One piece: Evolving Towards a New Race

Just after waking up, Ars calculated the time and he had roughly around five years and a half left, until Luffy departed from Foosha Village.

When he woke up it was already the middle of the morning, the others had let him sleep since they knew that he had stayed up until quite late. When they noticed he was up they came to ask questions. 

"You found what you wanted, right? " Oak asked.

"Indeed as you expected, that place full of machines was what I was searching for!" Ars nodded and responded.

"So what now?" Rook asked with some curiosity, after all, while he complained from time to time he was enjoying exploring the island. And now he wanted to know what followed and if he could keep exploring.

"Now we hide this place and will slowly build a small settlement, we will choose a location close by to the cave and we build a house that everyone will live in, until we build a few more, and in the future it will serve as my house so i can keep the entrance hidden and be easily accessible to me, the only requisite i have it's that it covers the the cave entrance." Ars answered, made a brief pause and then added "Then we build a few more houses and start planning how to get more people, my idea is to invite people from places with tyrants or people that are living in inappropriate conditions, basically people that would accept leaving for a new place, with a fresh start."

Everyone agreed that it was a decent idea, Ars then remembered someone who had died a violent death and could help a lot in this situation. Yesterday on the explanation referring to the TCP, the rules he got for using it were, first it was only able to bring healthy (no sickness) people back, the second rule was that he could only visit the past once a month, the third rule was he could only save one person at a time, the fourth rule was that person needed to accept his invitation, the final rule was that the individual needed to die soon if there was no interference from Ars, basically he could only bring someone what was about to get killed, Ars didn't understand why but he accepted it.

He thought about it and he decided to try and save Tom the man who was once known has the best shipwright in the world, with that, not only he would have another shipwright but also someone who had experience with building houses, since thanks to aqua laguna a lot of buildings would be destroyed every year and they had to be repaired or even had to build new ones.

"Hey guys, let me introduce you to my new idea!" Ars proceeded to explain his intentions, and how he was gonna do it. The others were more excited than he thought. But it wasn't long until he discovered why, the idea they could save some family members and bring them back was super happy news for them, and they were all for it.

So he went to the machine and started preparing, with the promise that he would later revive a few people of their choosing too.

He prepared himself and started searching for the date, the machine itself helped a lot, it let its operator see the past, up to 200 years back. 

After searching for a few hours he finally found what he was searching for, the day that Tom died, with that he activated the machine and went in.

Behind the entrance of the machine, a strange tunnel was linking both the present and that past moment. 

He waited for Tom to say his last words, and when he was about to die the world looked like it froze and only him and Tom were allowed to move.

Tom was surprised and muttered "Am i dead??"

Ars laughed and shook his head "Nope, but i have a proposition for you so i froze time for everything else! "

"How is that possible…?" Tom was shocked beyond anything he ever experienced.

"I would like you to come with me and work for me, I will save your life, give your prime back and bring you with me, everyone will think you have died, since a fake body will appear for a few weeks before disappearing." Ars quickly explained his objective.

Tom was still shocked but he understood that he either accepted or he would die here anyway, no matter the choice he would leave his loved ones behind.

"Well I guess living would be preferable." Tom accepted Ars invitation.

When they were leaving the fake body stood there imobile and looked like he just got killed and passed away for everyone else, and the rest of the story kept going like Ars was never here.

When they returned Tom was younger, the machine had destroyed and then recreated his younger body. Tom looked around amazed with all the machines around, but said nothing and kept following Ars until they left the hidden cave. Ars went to find the others, and introduced Tom to them.

"Everybody, this is Tom!"

 They all greeted him, and he greeted them back.

After he slowly explained his objectives to Tom, his dream, and finally what they were currently doing.

"You are very ambitious, but I hope you succeed. You can count on me to help on anything you need" Tom laughed and offered help, then he stopped and looked at Ars super seriously. Ars was surprised and prepared himself for some bad news or something like that, but then Tom with a grin plastered on his face asked "What would you prefer that i call you your majesty, your highness or Lord?"

Ars and everyone else were caught by surprise, but then he annoyedly answered," I already said to everyone else that they can call me by my name!!"

But then everyone started to call him your majesty and laughing their asses off.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Everyone kept laughing, the only one who wasn't laughing was Lily, who didn't even understand what was happening.

Ars kept trying to stop them, but that only made them laugh harder and make fun of him even more.

The rest of the day Tom and Oak went together gathering materials for the houses, Rook went to check on their ship and gather some food on his way back, they still had part of the wolf and some supplies they had brought on the ship. Koral stayed in her tent trying to organize her stuff to be easier to use in case they needed it, after all sometimes speed could save a life. Finally Ars, he also went to explore the island to try to increase the information on his drawn map, and today he was the one who was keeping an eye on Lily.

Lily was super happy jumping around everywhere, Ars had to go grab her several times to keep her on a manageable distance from himself. By the time it was time to return, he had managed to map a few places with food, like edible mushrooms, several different fruit trees and finally places with easy prey to hunt or fish.

On their way back Lily still super excited, and distracted, tripped on a root, and got a small cut, Ars was surprised, until now he thought she had a logia and she would elementalize, but she didn't, she was only lightly bleeding, but she did break out in tears, crying loudly, Ars approached, helped her calm down and cleaned the dirt and the area surrounding the wound with a piece of cloth, when he touched the blood he got a sample. 

What surprised him was the fact that there were differences in her DNA from regular humans, the reason he noticed was his ability, it warned him of a long inspection period something it normally didn't happen, and when he mentally checked, he saw the different DNA, but when he thought about it made sense after all vegapunk had used the blood line factor to grant powerful abilities to the seraphims in the future and also could use it to clone devil fruits, he would study this more in the future, for now was time to get back to camp and let Koral check the wound. 

He picked Lily up and rushed back, when they arrived, only Rook had returned, noticing Lily was in Ars arms hugging him, and when he approached her he saw her red eyes.

"What happened to her?" he asked worried, Ars simply laughed it off and explained, "She tripped and fell on the way back, after running around everywhere, and yeah her akuma no mi is probably not a logia" that slightly surprised Rook, until now everyone thought it was a logia.

While they were walking towards Koral, the person in question came outside to investigate who had arrived, she waved at them and when she came close she saw Lily red eyes. Ars explained what had happened like he did to Rook and then showed the wound to Koral so she could go and disinfect it. After a while Koral came back out with Lily in her arms. Lily now had a bandage with a small bow on hit. Seeing Ars looking at her, Koral laughed and said.

" Don't worry, It's nothing, in a few days she should be completely recovered. " 

With that, Ars relaxed, then Koral and Rook started making the next meal, and he went to store the map and then came back to help .

A little bit later they heard a sound coming in their direction and looked at it, it was Oak and Tom with a lot of materials, so Rook and Ars got up and went to help.

" Tahahahaha, we appreciate your intentions but we don't need help, your majesty, " Tom laughed.

Ars rolled his eyes, but everyone else broke out laughing. While Ars had yet to use GAIA, because he didn't know what kind of world he wanted to create, he was now inclined to choose a planet with 40 percent land and 60 water.
