One Piece: Gold And Fire

"Where is she ?" Asked the pirate in front of Ragna with red eyes while the smell of booze coming out of his mouth.

After learning that Ragna had seen the prisoner, he got more suspicious about Ragan.

"She has to be on the ship, where else is there to run ?" Shouted Ragna back, he had to divert attention from him now or things could go bad for him.

However, the commotion was getting bigger as time goes, almost every pirate on the ship was now running around to find that girl who Ragna help escape.

Even Ragna was getting worried seeing how big of a commotion this was, if this continued then sooner or later his identity will come out in light.

"Oi, who is this. Never seen him here before." And what Ragna feared happened. While the earlier man was still half drunk to even recognize Ragna not someone from being his crew, the next person wasn't.

'Guess like the conflict is unavoidable.' Ragna gritted his teeth, ready to take out his sword anytime.

"Vice Captain, we just found a few men completely unconscious and looted, even their clothes are stolen." Shouted another pirate who came.

'Vice Captain.' Ragna's eyes widen. This man who came after the drunken man was actually the vice captain of the ship.

He was a rough looking man who wore a bandana on his head, was wearing white pants and an open white jacket with rising dragons made on both side of the jacket with orange shirt inside. He also carried a strange-looking weapon, black rods with large black iron ball on one end.

"Like the one he's wearing." Asked the man with narrowed eyes on Ragna.

"Aye, they are similar." The other private nodded.

"Boy, tell me honestly who you are or you'll be responsible for what happens next." The man said after getting a confirmation from his subordinate.

"Sigh, guess I gotta make a run for it then." Ragna sighed and with a flash took out his sword, seeing most of the pirates still scattered around, looking for the girl, this was his only chance to break out of here and run.

"I'm Gin, the vice captain of the Krieg Pirates. Do you really think you can run away under our noses after boarding our ship? Do you even have any idea who is our captain? He's a pirate with the bounty of 17 million beli. You are as good as a dead boy." Shouted the now-named Gin as he launched at Ragna.

Ragna easily dodge and then cracked his knuckles as the other pirates als surrounded him. He had been caught, but that didn't mean he planned to go down easily. Though his first plan was to still ran away over fighting to the death but he gonna show these scums who he really is.

The moment the first pirate lunged at him with a sword, Ragna dodged to the side, grabbing the man's wrist and twisting it until he dropped the weapon. Without hesitation, he knocked the pirate out with a single punch.

More pirates charged and Gin just stood to observe how strong Ragna was, after his first attack was easily dodged by Ragna, he knew that Ragna wasn't an ordinary person so he plan to attack only when the time was right after gather info on him.

Ragna moved between the attacks, dodging while also striking back in a way that he could achieve most efficiency. Beating or killing wasn't just enough, he had to do it fast without losing much of his physical power if possible. A pirate swung an axe at him—Ragna ducked, grabbed the man's collar, and threw him into three others. Another tried to stab him from behind, but Ragna caught the attack, twisted the pirate's arm, and slammed him into the deck.

Only few seconds but the pirates realized that the person they were fighting was no ordinary man.

Gin on the side finally stepped forward with his metal tonfa in hand. He knew that beside him and Pearl, the man with a giant iron shield attached to his chest and sides, no one else was Ragna's match. Of course not counting the captain here.

"Boy, I have to say that you're strong," Gin said. "But you're not getting off this ship alive."

Pearl pounded his metal chest plate. "Yeah! I'm invincible!"

Ragna narrowed his eyes. Knowing that Gin guy being the Vice Captain had to be strong but the big guy with shield, he had no idea. He looked funny but since coming to this world he has started to no judge others by their looks.

Looks could be deceiving, especially in this world.

Gin struck first, swinging his tonfa with incredible speed. Ragna dodged again but this time it wasn't as easy as the metal weapon grazed his shoulder. He countered with a powerful punch, but Gin blocked it with his tonfa, retaliating with a swift kick. Ragna absorbed the hit and twisted around, elbowing Gin in the ribs.

Pearl charged, trying to tackle Ragna. His armor made him slow though, 'High on defence but not much mobile,' Ragna rolled his eyes.

Ragna avoided the attack and instintively his hands went for his gu to directly shot this cheap captain America on head, only to realized that he didn't had his gun with him right now so he delivered a powerful roundhouse kick to Pearl's helmet. Pearl stumbled but laughed. "That won't work on me!"

"Tsk," Ragna spat, he knew that it won't work. If only he was a master of Iron Cutting now. That could have give him such a big advantage here.

A swordsman who can cut anything he wants while his sword cuts nothing which he doesn't is a master of Iron Cutting. That stage of sword mastery is hard to ahieve and only at that level one could really call himself in the leagues of real swordsman.

Tashigi grinded all this info in his head while he was in Logue town. Not finding any short way to handle this guy, Ragna just decided to avoid him, since he was slow enough, he could just runaway.

However, Gin was also there.

The vice-captain rushed Ragna with a flurry of strikes. Ragna dodged and countered, hitting Gin's stomach with a brutal punch before Pearl coud catch up. Gin coughed, but he didn't fall. Instead, he swung both tonfa at Ragna's head.

Ragna ducked.

Ragna could cut him down right now but he was the vice captain, if the captain of this ship won't come after him even after he made a mess of his ship then he surely would if he kill his second in command. So for the sake of getting out of here with Nami without any complications, he kept his hand.

And soon found an opening in Gin's stand to exploit it and send him flying back.

Pearl was still slow which gave Ragna enough time to run. There were more pirates there for sure but for Ragna, it was similar as an clear deck. With little to no resistance he got out of the ship and started to run away.

He has yet to find Nami and then get out of this place ASAP.

But of course the Pirates weren't ready to just let him go.

"Go after him, this is our secret base, if anyone knew about it than Captain would be furious," Gin shouted, knowing what could happen if Marines knew this was where Krieg pirate's base was.

Ragna ran through the trees, his breath steady despite the chase. The pirates were still behind him, shouting and searching, but he made sure to lead them away from his ship. It's not like he could go to the ship in the first place, Nami was still missing. And no matter how much he wanted to get out of there, his priority was finding Nami.

He checked every possible hiding spot, scanning the area for any signs of her. But she was nowhere to be found. His frustration grew.

"If she wasn't on the island, there was only one place she could be—the ship." He muttered to himself seeing those pirates no longer chasing him. He did check the ship and she wasn't there, but seeing that she wasn't in the island anywhere, that was the only place he could think she would be.

Making his way back, he finally saw his ship in the distance and even Nami on top of it, he sigh in relief seeing her but his relief turned to shock when he noticed something strange. The ship was moving.

It was sailing away.

Ragna's eyes widened. He could see Nami at the helm, steering. He waved his arms and shouted, "Nami! Stop the ship!"

No response.

He ran closer, yelling again. "Nami! It's me! Stop the ship!"

Still, nothing.

Frustrated, he cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted louder, his voice carrying over the waves. "NAMI! WHERE ARE YOU GOING? STOP!"

This time, she finally turned back. But then Ragna saw something in Nami's hand which made his eyes widen.

"Bastard, don't call me." She shouted and then a bang sound came...

Ragna paused, he saw a bullet hole on the ground near him, shocking him becuase the one who tried to shoot him was none other than Nami, who he looking for and worried about all this time.

"Nami..." he look at the girl with orange hair getting away, her hair looked even more orange in the setting sun.

"Why ?" He shouted.

And the only response he got was Nami turning around while showcasing his money which he had in his room.

"Becuase I'm A thief, who steals from the likes of you scum..."
