ONE PIECE: FRAGMENT EXTRACTION SYSTEM

Chapter 7: CHAPTER 7

For seven days straight, Leone roamed the depths of Mt. Colubo, training tirelessly from dawn to dusk.

He had a singular goal: to hone his strength and gather resources for his journey ahead.

Whenever exhaustion set in, Leone would immediately consume a green, all-natural, side-effect-free stamina pill, instantly replenishing his energy and returning to peak condition. The sensation of renewed vigor filled him with excitement.

With his stamina restored, Leone devoted himself to practicing his laser beam attacks and high-speed movement techniques. Even the swift and deadly Great Ape, known for its agility, was no match for him—it was utterly outclassed and defeated without resistance.

Not only that, but Leone noticed that his punching speed was increasing at an astonishing rate. On the first day, he could throw a few hundred punches per second, but by the seventh day, that number had skyrocketed to thousands. In just a week, his strength had multiplied tenfold!

This meant that Leone had finally reached the level where he could set sail as a pirate, following in the footsteps of Monkey D. Luffy and venturing into the Grand Line.

Bang! Bang! Bang!—

Thousands of punches landed in an instant, moving at the speed of light. Before the beast could react, it collapsed lifelessly on the spot.

"The Red-Haired Tiger? Hah! I thought it was supposed to be powerful. Two laser beams and a speed-of-light punch, and it was done for!" Leone scoffed as he looked down at the defeated beast.

The Red-Haired Tiger was one of the first creatures he had learned to hunt after arriving in the world of One Piece. It was feared among the hunters of Mt. Colubo for its extraordinary speed, nearly impenetrable hide, and razor-sharp claws capable of slicing through steel. Among the mountain's many beasts, it was the undisputed apex predator.

Even if all the hunters in Windmill Village joined forces, they wouldn't stand a chance against it.

But now—

A mere two laser beams from Leone, followed by half a second of relentless light-speed punches, had put the fearsome predator down for good.

"Seven days… and even the Red-Haired Tiger couldn't stand against me. Mt. Colubo no longer offers a challenge."

"It's time to set sail!"

"Let's check how many stamina pill fragments I have left."

Leone focused his mind and accessed his system.

Stamina Pill Fragments (6859/30)

"Over 200 stamina pills! With this many, I'm all set!"

Over the past week, he had stockpiled more than 200 stamina pills—a fortune for someone about to embark on an adventure at sea.

"Alright, time to head back to the village!"

On the road to Windmill Village, Leone carried the massive corpse of the Red-Haired Tiger with ease. The beast weighed several tons, but in his hands, it felt as light as a feather. His increased strength made such feats effortless.

"Maggie, I'm back!"

He arrived at the entrance of the tavern, tossing the heavy carcass onto the ground with a resounding boom, sending dust into the air.

"Leo, did you really take this thing down yourself? That's incredible!" Maggie exclaimed in amazement as she stepped outside and saw the massive beast.

Leone grinned. "Heh, it was nothing! Maggie, help me find someone to prepare this beast—I want to treat the entire village to a feast!"

Ever since he arrived in the One Piece world, Windmill Village had welcomed him with open arms. The villagers, especially the hunters, had taught him essential survival skills, strengthening his body and ensuring he could thrive in this unfamiliar world.

Now that he had grown stronger, it was only right to give back to those who had supported him.

"Alright!" Maggie said with a warm smile.

Tonight, the village would celebrate, and soon, Leone would set sail toward his destiny.

At night, the tavern in Foosha Village hosted a lively feast around a bonfire. Large beasts were butchered and roasted over open flames, filling the air with the rich scent of grilled meat. Almost all the villagers had gathered, drinking and celebrating together.

Leone laughed and chatted with them, clinking glasses and downing beer with enthusiasm.

"Old Casca, you used to build boats, right?" Leone asked as he approached an elderly man wearing a black turban, taking a swig from his mug.

The old man, his face slightly flushed from alcohol, let out a burp. "Leo, what's this about? Planning to set sail?"

"Of course! You remember Luffy, right? His bounty shot up to 300 million berries after what happened at Enies Lobby—how amazing is that? I want to follow in his footsteps and become a great pirate too!"

Leone vividly recalled the uproar after the Enies Lobby incident—Luffy had directly challenged the World Government, and as a result, his bounty skyrocketed to 300 million berries. Not just him, but the entire Straw Hat crew saw their bounties rise dramatically.

Now that Leone had gathered enough strength, it was time to set sail, chase adventure on the Grand Line, and witness the wonders of the New World.

Casca chuckled. "You want to be a pirate? You'd better think twice. The Marines are cracking down harder than ever—get yourself caught, and you'll end up in Impel Down before you know it."

"See that beast over there? I took it down with one punch! Don't worry, old man, I'll become even stronger than Luffy!" Leone declared confidently.

Casca took another sip of his drink and nodded. "Well, if you've made up your mind, I won't stop you. But you'll need a proper ship to leave the East Blue. A decent vessel will cost at least a million berries."

Leone frowned. A million berries was an astronomical sum for him. Even after living in this world for so long, he barely had any savings. Hunting wild beasts only fetched a few thousand berries per carcass—he'd have to hunt thousands just to afford a ship, assuming he could even find buyers willing to pay that much.

Seeing Leone's troubled expression, Casca smirked. "Since you treated me to meat today, I'll give you some advice."

Leone's eyes brightened. "Let's hear it, old man!" He raised his mug for another toast.

"It's simple," Casca said. "You say you're strong now, right? Why not go after bounties? The Marines put up wanted posters all the time. Just pick a pirate, take them down, and cash in the reward."

Leone's eyes widened. Of course!

With his current strength, why not hunt pirates for their bounties? Many pirates had rewards in the millions or even tens of millions. Luffy himself had a bounty of over 100 million before Enies Lobby. There was no faster way to make money than this!

"There's a place in the Goa Kingdom where pirates gather—Central Street. Some of them are pretty tough, even giving the Marines trouble. If you think you've got what it takes, head over there. Take down a pirate, collect the bounty, and do the world a favor while you're at it." Casca suggested.

Goa Kingdom's Central Street was crawling with wanted pirates?

To Leone, hearing this felt like discovering a treasure map.

"Old Casca, you're a lifesaver! From now on, if you ever want meat, just come find me at the tavern—I'll make sure you eat your fill! Hahaha!"
