ONE PIECE: THE GREAT VOYAGE

Chapter 61: CHAPTER 62

Valley of the Gods – The Clash of Legends

Despite the combined pressure of two legendary figures, Charlotte Linlin and the Golden Lion Shiki, she stood unfazed.

Both of them wore expressions of shock as they turned their gazes toward Caesar.

Unknowingly, he had risen to their level.

"Well, well, well..."

Linlin's wide grin stretched across her face as she studied Caesar's crewmates.

"Those two brats are also with you, huh? So, what now? You planning to challenge us?"

Her eyes flickered toward Gliner, standing at Caesar's right.

Gnali, another formidable presence, stood beside them—his Conqueror's Haki surging.

It was truly a pity. Two such exceptional warriors, both possessing Haoshoku Haki, had slipped through their grasp and never joined the Rocks Pirates.

"Ku la la la la..."

A deep, booming laugh echoed.

Whitebeard, Edward Newgate, let out his signature laugh, his towering frame radiating raw power.

"What an interesting decision!"

Suddenly, an overwhelming force burst from his body.

BOOM!

His Conqueror's Haki exploded outward, colliding with the others'. The shockwave sent weaker warriors sprawling, and even those with considerable strength staggered.

The sky darkened. The swirling clouds above the island twisted violently, stretching for miles as if the heavens themselves were responding to the clash.

Lightning crackled, thick and violet-black, streaking downward like the wrath of the gods.

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

As Whitebeard joined the fray, Kaido, Gol D. Roger, Silvers Rayleigh, Gliner, and others instinctively unleashed their own Haoshoku.

Even a CP0 operative standing beside Garp couldn't resist—his own Conqueror's Haki surged forth, unwilling to be outdone.

"These bastards!"

Garp, seated on the shattered ground, clenched his fists. His teeth ground together as veins bulged along his arms.

The sheer magnitude of this confrontation was beyond comprehension—more than a dozen of the world's strongest warriors unleashing their willpower simultaneously.

The remnants of the Valley of the Gods, already crumbling, now trembled violently. Land, already fractured into several pieces, shattered further under the onslaught of invisible forces.

Above, the churning clouds that had covered the sky moments ago had now completely dissipated, replaced by a vast, chaotic field of crackling purple-black energy.

Lightning flashed non-stop.

"Boom... Boom..."

Even the sea was not spared. The ocean began to churn violently.

Waves surged, forming towering walls of water over 100 meters high. They crashed against the shore with deafening roars, only to be repelled by the sheer force emanating from the warriors standing on the island.

The result? A monstrous surge of energy that pushed the waves outward, forming titanic tsunamis rolling into the distance.

More than ten top-tier warriors clashed, their Conqueror's Haki merging into a cataclysmic force, shaking the heavens and the earth.

[76]The Comprehensive Retreat – The End of the Valley of the Gods Incident

The sky turned black. Thunder roared. Reality itself seemed to distort under the crushing weight of so many powerful wills.

"BOOM!"

Then—an earth-shattering explosion.

It was as if the entire world had just cracked open.

The deafening noise echoed across the seas, shaking the eardrums of every warrior present. Some stumbled, momentarily dazed by the sheer intensity of the sound.

The resulting shockwave spread out like an unstoppable tide. It wasn't mere wind—it was a force akin to countless sharp blades, slicing through the battlefield.

The remnants of the Valley of the Gods could take no more.

The shattered islands, already on the brink, began to sink rapidly into the sea.

The once-mighty landmass was being consumed by the ocean, piece by piece.

Far in the distance, the approaching Marines—Admiral Sengoku, Zefa, Tsuru, and others—halted in their advance. The chaotic storm of Haoshoku Haki had reached them, forcing them to shield themselves against its relentless onslaught.

"Boom..."

Even their experienced bodies felt the sting—like blades cutting into their skin. Some of the weaker soldiers wavered, their heads spinning. A few nearly lost consciousness, barely managing to stay upright.

Even the indomitable Fleet Admiral Kong and other high-ranking officers momentarily hesitated in mid-air, momentarily stalled by the residual force.

Among the weaker ranks, some Marines outright collapsed. Their bodies, unable to withstand the pressure, crumpled as if their very souls were being crushed.

Then, just as suddenly as it came, the overwhelming force began to fade.

After ten agonizing seconds, the pressure lifted.

Those who endured were left drenched in sweat, their faces pale, eyes wide with horror.

"Damn it..."

One of the Marine commanders clenched his fists, watching as the pirates prepared to retreat.

"They're already in this state, and they still plan to escape?"

Steel-blooded determination filled the Admiral's eyes. This was their chance.

The pirates of the Valley of the Gods were weakened.

They could strike now—end it here.

"Everyone, move out! Don't stop!"

"The weaker forces follow me!"

"Sengoku! Zefa! Take the lead!"

With a thunderous command, the Fleet Admiral surged forward, breaking into a full-speed charge.

Behind him, Sengoku, Zefa, Tsuru, and the elite Marines followed suit, their powerful auras rising to counter the lingering Haoshoku in the air.

"Don't let them escape!"

Somewhere further back, confirming that their troops were steady, Kong also resumed his charge, pushing his strength to its limit.

Stepping on the air with Moonwalk, he shot forward like a meteor, leading an entire wave of elite Marine warriors.

The Navy was coming in full force.

A sight that would have terrified any ordinary pirate.

The Great Escape

Back on the sinking island, Whitebeard, Roger, Caesar, Charlotte Linlin—every remaining powerhouse sensed the approaching threat.

Through their keen Kenbunshoku Haki, they could already perceive the distant figures rushing across the sky toward them.

Some, with exceptional vision, could even make out their approaching forms.

"Ku la la la la..."

Whitebeard's laughter rumbled like an earthquake.

"This place is going under."

The others understood immediately.

The Navy was coming. Staying meant certain capture—or worse.

Charlotte Linlin grinned, calling forth her Homie, Zeus. She leapt onto the living thundercloud.

Kaido followed, landing beside her with a heavy thud.

"Give me a ride, Linlin."

She let out a roaring laugh.

Nearby, Caesar conjured a massive floating deck, lifting himself and his crew into the air.

"Newgate! Let's move!"

Whitebeard grinned.

"Ku la la la... I'll take your ship this time, Caesar!"

With that, he joined the retreat.

Meanwhile, Golden Lion Shiki smirked, forming a massive stone platform with his Devil Fruit powers. His most loyal men leapt aboard without hesitation.

"Jihahahaha! The Navy's too early for this fight!"

Shiki laughed wildly, looking down at the approaching Marine forces.

"See you another time, bastards!"

With a surge of power, his floating island shot into the distance.

One by one, the greatest pirates of the era vanished.

The Valley of the Gods had fallen.

And thus, the curtain closed on one of the most legendary battles in history.
