Chapter 202
The unprecedented rainfall in Arabasta sent the populace into a frenzy.
They had never experienced such a thing.
In a land perpetually parched, their thirst for water was unlike anything other nations could comprehend.
The rain poured down; the people cheered, shouting "Dawn Bird!" In their hearts, they believed a true god had descended upon them.
Arabasta, a land forever bound to the desert, was revitalized by Ryuya.
More importantly, the Dawn Bird organization became an object of widespread aspiration.
Any religious scholar would understand Ryuya's actions; he was cultivating faith.
Once his actions became ingrained as faith, Ryuya would become a god in the minds of these people.
With this expanding faith, he could one day change the world with a single word.
Ryuya was cautious.
While the Celestial Dragon's secret weapon, Uranus, remained shrouded in mystery, he focused on strengthening his own power, hence his meticulous planning.
Having secured Arabasta, the Noah's Ark arrived. Ryuya and Kuina remained to consolidate their control, though Ryuya wouldn't waste much time. He shifted his consciousness to his clone in the Goa Kingdom.
—
Goa Kingdom:
Ryuya, his illusion disguised as King Sterry, sat upon the throne, surveying his ministers.
"Your Majesty, the plans you've ordered are proceeding smoothly and yielding excellent results!"
"Your Majesty's popularity among the people has reached an unprecedented peak, surpassing even the previous king!"
"Your Majesty, under your leadership, our Goa Kingdom will become incredibly prosperous!"
He listened to their flattery with disdain.
These methods were effective, but without sufficient power to deter other nations, they remained vulnerable.
"Are there any particularly open spaces within the kingdom?" Ryuya asked his ministers.
"Your Majesty, there's an empty plaza near the gardens.
We're unsure of your intentions, Your Majesty."
"To create something that will make this nation stronger," Ryuya declared, rising from his throne.
The ministers followed him to the plaza.
Ryuya spread his arms and addressed the system, "System, deploy the previously stored mechanical factory here in the plaza."
A massive, futuristic mechanical factory materialized before them.
The ministers were stunned, unable to believe that King Sterry—or rather, Ryuya—could accomplish this.
Ryuya offered no explanation, ordering materials from the royal treasury and dumping them into the factory.
The factory sprang to life, producing a highly advanced mechanical soldier in moments—nearly indistinguishable from a human, except for its metallic sheen.
The system indicated this was an upgradeable model, currently capable of producing only basic mechanical soldiers.
Ryuya planned to upgrade it to produce peace-keeping machines resembling bears.
Before the ministers could react, Ryuya entered the factory, beginning modifications.
The ministers were completely astonished.
"Is this really our king?"
"This is unbelievable!"
"It seems... His Majesty is omnipotent?!"
This was a strange turn of events.
King Sterry had previously been perceived as violent and exploitative.
But after recent events, they saw him as completely transformed.
Soon, Ryuya emerged from the factory.
Though he felt no fatigue, he simulated sweat as a human would.
After the modifications, the factory could now produce mechanical soldiers nearly equivalent to the advanced peace-keeping machines the navy would soon develop.
Ryuya immediately ordered more materials into the factory.
The factory hummed to life, soon producing a large, complex mechanical soldier.
Suddenly, a soldier rushed in, kneeling before Ryuya.
"Your Majesty! The revolutionaries… they've returned!"
Ryuya's brow furrowed, then smoothed.
"The revolutionaries are back?
They think we're defenseless without the navy's support?
Let them experience the might of our mechanical army!"
He commanded the mechanical soldiers, "Proceed to the battlefield. Prepare for a counterattack!"
The mechanical soldiers marched out, their built-in friend-or-foe system instantly identifying friend and enemy.
Upon seeing the mechanical soldiers, the revolutionaries were stunned.
"What in the world is that?!"
