic killers, Rei entered the cave with Umbra. Both of them were wearing black masks that can help them decrease their smelling power.

And they really did need them. With how suffocating the air was inside the cave with the smell of blood, any Inuzuka clan member is going to have a really hard time entering here.

Umbra was carrying two more people on his back. One was a ninja with a Kumogakure headband and the other one was...

When he saw who it was, Reiga gave Sayuri a gentle smack on the back of her head.

"Ow. What was that for?"

Raiga was not usually angry. But this time he was mildly irritated.

"You left Daigo outside without supervision?"

Sayuri was confused to why Reiga was angry,

"So?"

"So. This is still enemy territory. You don't leave your injured teammate unattended in an enemy territory."

"But we've already defeated all of them."

Sayuri said with an expression that was as honest as they could come. She really did believe that there was no flaws in her logic.

Reiga sighed hearing that. God! She really does lack common sense.

"You don't know that these were all the enemeies. Just... next time don't do that."

He was not sure if Sayuri actually understood what he meant. But hearing her comfirmation, he decided to drop the matter.

He called Rei towards him. Rei's right hand was badly burnt. Seeing Reiga looking at his hand, Rei felt like explaiining,

"Lighting burn. I've already healed as much as I could. It'll be fine again within a day or two."

Reiga just nodded hearing that,

"How much chakra do you have left?"

"Enough. What do you need me to do?"

"Take those two and go back to the village. Call for two teams and bring them here. Show them this badge and tell them what had happened."

"Yes, sensei."

With a quick nod, Rei and Umbra went back. Sayuri was leaning against a wall and trying to rest.

Meanwhile, Reiga browsed through his weapon collections and decided that he had enough of then to explore the cave.

This mission was turning out to be more hassle than he had expected. It had already become an A rank mission but had potential to be higher.

The presence of such a gruesome cult just beside the border of the Land of Fire was not good. Also, village hidden in hot water had some real explaining to do.

'Agh, what a pain!'
