Chapter 15: Chapter 15: The Bloodline of Legends
1. A Dangerous Gamble
Rin stood outside his apartment, staring up at the moonlit sky. The red glow of his newly awakened Sharingan flickered in his eyes before he deactivated it.
"The Uchiha bloodline… it's mine now."
But this wasn't enough.
The Uzumaki clan was known for their monstrous life force and chakra reserves. Naruto, as a direct descendant, had an absurd amount of chakra—even without Kurama.
And even more than that…
Inside Naruto flowed the chakra of Asura Ōtsutsuki, passed down through generations.
"If I take that… I'll be one step closer to the power of the gods."
But this time, he couldn't afford to fail. The Sharingan had been locked when he copied it. If the same thing happened with Indra and Asura's chakra, he might lose his chance.
He needed to plan carefully.
2. The Right Opportunity
The next day, Team 7 was back at the training grounds for another sparring session.
Kakashi glanced at his students. "You've been improving, but combat experience is everything. Today's matches will push your limits."
His eye turned toward Rin. "Especially you."
Rin raised an eyebrow. "Me?"
"You've been holding back. I can tell," Kakashi said. "Time to change that."
He clapped his hands. "Alright—first match, Naruto vs. Rin."
Rin's eyes gleamed.
"Perfect."
3. The Clash Begins
Naruto grinned, cracking his knuckles. "Alright, Rin! Don't think I'll go easy on you!"
Rin smirked. "I wouldn't want you to."
Kakashi raised his hand. "Begin."
Naruto rushed in first.
Fast. But not fast enough.
Rin's Sharingan activated instantly, predicting Naruto's movements with ease. The moment Naruto threw his punch—
Rin sidestepped effortlessly.
"Too slow."
Naruto's eyes widened. "What—?!"
BAM!
Rin's fist crashed into Naruto's stomach, sending him skidding backward.
Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "His movements are sharper than before."
Naruto coughed but grinned. "Not bad… but let's see how you handle this!"
His hands flashed through seals—
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!"
Ten clones appeared, surrounding Rin from all sides.
But Rin just smiled.
"Now's my chance."
4. The Moment of Contact
The clones rushed him at once.
Rin dodged, weaved, and countered—his Sharingan letting him see every attack. But he wasn't just defending—
He was waiting.
Then—
One of the real Narutos got close.
Rin grabbed his wrist.
"Got you."
[New Bloodline Detected… Scanning...]
Rin's body shook.
[Uzumaki Bloodline Copied]
[Asura Ōtsutsuki Chakra Detected]
[Indra Ōtsutsuki Chakra Required for Balance]
"Indra's chakra… that means I need to take it from Sasuke later."
But before Rin could process what was happening—
A surge of chakra exploded inside him.
5. Power Overload
Rin's vision blurred.
His body burned from the inside out, as if his cells were being torn apart and rebuilt at the same time. His heartbeat roared in his ears, his muscles tensed, and an overwhelming force spread through his chakra network.
"This… is too much!"
His knees buckled.
Naruto, noticing something was wrong, frowned. "Rin? What's wrong?"
BOOM!
A pulse of raw chakra erupted from Rin's body, sending shockwaves through the training ground.
Kakashi's eye widened. "What the—?!"
The ground cracked beneath Rin's feet. His chakra was going out of control.
Naruto stumbled back. "What the hell is happening?!"
Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "That chakra… it feels like Naruto's, but different."
Kakashi moved instantly, appearing behind Rin and pressing two fingers against his neck.
"Enough. Sleep."
Rin's body went limp.
6. The Aftermath
When Rin woke up, he was in the hospital. The white ceiling greeted him, and he felt a strange warmth coursing through his body.
"I copied it. I have the Uzumaki bloodline and Asura's chakra now."
But something was wrong.
His chakra felt unstable. It surged in waves, sometimes overpowering, sometimes fading into nothing.
And worse…
"I can feel something else missing."
His fingers curled into a fist.
"Indra's chakra. I need Sasuke's bloodline next."
He exhaled sharply.
"Once I have it… I'll surpass them all."
