Chapter 12: Tea Party II

After finishing dinner, Seraphina turned to Bratram.

"Bratram, put them to bed."

"Okay, my lady," Bratram replied. He gently took William and Walter to their bedroom, laying them down together. Soon, they drifted off to sleep.

Meanwhile, Seraphina made her way to Charles' office. Standing at the door with her arms crossed, she eyed him critically.

"Are you going to work all night?" she asked.

Charles barely looked up from his desk. "Seems like it. I have a lot of work to do."

Seraphina sighed, walking in and sitting on a chair across from him. "I've been thinking about William… He's just like his mother."

Charles finally met her gaze. "Yes, he is. She was a very beautiful lady."

Seraphina clicked her tongue. "I told you to let her live here."

Charles shook his head. "She doesn't want to. Do you really think she doesn't want to be a princess of this kingdom? She agreed to live like a commoner."

Seraphina exhaled in frustration. "She's really stubborn."

Seraphina stood up, stretching slightly. "I'm going to sleep. You should rest too—today is the tea party."

Charles sighed and nodded. "Okay, I'm going." He stood up, and they both headed to their rooms for the night.

The Next Morning

As everyone prepared for the tea party, Seraphina noticed William and Walter dressed in fine suits. She smiled warmly.

"You two look very handsome."

Charles, now ready as well, adjusted his cuffs. "Well then, let's go."

They stepped into the carriage and rode to the tea party. Upon arrival, they entered the grand venue, where guests were already mingling.

Jonathan and Julian approached them with cheerful smiles.

"Hi!" they greeted.

Meanwhile, Edward and his wife walked over to Charles and Seraphina.

"Hey, Edward! It's been a while." Charles embraced him in a firm hug.

Seraphina greeted Edward's wife with a warm embrace. "Cassandra."

Cassandra smiled. "Seraphina, how are you?"

"I'm good," Seraphina replied, returning the smile.

Edward glanced toward the children. "Seems like our kids are getting close."

Seraphina nodded, watching them interact. "Yes, it seems like it."

As the party continued, Charles turned to Seraphina and Cassandra.

"You ladies should enjoy yourselves. We're heading to the meeting room."

Seraphina sighed, watching the men leave. "They never enjoy the party, do they?"

Cassandra chuckled. "You know this event is mainly for the kids and the ladies."

Upstairs, the men gathered in a private room to discuss business.

Meanwhile, Seraphina shook her head. "Do they really not enjoy the party at all?"

One of the men overheard and smirked. "You ladies will never understand the struggles of men," he said confidently.

Seraphina rolled her eyes. "Alright, alright, just go already."

The men made their way downstairs. Edward glanced at Charles. "Our friends should be in Room 17, but first, we need to stop by Room 19."

Charles gave a small smile. "Alright, let's go."

When they entered Room 19, its white-themed interior gave off an elegant atmosphere. The door barely clicked shut before Edward suddenly pushed Charles onto the bed, pressing a deep kiss against his lips.

Charles broke the kiss, breathless. "Hey… just put it in already."

Edward smirked. "If you love me, then why did you marry two women?"

Charles averted his gaze, his voice quieter. "I wanted to marry you… but I was forced to marry your sister. Then she gave birth to William… and left me."

Edward smirked, brushing his fingers over Charles' shoulders. "Now, forget the past. You're with me now."

Charles let out a breathy laugh. "Edward, slow down… you're being too intense."

Edward leaned in, his grip firm. "Do you really want me to slow down?" His voice was teasing, his movements full of intent.

Charles shuddered at the sensation, gripping onto him. "E-Edward…"

After 2 hours doing s*x

After a moment, Edward let out a deep breath. "We should stop—our friends are probably waiting for us."

They took a moment to clean up, dressing quickly in their suits before making their way to Room 17. Inside, their associates were gathered around a pool table, engaged in both leisure and business negotiations.

A man looked up as they entered. "Ah, there you are—Lord Charles, Lord Edward."

Another man gestured toward the documents on the table. "We have a lot to discuss regarding trade agreements."

After three hours of discussion, the men finally stood up and made their way back to their ladies. The women were gathered together, laughing and chatting, while the children played nearby.

Charles stretched slightly, but his legs felt weak. Edward leaned in, whispering teasingly, "Hey, control your legs—your wife will notice."

Charles shot him a sharp look before straightening up. "I know, I know."

He approached Seraphina with a composed expression. "We should head home now."

Seraphina nodded. "Alright. Goodbye, ladies."

William and Walter waved. "Bye, Jonathan! Bye, Julian!"

With that, they all climbed into the carriage and made their way back to the mansion.

As soon as they arrived, Charles went straight to the bedroom and collapsed onto the bed.

Seraphina crossed her arms. "You should change your clothes first."

Charles groaned, "Just give me a moment. I'm really tired—the carriage was uncomfortable."

Seraphina raised an eyebrow. "Really? But the carriage is quite comfortable."

Charles stood up, stretching his sore muscles before heading to change his clothes.

"Ahh, my back hurts..." he muttered inside the changing room.

Outside, Seraphina overheard him and called out, "Hey, Charles, are you alright?"

Startled, Charles straightened up. "O-Oh! Yes, I'm fine!" He quickly put a hand on his back, trying to shake off the discomfort. After changing, he stepped out of the room.

Raising an eyebrow, he looked at Seraphina. "Why are you standing outside? You've already changed."

Seraphina smirked. "I just wanted to see if you're really having back pain at this age."

Charles' eyes widened in shock. "I'm not that old!, I'm only 30!"

"Ahh, I'm going to sleep. I'm too tired," Charles mumbled as he walked into the bedroom.

He collapsed onto the bed, letting out a deep sigh before closing his eyes. Within moments, he drifted off to sleep.
