Naruto:AFK SYSTEM (COPY ABILITY )

Chapter 12: Chapter 12: The Eye of Destiny

1. The Weight of Power

Rin sat against a tree, breathing heavily. His stomach still ached from Kakashi's well-placed knee, but that pain was nothing compared to the storm inside his mind.

"I copied the Sharingan."

Not just any Sharingan—Kakashi's Sharingan.

His system had confirmed it:

[Kekkei Genkai Copied: Sharingan (Inactive)]

But there was a problem.

"Why isn't it activating?"

He closed his eyes, focusing inward, but… nothing. Unlike the Byakugan, which had activated instantly, the Sharingan remained locked.

"Does this mean I need to unlock it the same way an Uchiha does? Through emotional turmoil?"

He gritted his teeth.

"Tch. That's annoying."

But even if it was inactive, the fact that he had copied it proved something important.

"I can copy Kekkei Genkai permanently if they come from true bloodline users. But borrowed ones… they might not work the same."

Kakashi's Sharingan wasn't his by birth—it had been given to him by Obito. Maybe that was the reason Rin's new Sharingan wasn't active yet.

"I need more information. And I need to test this on a real Uchiha."

That meant… Sasuke.

2. A Dangerous Thought

Rin glanced at Naruto and Hinata. They were still engaged in combat with Kakashi. Naruto was charging in blindly, getting countered at every turn, while Hinata was fighting cautiously, trying to use her Byakugan to predict Kakashi's moves.

"I should focus on the test, but… my mind is somewhere else."

He needed more bloodlines.

Steel Release had already faded, proving that temporary Kekkei Genkai weren't enough. If he wanted to become truly powerful, he had to steal directly from bloodline clans.

The Uchiha.

The Senju.

The Kaguya.

The Yuki.

So many possibilities.

His eyes darkened.

"How far am I willing to go for power?"

3. A New Rivalry

The test ended with Naruto getting tied to a tree and Hinata managing to touch one of Kakashi's bells before being overpowered.

Kakashi sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "Well, you didn't win, but you didn't completely fail either."

Naruto grumbled. "We totally failed."

Hinata bowed. "T-thank you for the lesson, Kakashi-sensei."

Rin remained silent, still lost in thought.

That's when he felt someone watching him.

Sasuke Uchiha.

The black-haired boy stood at the edge of the training field, arms crossed, his onyx eyes locked onto Rin.

Rin smirked. "Interested in me, Uchiha?"

Sasuke's gaze narrowed. "What was that technique earlier? Your skin turned into metal."

Rin shrugged. "Just something I picked up."

Sasuke frowned. "I've never seen anyone do that in Konoha."

Rin felt a thrill of excitement.

"He's curious. That's good."

"Maybe I'll show you sometime," Rin said, turning away.

Sasuke scowled. "Tch."

Rin knew what was happening.

He had gained Sasuke's attention.

And soon… he would take something even more valuable.

4. The Plan

Later that evening, as Team 7 returned to Konoha, Rin formulated his next move.

"I need to copy Sasuke's Sharingan. But for that, I need direct contact."

That meant getting close to him.

Naruto was already close to Sasuke, constantly trying to outmatch him. But Rin? He had barely interacted with the Uchiha.

"If I want to copy his power, I need to make him acknowledge me as a rival."

A small smile played on Rin's lips.

"This is going to be fun."
