'Nothing Like Us' taekook

A handsome man was ambling the casino,marching through the crowd, upright and overconfident,like he didn't give a damn about his surroundings,as if he owned the place. He strode with decorum and a clear purpose. Each step gentle,firm yet calculating,his arms following the cadence of his gaits.

Face forward,chin up,eyes glazed and fiery,lips coated with a malicious sneer. Black, leather biker's jacket,paddings on the elbows,spine and broad shoulders. Black, cotton,pocket T-shirt, flexible,black leather pants and black, biker's boots,a helmet in his right hand,giving the perfect balance of edgy and rebellious vibes.The definition of a commanding figure.

He needed to draw attention to him. Even though people were staring and drooling over his stunning beauty and dominant appearance,his mind was set in creating chaos. His eyes ferreted around for the perfect opportunity and smirked the moment his gaze caught sight of the slot machines.

Swanking towards the row of machines,his hand began hitting them, pressing the spin button,activating the reels, rearranging the symbols. Some of them matching the winning combination,were spitting coins. People rushing their way to get them driven by a frantic need for easy money.

The man felt incredibly smugged and as he continued his way, flipping chairs,flinging chip marks from poker tables,winking at the dumbfounded players and staff. That certainly drew the attention of the Chief of Security and the Casino Manager.

Adrian and Ryker were both informed by Yosef while taking care of a little problem with a drunk dude at the bar and rushed to the man responsible for the disturbance. Adrian immediately blocked his way,Ryker stood behind him, circling him.

" You're destroying private property. I'm gonna have to ask you to kindly leave the casino." Adrian stated strictly yet politely. His piercing gaze carefully observing the intruder, reaching the conclusion that in spite of his provocative behaviour,he was exceptionally good looking. There was something in that man that caught the eye..

" Mmm..nope!Not a chance!" the man blantered,poking his tongue,standing absolutely still. His right hand holding his helmet,the other one shoved into his back pocket.

" Please sir, don't make a fuss.These men"he pointed at four bulky men at his left"will kindly escort you out." Adrian remarked sternly,crossing his hands over his chest. His light brown hair was neatly combed and his cologne was a bit pesky.

" I want..no I demand to talk to your boss." 

" The boss is unavailable at the moment so please leave." Mason chimed in,arching his brow at the audacity. He clearly had no idea with whom he was messing with. And V with being uncontrollable and angry,this guy was in deep shit.

The man drew closer, piercing his gaze on Adrian." Call V now. I want to have a word with that asshole."

Adrian glanced at Mason who wiggled his shoulders. Not only did the man know who V was but had the guts to stand up to him and demanded to meet him. Apparently he had a deathly wish!

Adrian scooted over,eyes blazing with rage and whispered to his ear." If you don't leave, I'll be forced to drag you out. And it won't be pleasant,boy. My men are ready to snap your neck if they have to. Go away and you won't get hurt."

People hearing his threatening tone would piss their pants from fear but this guy..he throbbed with laughter,holding his stomach and folding in two.The two men were speechless,watching him laugh and exchange weird looks,not knowing how to handle him.

Mason grabbed his hand, twisting it behind his back but the man in one shifty move,threw his helmet on the shiny floor,rotated his body, gripping Mason's free hand and repeated his move, trapping the older, practically forcing him to let him go. He was incredibly strong.

" You're the wise guy? You need to practice on your speed and work on your moves. You seem a little rusty." He shook his head,sneering.

Adrian attempted to help his friend but the man moved quickly and used Mason as a shield between them. Mason signalled Adrian and the men to seize movements and avoid causing a scene. They had enough people staring and whispering at what was going on.

" I don't know who the fuck you are but you're messing with the wrong crowd." Mason warned him, hissing from the strong grip,eyes seething with exasperation.

"I know exactly with whom I'm dealing with. A bunch of losers with an asshole as a leader! Get me V!" His grip tightened and his menacing eyes glowing fire!" Get that fucken pussy down here! Now!" He glared straight at Adrian." If you don't want me to hurt your friend,do as I say!" He tightened his grip on the man's hand,causing him to wince at the pain.

He knew exactly how to handle the situation and was convinced Adrian wouldn't risk Mason's life. He'd most likely lure him to a less isolated place, hoping to come up with a way to stop him.

Adrian didn't want to jeopardize his friend's life and deeply sighed. His lips a thin line, contemplating on what to do. He had to get him outta here and deal with him in private.

A self-satisfied smile playing on the man's lips,mixed with a lazy smirk,pulling the corners of his succulent mouth. Like he knew he was for the win,destined to have his way. A belief bolstered by his confident demour. He seemed amused without a shred of fear. They found it intriguing!

V was gonna beat the crap out of him and they were almost certain he'd pull up a good fight.

" This way." Adrian finally gushed in a placid tone, pointing at a door to their left, leading to the stairs and elevator for V's office. Adrian led the way,the man, still holding Mason, followed him and once they walked through the door and into the corridor, Adrian halted.

" Wait here. I have to call my boss."

" No need. I bet he's on his way." His certainty was amazing and irritating. A couple of minutes passed and the stranger had his gaze fixed behind Adrian's back." Where the fuck is that pussy? Too old to walk? Do you have him on a wheelchair ? Is he crippled? Somebody finally kicked his ass?" he scoffed, squeezing Mason's wrist,a loud whizz coming out of his mouth.The stranger was hardy to have managed to immobilize a guy like Mason! 

" Oh man!" Adrian asserted, tossing his head to the right,hands hidden in his side pockets."You're too good looking..I hate to see your beautiful face deformed."

" I never had you for a softy..Adrian. I thought that was Alexander and Guy's quality. You, Mason and Ryker are the tough guys!" He wiggled his thin eyebrows, lips launching a grimace of mockery." Beat first, ask questions later? Isn't that your motto?" 

Adrian seened as stunned as Mason. The guy had done his homework and knew each and everyone of them. " Well read! You've done your homework..You know our names.. isn't it fair to tell us yours?"

The stranger shook his head, frisking his lips."I'll surprise you!"He cropped up his head, towards the surveillance camera installed in the corner of the wall,winking at it." I bet Yosef is watching. Wave hi!" 

Adrian miffed,lifted his eyes looking straight at the camera and wondered how the fuck Yosef missed this! It wasn't like him to be careless but anticipate this sort of thing and prevent it. What the man said left him in awe!

" In case you're wondering how ' big brother ' up there missed it,I guess there's someone smarter than you dumbasses!"he gave them a smug grin and seeing them blown away,he tried to hide his laughter, pressing his lips together.

Mason gnarled at his boldness, attempting to tug him,pulling his body forward to escape but his grip squeezed harder and eventually gave up,feeling like a damn fool!

" Easy there Mason!" he mocked him." You're gonna make me break your arm! We don't want that,do we?"

" Screw you asshole." Mason threw at him, embarrassment and wrath flooding his veins. He wanted to break his bones one by one. Slit his throat and watch his life slipping away.

" Language Mason!" The taunting tone infuriated Mason further." Watch your mouth!"

V was taking forever to come but the man was calm and patient awaiting his arrival. The elevator door split in half,quick,hectic gaits recited in the empty corridor. The stranger's deep, brown eyes glistened,his breath hitched..

Seven bulky men appeared,faces painted with a stolid, phlegmatic expression but V weaved his way towards them dipped in a mask of rage and mockery. He had enough problems to handle and having to deal with an asshole creating a fuss instead of losing valuable time and going after Jungkook was making him mad as a hatter! 

He was determined to wrap things up here and fly to Seoul! He should have been on his jet and on his way to Jungkook.And who was that fucker who had the balls to stand up to him? He'd pay for everything!

The more steps he took the more his blood boiled! Nobody could foresee his reaction the moment his deep,ocean eyes glared at the stranger a few metres away. Taehyung was awestruck,scared out of his wits to blink in case he was hallucinating and the man would vanish!

Jungkook!

His Jungkook, standing in front of him,dressed in black, looking absolutely breathtaking and so fucken sexy!

Heart burnt in his chest. Waves of excitement, surprise, doubt crashed into him,leaving him speechless.Body stiff and mind blank. Attempting to speak,the words stubbornly refused to come out.

Jungkook, in a swift move, let go of Mason,pushing him aside, taking one tiny step. Adrian and Mason were about to grab him and pin him down on the floor when V's hoarse voice stopped every movement.

" Don't touch him." His gaze never left Jungkook's as if he was terrified of losing him..of disappearing for good." Step away."

The two men,in spite of their obvious shock, unwillingly obeyed and simply remained right and left of the stranger.

 " Speak of the devil! What took you so long V?" He placed his hands across his chest, folding them,a placid smeer spread in his gorgeous face." I expected you much sooner but I guess you're too much of a fucken pussy to show your face! You usually run like a coward! That's what you do best. You run."

Taehyung was melting like butter in a pan, overwhelmed with joy! Jungkook had come for him! He was actually there..a few steps and he could hold him in his arms,hug and kiss the life out of him! 

" I was hoping for a witty response. You look..mmm.." he hummed,giving him a supercilious nudge." like an idiot! A damn fool! A fucken asshole! Exactly as I thought you would be!"

" Hey shut your mouth! You don't talk to V like that!" Mason flared at Jungkook.

" You don't have any idea where you're getting yourself into boy!" Adrian said nastily." Boss, should I teach him a lesson?" He thrashed his fist into his palm, gnashed his teeth ready to break bones. Despite Jungkook 's daring provocation, V stood absolutely still,not uttering a single word.

" Answer V.. should they teach me a lesson? Or you want to have the honour?"He made a stand, waiting for his next move." YOU'RE A PUSSY KIM TAEHYUNG! A GODDAMN COWARD! YOU ACT TOUGH BUT INSIDE YOU'RE NOTHING BUT A WUSS!" Jungkook screamed on the top of his lungs.

" So what are you gonna do about it?"V finally asked in a choked tone,taking a step forward. Damn! His heart was drumming in his chest so intensely he actually thought he'd jump out at any moment!

" I'm gonna have to..teach YOU a lesson.." he also took one step towards V." one you'll never forget."

" I'm open to suggestions." One more step separating him from Jungkook.

" Really? Mmm interesting! Let me think.." he moved closer, standing face to face with the man he was longing for. A hand was raised and landed on Taehyung's cheek,causing his head to flinch and his friends to rush for help but V lifted his hand and stopped them." That is for walking out on me." he asserted,only for Taehyung to hear.

Another hard slap shook Taehyung 's face."That's for confessing and leaving me in an empty bed."he whispered,his intoxicating vanilla scent driving V wild! The third slap was even stronger in force, slightly making Taehyung lose his balance and the rest of the gang raving mad!" And that is for thinking you're unworthy of my love and for trying to kill yourself!Stupid ass!"

Jungkook clasped the collar of his neatly ironed grey shirt, pulling him closer,breath gurgling and chest puffing." Now kiss me you bloody fool before I punch you!"

Taehyung's heart was stuck in his throat, sucking in every line of his divine features,until Jungkook, impatient to taste him,smashed his lips on his,his tongue slipping in the depths of the man's mouth, reeking of alcohol and smoke, kissing him with such roughness it left them breathless.

Taehyung grunted at the feeling of joy blossoming in his chest, tingling his stomach,sparks ignited,lips colliding greedily, savagely devouring each breath. Guy made an effort to say something, anything but it seemed words were corked in his burning throat. Their straight boss, fable V,was kissing,well to put it accurately, eating..a MAN. A man! He could hardly believe his own eyes!

They were all staring,unable to make sense of it. Who was that man? Why were they kissing like no tomorrow? Did they know each other? Wasn't V straight? Those questions were totally messing up their malfunctioning brains.

A strict voice was heard through their earbuds, startling them."STOP STARING MORONS! GIVE THEM SOME PRIVACY FOR GOD'S SAKE! Let them kiiiiiss!"he emphasized playfully.

Yosef had seen everything because nothing escapes 'big brother'! He had a huge,bright smile on his face and for once, after years he went back to his childhood,his teenage years, where he could live and fall in love! Happy and carefree!

The men immediately turned their backs facing the walls, Alexander signalling the guards to leave. They were just standing there,with mixed emotions and millions of unanswered questions,racking their brains! 

Taehyung curled up his face into Jungkook's neck, hugging him in a fix manner.The sense of security and warmth,the invigorating, familiar vanilla scent,made him feel at home. Jungkook's breath was taken away not from the squeeze but from the realization that Taehyung's arms were finally around him. The warmth of the embrace relaxed him as they seemed to melt into each other.

" I can't believe you're here..I thought I lost you forever..I love you baby! I love you so damn much..tell me this isn't a dream and I won't wake up in an empty bed alone again.." he cupped his face with both hands.Taehyung 's voice,tender and jittery,meandered the boy's stomach.

" I'm here. It's not a dream Tae. You left me,broke your promises but I was truthful to mine. When I said forever I meant it! You're the love of my life and it's impossible to breathe without you. I love you so very much!" Delicate fingers streamed on the man's hair and cheek,the touch rippling the older's heart and stomach. Taehyung,despite the intoxicating thrill and the butterflies jingling his stomach, couldn't help but wonder how he knew about his little adventure." Who told you about my.. situation? Nobody except my friends knew."

The older understood something fishy was going on but also that Jungkook didn't intend on telling him yet and he was fine with it! Jungkook traced his fingers over the line of his lover's jaw, pulling him closer,if possible. V's lips parted as the younger 's thumb brushed over their tender softness, Taehyung tangling his slender fingers into his hair, clutching them securely. His hostile and macho behaviour,the teasing smirk was replaced with a gleaming, cheerful smile,eyes blinking,a shy expression plastering his flushed cheeks and no trace of mockery. He had his head resting on Taehyung's shoulder,holding his hand while V had his arm circling his waist. He was breathtaking!

" I understand you've got plenty of questions and I'll answer them,but first.." his eyes glazed at his baby,a glowing,boxy smile plated his lips,brightening his handsome face." I'd like you to meet my..my. "

Jungkook bowed to each of the men separately,showing his respect." I'm Kim Jungkook. Taehyung's boyfriend. Nice to meet you,hyungs and I must apologise for my previous behaviour! I'm so sorry!"The sound of his voice was dripping with sweetness and affection and his genuine sincerity kind of melted their hearts. However,the word ' boyfriend ' gained their attention!

" HIS WHAT?" they bellowed out all together, agape and awed!It was kind of funny and amusing to see their reaction.

Taehyung frowned." Why so surprised? What's so hard to believe? I've got a boyfriend!" And there it was again! A big,shiny, boxy smile! In all the years they have known V,they had never seen him smile. Grin or smirk or grit his teeth definitely but not smile! It was oddly bizarre but suited him,making him look more of a human rather than a vampire.

" Excuse us for being stunned!" Adrian replied,eyes trailing from V to Jungkook."We..we..I mean..you..are.."

Alexander huffed and while closing the gap between them,he spoke." What he means is that..how should I put it? Mmmm..your previous life choices were utterly different. Nothing indicated your change in..tastes and we were unprepared for this.. and you're smiling.. actually smiling.."

Mason stepped forward, signalling Alexander to hush." You were straight,banging chicks,avoided affairs and love like the plague so excuse us for losing our shit with your boyfriend!"

" Watch your mouth Mason!" Taehyung warned him,hiking his brows and forcing the man to shut his mouth.

Jungkook giggled, tangling his fingers with Taehyung's." They have a point,baby! It was quite a blow for them! They had no idea I existed because you were too much of a wussy to tell them!" 

Taehyung chewed on his lips,making puppy eyes, blinking his eyelashes at his boyfriend."Sorry baby.. you're right. I couldn't tell them. I didn't know what to say. I suck at opening up to people."

" They're your friends,your family Tae! If they had known, they'd be able to keep you out of trouble! So no more secrets,ok? You'll be honest with them from now on! And smile more! It doesn't cost a thing to smile from time to time,baby!"He gave him a soft peck on the lips,fingers brushing the soft flesh of his cheek and left the older man no choice of disagreeing as he nodded submissively.

Mason stooped over Alexander whispering." It only took him a second to agree. He's been busting our balls for years and turns into a kitten for him." All he got was a sideway glance from Alexander and an elbow on his stomach.

" Enough with the chit chat! Care to tell us what the hell's going on?" Ryker asked rather impatiently because he got tired of not knowing.

They had a point V had to admit however the only thing he longed for was to be alone with his baby,talk and make love. Not quite in that order!" I'll tell you everything but right now I want to spend time with my baby,so you'll excuse us." He wrapped his arm around Jungkook's waist ready to take him upstairs to their house when..

" Where do you think you're going with my son V?"

Everyone's head turned around towards the firm, rigorous voice,facing a man transmitting decisiveness and determination,marching their way through the door. It was unexpected for Taehyung to see Namjoon and for a moment he forgot to breathe. The man's appearance and physic resembled one of a ruthless gangster,dressed in a total black outfit,his eyes digging deep into his terrified soul.

Has Namjoon come to take Jungkook back? Did he follow him to Vegas only to claim his son and destroy their lives? He couldn't lose Jungkook! He pranced to his side,still holding tight on the younger 's hand.

" Please,hyung don't take Jungkook away from me! I love him very much and I won't do anything to hurt him. I'll do anything in my power to protect him,keep him safe and make sure he's happy! Please trust me! That's all I'm asking..trust me!" His voice was slightly shaking and there wasn't a shred of arrogance while talking,bowing in the presence of Kim Namjoon. His head was buzzing,spinning and every muscle in his body was tense.

His friends stared at each other as one surprise was coming after the other. V bowing to someone seemed unheard of! V never bowed to any living soul, not even the Yakuza.

Namjoon,hands placed in his pants pockets, eyes inky and flared up,taking two steps." Give me a reason to trust you V! A damn good reason to let my son stay with you. You're not exactly an angel.. more of the devil itself. A gangster. A thug. What future will my son have with you? What can you possibly offer him?"

Taehyung's heart sunk in his chest. He kept his head low out of respect and fear of what he'd see in his eyes. Anger, resentment and rejection, considering him unfit to be with his son. Whatever words came to mind sounded cheesy and lame,spoken millions of times and couldn't begin to describe his love for Jungkook.

He found the courage to crop up his head,gazing straight at Namjoon and even though he looked intimidating and judgemental, Taehyung would fight till the end for him and his love." I'll give my life to protect Jungkook. My last breath because he owns all of me. I know he doesn't need me, you've raised him well but I need him to breathe. I don't have a life without him,hyung." He sensed Jungkook squeezing his hand as if he was telling him he'd done excellent.

Namjoon was extremely hard to read and anticipate his next move. His face,exacting and obscure, didn't betray his emotions." You could do better V. Fancy words are easy,actions on the other hand speak louder. You're a criminal..you all are.. you're surrounded by danger and death and you're asking me to let my son enter your world. Would you let yours do the same so lightly?"

Taehyung's heart sunk deep in his aching chest. Attempting to breathe in,sufficient air refused to enter his lungs,oxygen wouldn't stream into his blood. The muscles between his ribs couldn't contrast or pull forward. Each cell in his body went numb.

He knew it would be difficult to be accepted and Namjoon seemed too intelligent to deal with,asking the right questions,having considerable doubts and the man was scared he'd strongly oppose their relationship. However he was set in proving him wrong." I'll do whatever it takes to make Jungkook happy and safe. My life will be his shield against danger. I'm asking for a chance to prove myself and gain your trust. Make you see I'm the only one for him.Please hyung..let us live together."

Namjoon rubbed his jaw with his palm, contemplating his next move." I'm sorry V. I can't do that. I'm here to take him back. And none of your thugs will stop me."

V squeezed Jungkook's hand,pulled him closer,placing him behind him, displaying his body as a shield. His men formed a line next to them ready to protect the couple with no intention of drawing back and Taehyung felt grateful for their support.

Namjoon's lips molded into a taunting jeer, appearing amused by the scene rather than intimidated." Is this supposed to scare me? Is this how you do business V? Letting your gang do the dirty job? Not impressed!"

" We're family and we always have each other's back if that answers your question." Adrian spoke without beating around the bush.

" If Jungkook wants to stay here with us, he's an adult and can do whatever he pleases." Mason added,his eyes sombre and dreary.

" I can make your life a living hell. Make you wish you were never born. I've got such power to turn your fucken world upside down and make you disappear..just like that!" he snapped his fingers, dark, intimidating eyes fixed on V.

Another handsome man made a sudden appearance,shaking his head and smacking Namjoon's neck." I've had enough with your silly pranks Nam! Nobody finds them funny and you're scaring poor Tae!" 

" Oh come baby!" Namjoon protested,pouting his pink lips." You're taking away all the fun!"

" If this is your idea of a joke, nobody's laughing! Wasn't I clear enough? No more jokes!" 

" Jin hyung?" Taehyung's eyes popped out and jumped out of his skin. What was happening? Should he panic or be at ease with Jin there? He appeared as dumbfounded as the rest!

More men came through the door,four to be accurate. V and his friends were at a loss!How easy was it for the casino to be breached? People coming and going and Yosef seemed incapable of handling it! Tae was grappling to pull himself together and couldn't believe his own eyes! 

" Hyunjin? MinJoon? What are you all doing here? When did you come? I don't understand.." his eyes slinking from his brother and MinJoon to Yoongi and Jimin?

Jin beamingly smiled and stepped closer, opening his arms for a hug." Come here baby! Give your father in-law a hug!"

The man was standing still,lost for words, his mouth wide open and if it wasn't for Jungkook pushing him forward,he would have stayed motionless forever. Jin hugged him tightly, caressing his hair and kissing his forehead.

" You've lost weight Tae! Aren't you eating honey? Have you neglected your health? Don't worry now that I'm here I'm gonna make these bread cheeks,fluffy again!" he stated,pinching both cheeks.

Alexander and the other's swallowed their laughter watching the almighty V being treated like a baby by the stranger. They found it remarkably entertaining! A side of V that was hidden beneath a cold, rough mask of profound dominance.

" You must be Tae's family. I'm Kim Seokjin..call me Jin. Jungkook's papa. Nice meeting you!" 

The men greeted him in turns and thought he was the sweetest person ever! So kind and cheerful,it warmed their hearts.

Hyunjin, observing his brother's surprise and reluctance, avoiding to even look at him, fell into his arms, snuggling his face in his neck,hugging him and crying." I've missed you.. I've missed you so much Taetae.. don't ever leave me alone again. I'm sorry for always judging and criticizing you. I'm so sorry.." He lifted his head to gaze at him, eyelashes fluttering and eyes teary." I love you! I know I don't say it often but I'm so proud of you and everything you have accomplished. For the man you became and the life you gave me..thank you brother!" 

Taehyung was knocked down with a feather,not expecting his brother's sweet words and turning too emotional.Hyunjin hated his life,his world always judging his choices and scolding him. Hearing him say how proud he was of his hyung, shattered the last barrier holding him. "It's ok.. I've got nothing to forgive you for. I love you very much and I want what's best for you. I need you to be happy..so that I will be too." he smiled at his brother, drops of tears escaping and venting his cheeks. 

Taehyung then turned to MinJoon." I'm glad you're here. I know we've had our differences but I've always known you were the best choice for my brother." He was speaking from the heart.

MinJoon did something he had never done in the two years they had known each other. He hugged Taehyung." I'm sorry for everything..I had no idea what you and Hyunjin went through..you sacrificed so much for him..for all of us and I'm grateful Taehyung."

V nodded as it meant the world to him. He finally felt accepted and wanted by the people he loved. He realised the sacrifices he made were worth it.

Yoongi was next. He tapped his back, lips curling into a smile,winking at him." It's good to see you,Taehyung." 

" Good to see you too,Yoongi! I mean it."Taehyung responded, nodding and feeling his heart lighter. Well, until he glanced at Jimin. The younger had a sceptical expression on his gorgeous face,standing beside his husband. Taehyung had no idea if he was gonna punch him or kick his balls or both!

" Jimin.." he scrunched his mouth, biting his lower lip. God he was petrified! Jimin had the ability to make him scared out of his wits just by glaring at him.

He was utterly caught on the hop when Jimin smiled and surprisingly wrapped his arms around him. Taehyung with his hands glued to the side,glared at Jungkook and his condescending nod and glistering smile brought his heart back to its place and the air in his throbbing lungs.

" Are you gonna hug me or what? It's kind of embarrassing standing there as a freaking statue!" Jimin hugged him tighter whereas Taehyung finally found the guts to do the same, whispering.

" Thank you!"

Jimin drew back, cropping up his eyebrow." I still haven't fully forgiven you" he flipped his forehead." but since you'll become my brother in law, I'll have plenty of chances to get back at you!"

The man smiled brightly." Fair enough!"

" Make my Kook happy! Love and cherish him because you're one lucky bastard Tae!"

" I swear. He'll be the happiest person on earth!" He touched his heart with his fist,giving him an honest promise. His eyes slowly drifted towards Namjoon." You're not gonna take Jungkook back to Seoul,are you?"

Namjoon timidly smiled,his cute dimples making a small appearance." Nope! It was a prank. Lame but I tried!" 

" As you have already guessed, my husband has a weird sense of humour! He's got trouble getting he's not funny at all! You'll get used to him!" Jin rushed to explain his husband idiotic behaviour." Nobody is taking Kook from you!" A beaming smile laced his face watching Taehyung gripping his son's hand, pulling him by his side,gently kissing his head and the happiness in their expressions was a clear declaration of their love. Jin was thrilled!

" You're stuck with him Taehyung!"Yoongi added merrily." Good luck in handling him! I'm talking from experience!" Jimin's face squinted,smacking his head with his hand." Ok, I'll shut up now."

Taehyung coughed, clearing his dry throat and in the process of doing what he was mostly afraid of. Introductions. There wasn't an easy way to do it so he jumped into it." Hyungs, I'd like you to meet my family. Adrian my Chief of Security, Mason my Gaming Manager,Ryker my Casino Manager, Guy second in command after Adrian and Alexander my P.A. There's Yosef of course but he seems absent today..for some reason." His men nodded in turns and Taehyung,sucking in sharp breaths, holding his baby's hand,continued.

"You already know Jungkook..This is his papa Seokjin, his brother Jimin, brother-in-law Yoongi,my brother-in-law MinJoon,my baby brother Hyunjin and Kim Namjoon.. Jungkook's dad.." he coughed again." Namjoon hyungistheChiefothemetropolitanPoliceofSeoulandYoongihisrighthand." There he said it! In one go!

Adrian scratched his head." Come again?"

Taehyung huffed. He couldn't go through this again! " What part didn't you get?" 

" The last one. Their part." Adrian pointed his index finger at Namjoon and Yoongi.

It was so fucken awkward and V hated repeating himself especially when he had to reveal such mind-blowing information!"Namjoon hyung is..the Chief of the Metropolitan police of Seoul and Yoongi his second in command." 

" COPS? YOU BROUGHT COPS IN HERE?"Adrian screamed at the top of his lungs.

" ARE YOU FUCKING MAD?"Ryker exclaimed, eyebrows flashed, watching with numbed terror.

" HAVE YOU LOST YOUR FREAKING MIND?" Mason lashed out.

"FUCK ME! COPS!" Guy squawked,his gaze poking about for an escape route.

" YOU'VE GOT A BROTHER?" Alexander babbled in total surprise with the four men throwing him a curve." What? I didn't know he had one!" he waggled his shoulders, raising his eyebrows.

" Seriously? That's your question?" Adrian asked, furrowing his brows." V brought cops into the casino! Can your stupid head get that?" 

Namjoon, witnessing the fuss,the confusion and the fear in their eyes, stepped in to clear things." I can assure you we pose no danger to you. We have known about Taehyung's true identity and his life here in Vegas for months. If we were to do anything, don't you think we would have done it already? It wasn't easy to accept his way of living but we somehow did. Taehyung is my son's chosen husband and dear Hyunjin's brother. He's family and like you,we always protect our family. You've got nothing to fear." 

" Tae's family is also ours. You have been by his side through the darkest hours of his life. Have given him a home and people he can count on. We respect that." Jin added,making an effort to calm them and show them they had nothing to worry about.

Their words were faced with considerable skepticism and doubts. They weren't in the habit of associating with cops, let alone accepting them and having them running around the casino with the fear of exposing their illegal activities. Moreover,there was the Yakuza issue. Who knew what they'd do if they found out V is involved with cops.

" I don't know about this V." Mason whispered to his ear." Too risky."

" Yeah! Having them here is gonna mess things up." Adrian added.

Their reaction wasn't something Taehyung hadn't considered. On the contrary,it was one of the things that held him back,making him edgy. He wished he had an answer,a way to ease their worries but in reality he had none. 

" I say we give it a try." Guy spoke out of nowhere." We have all seen how V was over the last year. How much he has changed and how miserable he has been. Now we know why. He was there for all of us,giving us a steady job we love,a secure home and he's our pillar. The least we can do is repay him for his kindness. I,for once, can't ask him to give up his happiness for us. It would be too selfish,guys. We need to support him the same way he supported us." He stood by V and Jungkook.

Alexander didn't give it much thought. V had saved his life more than once and it was bloody time to repay him the favour so he took his place next to Guy. Adrian scratched his nape, mumbling and slowly walked towards V. Ryker and Mason stared at each other, blowing a huff of surrender and waggling their shoulders, walked over to V's side.

" Thank you!" Taehyung nodded and he was actually able to breathe. He had Jungkook,his family and his friends with him. What more could a man ask?

Jin clapped his hands." Excellent! That calls for a celebration!"

" Oh boy!" Jimin snorted." You know what that means!" He checked his brother,glued on Taehyung's arms." Food till we drop!"

" They all look so skinny!" Jin said,gazing at the stunned gang across him." Nothing my delicious,home cooked food can't fix!" 

Jungkook chuckled at his papa's usual behaviour. For Jin, everyone was skinny and in need of good food and he took it personally to make sure they were well fed!" Now you're in trouble,hyungs. By the time papa leaves, you'll gain at least ten pounds!" he lisped to them,holding his laughter at their scared faces.

" But we're not hungry!" Adrian whispered back." We've got work and it's pizza night!"

" Oh no! We never say that! You don't want him to hear you!" Jungkook uttered,curling his lips.

" Why?"

" Because he'll start rapping and give you a lecture on how unhealthy junk food is and he'll be very offended if you don't try his cooking." The younger placed his index finger on his lips,telling him to huss.

Jin insisted on going to the kitchen of the restaurant to cook and didn't take no for an answer. He took Jimin and Hyunjin with him for help." Kook, you stay here with your fiance and look after him!" he winked at his son and marched to the kitchen with Alexander showing him the way. The rest went up to Taehyung's penthouse,at the big dining room to have a drink and Alexander joined them minutes later.

It was kind of awkward. On one side of the glass table there were cops and on the other V's gang. A match made in heaven or hell! They exchanged a few words about this and that,trying to decode the opposite side.

Jungkook wouldn't let go of Taehyung's hand. Sitting next to him,he had his head resting on his shoulder with the older man constantly kissing his hand and forehead. It felt so right to be in Taehyung's arms,feel his warmth and love. It was something he needed so badly. The past was gone and along with it the nasty memories that gave him sadness. He could gaze at the future with optimism and anticipation.

Taehyung kept staring at his baby, admiring his beauty, absorbing every expression he made in his gorgeous face. He locked his arm around his shoulder,his fingers softly touched and lifted up his head. " You have no idea how much I love you!How happy you make me! You're my dream come true! Everything I wanted but didn't know I needed until I met you!"

Jungkook's cheeks got a crimson red flash as he blinked his eyes and corked a moan." I expect you to show me your love every day with the same passion you make love to me..I waited for you for so long and even when I was on the verge of losing hope,I always found my way back to you.. My love is stronger than my ego."

" When I saw you in that restaurant with MinJoon I got jealous of him. It was an unknown feeling to me, probably because I had convinced myself I was immune to any kind of emotions except apathy. I realised I was thinking about you and I began to wonder how long you had been on my mind and then it struck me. Since I first met your doe eyes,saw your beautiful smile..you never left. I tried to reason it by convincing myself that it was revenge that drew me to you but somewhere deep inside I knew I was defeated! It took me forever to understand where I belonged but now that I know, I'm yours for eternity." His honey-sweet voice spoke to Kook's heart. His thumb skimming over his cheek and then his half opened lips,caused a fire in his body and soul.

" Why did you leave me,hyung?"

"To keep you from getting hurt. I did the same for my brother and it seemed hypocritical and selfish of me to put your life in danger."

" I'm a big boy. Danger has been part of my life since my birth. Admit you got cold feet and run away!"He provoked him playfully.

" I got scared, baby! I'm never scared of anything!"

" Scared I might get hurt or that this might not work? You being who you are and me the son of a cop?"

" I guess my biggest worry was your parents objecting to our relationship and you hating me in the end for creating a distance between you."he admitted, sadness coated his voice.

" I could never hate you,hyung! Don't you think I would have hated you after the ugly things that happened between us?"

" A man crazy in love makes stupid thoughts!"

" So you admit you're a bit of an idiot!" 

" When it comes to you and love I'm the dumbest!" 

Jungkook flicked his chin." To make it up to me,you have to renew your promises to never let go of my hand. Always stay by my side. Love me with all your heart and.. fuck me till you I faint!" He smiled,winking at stunned V and bit his juicy bottom lip.

Taehyung felt the bulge between his legs stretching his pants and gulped. Wrong timing to get hard with their families around,giving them glances from time to time, studying their moves." Baby.. don't do that.. You know it drives me crazy!" 

Jungkook blinked his eyelashes adorably cute."What did I do?" he lisped innocently,a tiny smirk forming in his lips as his free hand slided on Taehyung's left thigh, dangerously going up.

" Provoking me." He let out a muffled sigh,his heart racing,his chest vibrating to the gentle touch.

" I did not do such a thing!" 

" Oh yeah,you most certainly did! Keep that attitude for later.. I've got great plans for us!"

It was Kook's turn to feel horny and needy, taking sharp breaths to cool his raging hormones." Do you have my..toys?" 

The older one sneered." I added a few to our collection..just for you!"

" I can't wait to try them..I missed our.. sessions!"

Taehyung instead of an answer,he attached his lips on Jungkook's,kissing him so passionately,he completely forgot they were others in the room.

" Oh please! Not again!" Adrian blurted out."We are right here you know! We can see you!"

Taehyung unwillingly let go of Kook,both looking so flustered and embarrassed. The younger's face was hidden in V's neck,feeling shy." Sorry.." Taehyung said, coughing.

" We understand. You two lovebirds will have plenty of time to smooch when we're gone." Yoongi jested, tapping his fingers on the table.

" Food is here!" Jin's happy voice was heard as he came through the door, holding a tray filled with plates, Jimin and Hyunjin following him with two more.The meal was set on the table,the three men took a seat next to their partners and the gang drooled over the mouth watering delicacies." Dig in! Don't be shy!" 

" Not yet,papa." Jungkook said,looking at the door. Taehyung seemed puzzled and he kept his eyes at the direction Kook was staring. 

In seconds, fast footsteps were heard, the door burst open and Yosef barged in, smiling." What did I miss again? Oh food! Great, I'm starving!" He halted the moment his gaze united with Kook's.

The younger stood up,went around the table and slowly hobbled towards the man. Facing him,his big, doe eyes radiated,his lips loomed into a huge,bright smile and hugged him tightly as Yosef did the same." Thank you so much,Yosef hyung! Thank you for giving him back to me!"
