Pokemon Adventure Journeys

(One again, Mew along with Eevee, Pikachu, Misty, Brock, and Tomo continue on their journey.)

(Pikachu and Eevee are fast asleep on Mew's shoulder or backpack.)

(Suddenly, the group sees an old man with long white hair covering his eyes and a long beard.)

(He is wearing a green robe with a blue jewel necklace.)

(The old man sees them and says.)

old man: "Groovy! Greetings, children of the universe."

Misty: "Hello. Are you all by yourself?"

(Misty asks)

???: "I have my music,"

(The man says, brings out a yellow flute that has a Pokeball on it.)

(Soon, the man begins to play music, much to the friend's delight.)

(Soon, the Pokemon begins to wake up as they let out yawns.)

Mew: "Wow!"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "That was nice!"

(Misty says.)

(Then the old man says.)

???: "Now that you've heard my music, you have to give me some food."

(Soon, the group becomes confused.)

Misty: "We thought it was free!"

(Misty replies.)

???: "Isn't my flute playing at least worth a sandwich?"

(The old man asks.)

(Mew then says.)

Mew: "We'd like to give you something to eat, but we don't even have anything to eat ourselves."

Tomo: "No food at all,"

(Tomo adds.)

(The old man asks.)

???: "Not even a cookie?"

Brock: "Cookie? We don't even have crumbs,"

(Brock says.)

???: "Another free concert. Well, guess you should hit the road, then,"

(The old man says.)

(The group then heads off, but because they haven't eaten anything, they feel that they don't have the energy to move.)

(Mew groans.)

Mew: "I'm so hungry!"

Tomo: "Tomo very hungry,"

(Tomo says.)

Brock: "I'm about to collapse,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "We haven't had anything to eat since yesterday,"

(Misty says.)

(Suddenly, Eevee notices something and points out.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee." (Look over there.)

(The group turns their heads to see a town is up ahead.)

(Meanwhile, Team Rocket isn't far from behind and is listening to the old hippie too.)

(When he's done playing, the hippie says.)

hippie: "Pennies for the piper? Food be nice, too."

(However, Team Rocket isn't buying it.)

Jessie: "You stop people, play some weird song,"

(Jessie says.)

James: "Then you beg for food?"

(James replies.)

(Meowth comments.)

Meowth: "You should be begging for music lessons."

(Team Rocket soon walks away, chucking over Meowth's comment.)

(The old hippie says.)

hippie: "Bad vibes. Those dudes should at least respect their elders."

(Meanwhile, Mew and her friends have arrived at the town.)

Mew: "We finally made it,"

(Mew says.)

Misty: "At last, we can get something to eat,"

(Misty happily says.)

(Pikachu happily says.)

Pikachu: "Pikachu." (At long last.)

Eevee: "Vee." (Yeah.)

(Eevee replies.)

(Soon, the group first stop at a bread bakery, but they find the shelves and boxes to be empty.)

Misty: "There's no bread left!"

(Misty says, shocked.)

(Mew then calls out.)

Mew: "Excuse me! We'd like to buy some bread, please!"

Tomo: "Bread please!"

(Tomo adds.)

(Just then, the baker arrives at the window.)

baker: "What's that? A customer?"

Mew: "We'd like to buy some bread, please,"

(Mew says.)

baker: "I'm sorry, we don't have any bread left,"

(The baker says.)

Misty: "No bread at a bakery,"

(Misty says in tears.)

(Soon, the group checks the market place to find the shelves, boxes, and stores are all empty.)

Brock: "There aren't any vegetables, either!"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Not even some fruits or berries,

(Mew adds.)

(Misty whines.)

Misty: "I'll eat anything!"

(Mew and her friends ask around, but every store and home they've been to has no ingredients to make anything, or any type of food.)

Brock: "I can't believe it. An entire town with absolutely no food anywhere,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "And I'm starving,"

(Misty says.)

Mew: "It seems that everyone else in town is too,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, an old man approaches them.)

old man: "My friends, what's the matter?"

Brock: "We've been looking all over for food in this town, but, there's nothing to eat,"

(Brock says.)

Misty: "We're so hungry we can hardly move,"

(Misty says, feeling tired.)

(Soon, the old man invites them to his home where he gives them food to eat.)

(Even the Pokemon are able to eat.)

Old man: "So you and your friends are on a Pokemon journey together,"

(The old man, who is actually the mayor of the town.)

(Then Misty asks.)

Misty: "What's wrong with this town? There's no bread in the bakery."

Brock: "And there aren't any vegetables at the market,"

(Brock says.)

Mew: "Not even any fruits or berries,"

(Mew adds.)

Mayor: "The water in the river has completely dried up, killing all our produce. So food in our town has become very, very hard to come by. It's hard enough to keep food for ourselves to eat,"

(The mayor says.)

(The group soon grows concerned to hear this.)

(This town sounds like it's in real trouble.)

(Seeing their expressions, the Mayor says.)

Mayor: "Oh, please, don't worry. Our family can live off our food stores for quite a while yet."

Misty: "But I don't remember the weather being any drier this year than it usually is,"

(Misty says.)

Brock: "It rained just like it always does,"

(Brock adds.)

Mayor: "It's not the rain,"

(The mayor says.)

(Soon, the Mayor shows them the river that is practically empty.)

Mayor: "This is the river that used to flow through our town. For some reason, it suddenly stopped running two weeks ago,"

(The mayor says.)

(Mew notices the plants drying up.)

Mew: "The plants! They're all dried up!"

Pikachu: "Pika pika," (How terrible.)

(Pikachu says.)

Mayor: "We can't produce wheat or vegetables. Our town's in real trouble,"

(The mayor says.)

Brock: "And you can't grow anything without water, can you?"

(Brock says.)

Mayor: "No. This is a serious problem,"

(The mayor says.)

Brock: "Could the source of the problem be somewhere upstream?

(Brock says.)

(Mew stands up and says.)

Mew: "Let's go check it out!"

(Then Misty says.)

Misty: "We have to pay your back for that delicious meal. We'll find out what the problem is."

Mew: "Mr. Mayor, we'll be back as soon as we can,"

(Mew says.)

Mayor: "I should warn you that no one dares go upstream anymore. There's no telling what you might find,"

(The Mayor says.)

Mew: "That's okay. We're always ready for anything!"

(Mew says.)

Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika! Eev!" (And how!)

(Pikachu and Eevee say.)
