One Piece: Gold And Fire

Ragna stood frozen as he watched his ship sail away, his mind struggling to process what had just happened. Nami had taken his ship and his money.

He could only stand there in a daze seeing the ship sail away, feeling betrayed until he came back to his senses...

For a few seconds, he couldn't move. Then, his body tensed. His fists clenched so hard that his nails dug into his palm. His shock turned into fury.

"So that's why she came aboard, did she know that I'm holding on to that much money all this time, Fuck…" he muttered under his breath.

He didn't care how far the ship had gone. He was going to chase her down, even if it meant swimming across the sea. His feet moved before he even thought about it, sprinting toward the shore.

But before he could reach the water, a loud sound stopped him from moving, the sound was of a gunshot, however, this time it wasn't Nami who pulled the trigger.

"You're not going anywhere, bastard."

Ragna stopped. He turned slowly, his sharp eyes locking onto the source of the voice.

A man stood before him, towering and wrapped in a battle armor made our of gold. He had blue hairs, and was looking at Ragna like he wanted to rip him apart. The Aura this man who giving off was enough for Ragna to know that this person was strong.

Beside him were Gin and Pearl, the man was panting like a dead dog, maybe he ran all the way here with that much weight.

While the two were strong but Ragna didn't gave too much attention to them he knew that they weren't a threat, he was only glaring at the man in the golden Armor. He was strong, he could tell. Definitely the captain of this pirate crew.

'Damit', He didn't had time for this right now, he looked back only to see Nami sailing away slowly.

"You thought you could humiliate my crew and escape Don Krieg that easily? You're not leaving this island alive." Now named Don Krieg shouted with veins popping up on his head.

Ragna can't help but grit his teeth and finally turn back to the three pirates. With them here, there was no way he could go after Nami. For the first time he felt fustration of betrayal within him. He knew Nami wasn't a crewmate but at least he considered her somewhat of a friend so why...

"Captain, let us take care of him, last time the boy ran away from us, I promise it won't happen this time..." This was Gin, who looked at Ragna like he was a dead man.

"Yeah, let's us crush him!" Pearl said and rushed at Ragna with all his speed.

Ragna saw the shelf man coming with his head still down, his muscles twitched and instead of reaching out for his sword, he made a fist.

*Crack...

It was almost like Ragna had vanished from his place, he disappeared and appeared in front of the coming Pearl, when a loud sound came.

It was an shattering sound, things took place too quickly but by the time both Krieg and Gin realized what happen, Pearl was lying near their legs, completely knocked out with his biggest shield broken and shattered into pieces while Ragna stood further from them with his fist dripping blood to the ground while his head was still down.

"I'm in a bad mood, how about we postpone this fight for later," Ragna said, with anger over Nami still bubbling over him.

In that anger, he even smashed pearl at the cost of breaking his own hand. He use too much power and hurt himself.

Ragna exhaled, calming himself as he focus back at Krieg and Gin, before giving a glance at his sailing ship getting away.

"Bastard, do you really think you can beat me that easily. Gin, go and kill this son of a bitch, be quick or you too are just like Pearl, no use to me." Krieg shouted, his eyes were red with anger upon hearing how much Ragna was looking down on him. He didn't care about his crew, that wasn't Don Krieg who boast to conquer all sea under him.

And at this Ragna knew that he had no other option. He had to fight.

Gin lunged in, swinging his tonfas at Ragna's head. Ragna ducked under the first strike and blocked the second with his forearm. But Gin was fast—he twisted his body and delivered a strong knee to Ragna's stomach.

Ragna grunted he was too much distracted and that caused him to take the hit.

He caught Gin's leg and threw him backwards with brute force. Gin rolled across the ground but quickly got back up, rushing at Ragna.

Ragna didn't have time to response before Gin was once again upon him. However, this time around Ragna was planning on going easy on him. Earlier he went easy and didn't draw his blade but no longer. Just as Gin came close to him, his hand directly went to his side.

"Unshethe".

In an instant his swords came out, the blade was so fast that Gin couldn't even see it's shadow before his chest was cut open, and blood gushed out of his body.

"Buob...

Blood came out from Gin's mouth as he look at Ragna in disbelief, he didn't even saw that attack coming, he only saw indifference in Ragna's eyes before he fell to the ground, completely unconscious.

"Shuh..." Ragna left out a breath as this move too much concentration to pull off.

He look back at his ship which was nothing more than a small dot from far away and sigh, he knew that he can't chase it no matter how much hurry he do, so he just decided to handle this fight without making any mistakes. After all the strongest opponent had yet to make a move.

"Useless, Gin even you are nothing but garbage, can't even taken care of a small kid like him." Roared Krieg.

"You, boy what's your name ?" Krieg asked.

"Ragna."

"You are strong, what do you think, do you wanna come and join my pirate ship."

To Ragna's surprise, Krieg said this, completely taking him aback by the offer.

"Wha..." He was saying but he soon realized that Krieg didn't mean what he just said, he was just distracting Ragna.

Krieg wasted no time seeing Ragna distracted, raising his massive golden cannon and firing a blast straight at Ragna. The explosion erupted, sending dust and debris flying everywhere.

But Ragna had already moved. He dashed to the side, avoiding the blast, unlike normal people his reaction time was on another level. He closed the distance between them in an instant and sent a powerful kick to Krieg's side.

CLANG!

The attack barely did anything against the golden armor, but Krieg still stumbled back slightly. Though Krieg's armor was good but Ragna had more physical strength.

Krieg's eyes narrowed. "You little—"

Before he could finish, Ragna was already moving again. He ducked under another cannon blast and sprinted toward Krieg. Krieg swung a massive spiked shield at him, but Ragna jumped over it and landed a solid kick to Krieg's helmet.

BANG!

Krieg staggered back, growling. He fired a barrage of bullets, but Ragna weaved through them with his sword, he to instinctively wanted to shoot back but he remember his gun was on the ship, with Nami, 'Tch...'

Closing the distance again he leapt into the air and delivered a crushing punch to Krieg's face, sending the warlord skidding backwards.

Krieg roared in anger. He activated his hidden weapons, launching chains and spikes from his armor. Ragna dodged, but one chain wrapped around his arm, holding him in place. Ragna did try to break out but it was iron chain and not that easy to break.

Krieg grinned. "You're finished!"

He pulled Ragna toward him, preparing to crush him with his spiked gauntlet.

Having no other option Ragna ended up running toward Krieg. He used the momentum to jump and flip over the pirate's head. As he flipped, he twisted his body and yanked the chain with all his strength.

Krieg's eyes widened as he was pulled forward, completely off balance.

Ragna landed behind him and, without wasting a second, delivered a devastating blow to Krieg's jaw.

"Unshethe..."

BOOM!

Krieg's helmet cracked. He stumbled, trying to regain his balance, but Ragna wasn't done. He launched multiple sword strikes aiming for Krieg's open spots. That armour of his was completely protecting him from any of Ragna's attacks. It was a tough armour.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

With one final swing, he sent Krieg crashing to the ground. But still after putting many cut marks on that armour, Ragna wasn't able to cut it.

"You, you gonna pay for this." At that time Krieg who saw his favorite armour was ruined, was furious.

Though the armour still held up but it lacked its earlier shine due to many cut marks and dents on it.

"The hell, what is that thing made of." Ragna asked... though he could see that it was golden but he earlier didn't believe that it was gold but now he thinks otherwise.

Many times Krieg blocks his sword with the diamond placed on his hand like a shield. There was no way that a fake diamond could do that, that means that thing was original. And so could be the armour.

Ragna gritted his teeth, breathing heavily as he wiped the blood trickling down his forehead.

He was already tried from earlier and now fighting with Krieg and others was too much for him who haven't even sleep for last 20 hours or so.

'Damnit Nami, you wanted my money I got that, you're a thief but what problem you had with my sleep...' Ragna muttered with irritation.
