Chapter 326: 326. Super Ancient Pokémon’s
On Nonexistent Island, previously known as the more popular Muscle Islam, although Ash missed the Pokémon Contest here, he still had a few good battle with Rocky and the other Pokémon Trainers here. Their strength were indeed pretty good, and Ash was able to earn a lot of his much needed Exchange Points from them.
Rocky and his friends were extremely surprised to find out who they battled was THE ASH, the Champion level mysterious Trainer that very rarely comes into the media spotlight.
Realizing who he truly was, they all wanted his autographs and wanted to know what kind of exercises he did to become so strong despite being so young.

Ash still much rather prefers the battle between Pokémon Trainers. Although the Pokémon Contest battles he was is before was also fun, it always felt like it is not the full version. And was also a Pokémon Trainer before he was a Pokémon Coordinator.
Without someone devastatingly strong like Ash in this Pokémon Contest, May lived up Ash's expectations and won the Nonexistent Island Pokémon Contest. This was also her third official Pokémon Contest Ribbon, and now she was only two away from getting the opportunity to participate in the Grand Festival, which needed five to participate.
But next, it was Ash's Mossdeeep City Gym challenge.
Before boarding the ship, Ash's multifunctional navigator that he got from the G-Men unexpectedly received a contact, and the contact person turned out to be someone he was very familiar with.
It was the Johto Region Champion, Kanto Region Final Elite 4 Memeber, Pokémon G-Men Leader, the Dragons Envoy!
Lance!
Brock, May and Max, who knew that Ash's PokéNav will only go off for the most important of matters, couldn't help but be at taken of and showing serious expressions, they all also realized that another massive incident must have happened, like Ash had told them to be ready of.
After hanging up from the call, Ash and his party decisively gave up taking a ship to Mosssdeep Coty and turned around and returned to the Pokemon Center here. Ash once again replaced all five Pokémon's on his personal except Pikachu, he couldn't use his special access to using more Pokémon's now, they needed to make sure this 100% happened before letting even Lance use more than 6 Pokémon's at once.
This time, it was a joint operation by the two strongest members of the Pokémon G-Men, which of course means they need their strongest Pokémon's to be ready.
You can never be too cautious!
Ash hated that 6 Pokémon rule so much. He could get more things done so much faster if he was able to carry even one more of his Pokémon's.
In addition, Ash also gently touched the eighth Poké Ball stored securely to his chest, along with the his sleeping Celebi.
This was his future Dragon God!
During this period of night, in the dead of night, he would summon Rayquaza and ride it high into the sky to bond and get a better connection with each other.
In the training night after night, the power of Ash's Rayquaza, an already very powerful Legendary Pokémon, was constantly awakening and strengthening further, and their Bond Value was also getting higher and higher as they spend more time together.
"It's up to you, Gyarados!"
The blood-red evil looking Gyarados was one of the strongest Pokémon's on Ash's current hand, but he was still far from the strength of his two longest and strongest companions, his Pikachu and his Charizard.
"This is one of Ash's strongest Pokémon?" May looked at the Gyarados in front of her, and couldn't help but be stunned, this was the first time she had seen it in real life, the others were all on screen. The blood-red appearance was like the appearance of an evil creature, the existence of this was like a dream—no, nightmare—coming through.
She had already met Charizard and was always was Pikachu and the other Legendary Pokémon's of Ahs, but this Shiny Gyarados was still a really amazing view for her.
"Are you guys ready? And one more time—are you two really need to go with me on this trip?" Ash said while looking at May and Max.
Even he himself didn't know the full extent of the crisis this time, if he could, he would be able to use more Pokémon's.
He knew Brock well to know that he was calm enough to at least protect himself. But if something unexpected happened to the two of them, how would he explain it to Norman and their mom?
"Of course we have to go together, I am also a Pokémon Trainer! I can definitely help you, we are lovers, Ash!" May was the first to jump on Gyarados' back, "Gyarados, I am May, please to meey you!"
Gyarados looks ferocious, but he smiles "kindly" at her. He knew that this was one of the women belonging to his master, and he will do anything he has to do to protect his master and his mates.
"Haha, here we go! The May Expedition Team will follow Pokémon G-Men Ash this time to perform a very special secret mission! What will be waiting in front of the May Expedition Team this time?"
May pretended her best to stay relaxed. Although she was scared, she wanted to stay next to Ash.
According to the information sent by Lance on their last call, Ash and his party were now headed towards the direction of Monsu Island, but on the way they saw a large strange red submarine slowly rising to the surface of the sea.
"Ash!"
May, who had been trying her best to look relaxed just now, suddenly exclaimed.
The mission target suddenly appeared in front of them. Since this was a red machine, this was most definitely belong to Team Magma's. This was indeed one of their highest levels of submarines.
"Gyarados, dive down!" Ash had already made his group put on their dive equipment, while he simply had a layer of powerful Psychic Barrier on his body.
They quickly but firmly grasped onto Gyarados' thick dragon scales, and slowly dived into the water. Now that the submarine began to rise to the ocean top, the group simply boarded it and followed after them. What they came upon after following them all the way was Team Magma's very large sea base.
Who knows why it took Lance, the Kanto Region Elite 4 and the Johto Region Champion, to find this place.
What were the people from the Hoenn League even doing?
Needing to constantly rely on people like Ash and Lance, who were from other regions, to rescue them?
Where was Steven and Wallace when you need them the most?
[Notice! They are too busy being gay!]
"Report, the third action team, the patrol mission has been completed!" The people on the submarine reported to a red-haired middle aged man in the base.
Then, that guy noticed Ash and his group, who were not even trying to hide. He had an unobstructed view from his place. From his position, he could take in everything in the entire space.
But the first, and one of the more important, steps of the mission of Ash and his team has been completed, they have found out the base location of the either the enemy Team Magma or Team Aqua's secret base.
Now that they were being looked at, Ash simply walked out with his group and faced the red-haired men.
"It's you!" Tabitha exclaimed when he saw Ash waking in with his cold expression, his face was still hurting after all this time.
Ash simply ignored his presence like he wasn't even there in the first place. Instead, he looked at the red-haired man and smiled calmly, "Are you the leader of the Team Magma, Maxie?"
Despite the ferocious growls from the several Mightyenas surrounding them, Ash still had his very calm and composed look, as if he knew that they can't do jack shit with him while his Pikachu was chilling in his shoulders. Even these big black dogs were not enough to defeat him, the human, not mention all of his strong Pokémon's.
"I didn't expect you to have heard of my name. Lets say that I'm flattered." In fact, Maxie didn't take Ash seriously at all.
He simple thought Ash was too young and arrogant. The rumors about him were just that—rumors.
And the only reason his Admin lost to him was because they had initially underestimated him, that's all.
He had a very high vision, focusing on the grand plan of expanding the land, and his target was the super-ancient Continent Pokémon, Groudon.
No matter how strong Ash was, he was still just a young Trainer that was all alone here. He had already invested Ash's travel companions after the second beating Tabitha got from him after underestimating him. Even if he was as strong as Tabitha claimed he was, how could he deal with all of Team Magma? How can he fight against the true power of nature under him?
But in Ash's own opinion, Maxie was just a coward with too much ambitions and too little power to back it up.
Much worse than Giovanni, at least he had the power to mostly back his talk up. Team Rocket was pretty much superior to Team Magma in every way, maybe less ambition, but that's it.
"I heard Tabitha say that you have interrupted our mission several times now, but now we are too busy to deal with you. Before the end of our grand plan, you gave to stay on our ship!"
While Maxie's and his Team Magma Grunts attention was attracted by Ash and his team. What they didn't notice was that a young lady wearing their team uniform took the opportunity to jump out of the submarine and go deeper into the base.
"I'm very sorry, Sir Maxie..."
Tabitha also wanted to remind Maxie about Ash's strength, but in fact he had already reported all these, but Maxie never took it to heart. Every time he said that it was his incompetence. Instead, he interrupted, "This doesn't matter now. What's the trend of those brutes of Team Aqua?"
"Yes!" Tabitha quickly suppressed his anxiety and replied, "I believe they should be snorkeling near here. At this point in time, there is no way to confirm whether or not they have set their base on Monsu Island!"
"That's right..." Maxie's eyes lit up. In his own opinion, it was those brutes in Team Aqua that were trying to stop his dreams of expending the land.
He never even considered the Hoenn League, they never tried to deal with him. In fact, they were even fearful of his power over the region's economy.
He could have never expected that at this moment, the young lady wearing the uniform of his Team Magma had already arrived in the secret room deep in the base and knocked the guard unconscious in a blow or two.
She then revealed her true face in the dark room.
She was none other than one of the Admins of Team Aqua, Shelly!
Opening the door after punching in a few codes, Shelly finally saw the ultra-ancient Pokémon their organization had dreamed of controlling for so long, Kyogre!
Moreover, the size of this Kyogre is a bit terrifying, at least twice the size described by Pokémon researchers such as Professor Oak and the Weather Institute in the Pokédex from all the materials they have gathered.
This was the sleeping super-ancient Kyogre that Team Magma accidentally found after searching through who knew how many ruins.
"Kyogre, I will free you now!"
