Naruto: Wood-Wood Fruit

Chapter 136: Chapter 136: Burning Touch

Time passed in the blink of an eye.

In just one week, days seemed to fly by.

In the training room at Kurenai house.

A composed figure sat cross-legged, deep in meditation.

A diamond-shaped mark originally on his forehead had now transformed into a faint golden vertical line, appearing clearly there.

In the mental space invisible to the naked eye.

A steady stream of energy continuously flowed into a mysterious small pool, which had unknowingly turned into a massive "reservoir."

But suddenly.

Behind the reservoir.

A small point of light appeared.

It grew brighter and brighter.

Expanding at an observable pace.

Doubling, tripling, quadrupling.

It soon outgrew the mysterious reservoir, transforming into a vast lake and then into an endless, unimaginable ocean.

The sight was breathtaking beyond words.

"Finally complete, huh?"

Kiyoshi opened his eyes.

He smiled.

Over the past few days.

Aside from guiding Kurenai and the others in their training.

He had poured most of his energy into studying the Yin Seal and the Strength of a Hundred Seal technique.

But hard work truly pays off.

He had innovated on the Yin Seal.

The amount of chakra it could store was far greater than the original technique.

But such a method was only suitable for someone like him with an enormous chakra reserve.

Because, essentially, the Yin Seal would constantly draw a portion of chakra daily from his body, injecting it into that endless abyss.

Even Tsunade wouldn't be suited for this.

She had long been storing her extra chakra in her Yin Seal, and it was already more than enough for her.

If she followed Kiyoshi's method, it would affect her regular state.

She could even end up draining herself so much to feed the Strength of a Hundred Seal that she wouldn't have enough strength left for her medical ninjutsu.

It would be absurd if she needed to activate the Strength of a Hundred Seal just to use simple jutsu or throw a powerful punch.

It simply wouldn't be worth it.

With a flash.

The faint golden vertical line faded and disappeared.

Kiyoshi stood up and left the training room.

"Kiyoshi."

In the living room.

Upon seeing Kiyoshi step out.

A beautiful figure beamed with excitement.

Surprisingly, there was a pair of shimmering blue chakra wings behind her.

Over the past few days, under Kiyoshi's persistent guidance through his Spirit Transformation Jutsu, Kurenai had finally begun to grasp the basics of the Peacock Art Jutsu, which Kiyoshi had meticulously reorganized and improved.

She could now form chakra wings and glide through the air using the Peacock Art.

For Kurenai, this was more than enough.

She had her own combat style.

Given her limited chakra reserves, she wasn't well-suited to forming large chakra beasts with the Peacock Art as her main combat technique.

At most, she could use it to defend herself or provide combat support when necessary.

"Kurenai-nee."

He gently wrapped his arms around Kurenai's slender waist.

Kiyoshi gave her a light kiss on her enticing lips.

Looking into her ruby-like, slightly misty eyes, he praised, "Nicely done, your chakra wings are looking more refined."

"It seems like Kurenai-nee has mastered the basics of the Peacock Art Technique. Now it's just about more practice."

"It's all thanks to you, Kiyoshi."

She retracted the Peacock Art Jutsu.

Leaning into Kiyoshi's embrace.

Kurenai's delicate face lit up with a soft smile.

The warmth and affection in his gaze filled her heart with joy and sweetness.

In this short week.

She felt as though she had undergone years, or even a lifetime, of transformation.

Her unbelievable leap in power was almost too much to believe.

And it was all because of Kiyoshi.

"You're now a true all-rounder Jonin."

Kiyoshi smiled as he said, "Compared to the elite Jonin, the only areas you're a bit short on are combat experience and, maybe, taijutsu."

Over the past days, with his consistent (and dedicated) help.

Kurenai had taken leave from all her missions under the Third Hokage, focusing solely on her training. Her progress had been nothing short of amazing.

Especially during training in the Forest of Death.

Kiyoshi had repeatedly demonstrated various Fire and Earth style jutsu using his Spirit Transformation Jutsu.

This had deepened her understanding of Fire and Earth release, and after days of practice, she now wielded them with ease.

Every day, Kiyoshi utilized his increasingly skilled Spirit Transformation Jutsu, along with his advanced medical jutsu, to help adjust her physique, thoroughly enhancing her body.

Even her chakra reserves had noticeably increased.

While the difference wasn't massive, it was still an impressive gain for Kurenai.

The improvement was one that would have taken her years, even decades of training to achieve on her own.

Of course, Kiyoshi hadn't neglected his other girlfriends."

Using his abundant chakra and the Spirit Transformation Jutsu with expert medical jutsu, he helped them all strengthen their physiques and broadened their chakra pathways.

This greatly enhanced their potential and set a solid foundation for the future.

Making their path forward a lot smoother.

He even sent out Wood Clones daily to guide them in training.

Even Hinata, who had tried to reach out to him through the little green paper crane on the third day, wasn't left out.

"Kurenai-nee." Watching Kurenai, who had grown more alluring and captivating under his guidance, Kiyoshi couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth.

He leaned closer.

And kissed her again, savoring her soft lips.

"Kiyoshi."

Kurenai's eyes shimmered.

No longer the shy, reserved woman from before.

She wrapped her arms around her man, boldly returning his affection.

Time passed, though neither knew how long.

Then, something suddenly occurred to Kurenai.

Blushing, she quickly grabbed his hand before it could wander any further, "Wait, Kiyoshi."

"Wait ... .are…you...you know….that time of the month?"

Kiyoshi froze, a bit speechless.

They had already been through so much together, crossing all kinds of boundaries.

"Not….not exactly."

Kurenai blushed, pointing towards the balcony, "Didn't you say yesterday that you'd help Anko remove the curse mark on her neck today?"

Not having focused on his sensory perception—and just too engrossed to notice—Kiyoshi finally realized that a familiar chakra signature was now present on the balcony.

He glanced over, "Anko?"

"In broad daylight, you two."

On the balcony.

Having just arrived with breakfast.

The ever-unconventional Anko stood there, completely stunned.

She could barely believe her eyes, clenching her fist in frustration, "Damn you, Kurenai, stealing him away. I'm so jealous."

"No way, I'm joining in too."

"...." Kurenai.

"...." Kiyoshi.
