Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

Chapter 587: Chapter 587: Naruto Appears!

Having failed to recover any memories through his methods, Reiki decided to wait for the injured to regain consciousness on their own. Perhaps their memories could be restored by other means.

Of course, Reiki knew that the chances of success were slim.

The following evening, one of the injured finally woke up.

Reiki carefully examined the individual again. Physically, they were slightly weak, and mentally, they seemed a bit drained, but there were no major issues.

However, when Reiki began questioning them, the result was exactly as he had expected.

The individual had no memory of being attacked.

In fact, their memory only went back to four days ago. Everything that had happened since then was a complete blank.

"It's okay. Just rest well," Reiki said reassuringly. "If you feel any discomfort, report it to the medical ninjas immediately. Here's a recovery potion—use it as directed."

Handing over the potion, Reiki gave some additional instructions before leaving the infirmary.

Once outside, Reiki leapt onto a large tree and activated his chakra scanning system. He began a wide-range search for any suspicious activity in the surrounding area.

But, as before, he found nothing.

"Attacks targeting the soul…" Reiki muttered to himself. "Whoever it is, this won't be the end. If they've struck once, they'll strike again."

Resigning himself to wait, Reiki closed his scanning panel and began refining chakra, preparing for the inevitable next move.

Meanwhile, outside Konoha, two figures emerged under the moonlight.

"How are we supposed to find him when he doesn't leave any trace of his aura?!" a young man with spiky yellow hair complained, looking frustrated.

"We'll find him eventually," his companion replied calmly, his black hair reflecting the silver light of the moon. "Besides, he's probably more desperate than we are right now."

"Don't forget what the teacher said—if we fail to find him and go back empty-handed, we'll get punished."

The thought of their teacher's punishment made even the black-haired young man grimace.

"That guy wouldn't dare to come to Konoha," the yellow-haired one continued. "We should head to the special training camp—or maybe to another village to look for him."

"Sasuke, you're oversimplifying things," the black-haired youth replied, shaking his head. "Our identities alone are a problem. How do you plan to explain ourselves to the teacher?"

The breeze rustled the leaves, revealing the two figures in the moonlight. The black-haired young man was Uchiha Sasuke, and his blond companion was Uzumaki Naruto.

"The teacher knows us!" Naruto exclaimed, his eyes lighting up with sudden realization. "He said before that no matter how strange things got, he'd know about it. Let's go directly to him!"

Just as Naruto finished speaking, Sasuke tensed.

"Someone's coming!"

With a sharp motion, Sasuke drew a long blade from his waist—a gift from their teacher, originally Lord Orochimaru's sword.

"It's a Sharingan!" Naruto exclaimed as he activated his own sensory abilities.

"It's an Uchiha! Let's get out of here!" Naruto grabbed Sasuke's arm instinctively, trying to pull him away.

Naruto's instinctive reaction stemmed from past encounters during training—he had often been beaten by the Uchiha clan, a group he regarded as relentless combat experts.

Ironically, Naruto seemed to forget that Sasuke himself was a member of the Uchiha.

Moments later, a group of ninjas surrounded the two.

"Wearing Konoha forehead protectors, but I've never seen either of you before," said a commanding voice. "Your auras are strong—you're no ordinary ninja. What's your purpose in sneaking into Konoha?"

Naruto and Sasuke turned toward the source of the voice.

"Dad?!" Sasuke blurted out, his eyes lighting up as he recognized the man before him: Uchiha Fugaku, his father.

Without thinking, Sasuke stepped forward, only to be stopped by Fugaku's raised kunai.

Fugaku stared at Sasuke with a mix of caution and confusion. Though there was an undeniable sense of familiarity, Fugaku knew better.

His son, Uchiha Itachi, was only three years old, and he had no other children. So how could this young man suddenly claim to be his son?

It had to be some kind of trick.

"Let's go, Sasuke," Naruto urged. "We're on a mission—we can't afford to get involved in this right now. Multiple Shadow Clone Technique!"

In an instant, thousands of Naruto clones appeared, flooding the area.

The sheer amount of chakra required to create so many clones startled Fugaku, who immediately issued an arrest order.

The battle was intense, but after half an hour, the two managed to escape.

Watching the last shadow clone dissipate, Fugaku frowned.

"That 'Dad'… What did he mean by that?" he muttered.

Shaking his head, Fugaku turned and left, deciding to report the incident to the Hokage.

The next morning, Minato Namikaze received the report.

As he read through the scroll, his expression grew heavy. Two young men had infiltrated the village, escaping even the skilled Uchiha forces.

One of them had the ability to create thousands of shadow clones—an extraordinary feat of chakra control.

Minato opened the accompanying portrait, studying the images of the two individuals.

His eyes twitched as he stared at the blond-haired youth.

"Why does this one look so familiar…?" Minato murmured, a sense of déjà vu washing over him.
