Pokémon: Rewriting Ash’s Legend

Chapter 305: Signing in at Lily of the Valley Island – Ultra-Luxurious Rewards!

After a long discussion with Mewtwo, Ash finally made his decision. Meanwhile, Delia had already finished packing.

"Ash, everything's ready. Are we heading home now?"

"Yeah, Mom. Things here are pretty much settled. Let me go call Cynthia."

That's right—this return trip wasn't just a mother and son heading home.

Misty, May, Anabel, and Dawn would all be visiting Pallet Town as guests.

Cynthia, too, had a scheduled visit to Kanto's Pallet Town to interview Professor Oak.

According to Cynthia, her grandmother—Professor Carolina—had something she needed to consult Professor Oak about.

As for why it couldn't be done over the phone?

Only a fool would ask that kind of question.

Ash wasn't a fool. He could see right through it, but he wasn't going to call her out. Friends don't do that.

It was clearly just an excuse.

If he exposed her, she'd probably get flustered and blow up…

Soon, the group arrived at the port on Lily of the Valley Island.

Ash had already discussed things with Steven Stone. The plan was to get a complete set of Mega Stones sorted first.

Steven was honestly impressed by how well Ash had handled the entire matter.

He had originally wanted to challenge Ash to a battle.

But after witnessing the terrifying strength of Ash's Mega Charizard and the others, he immediately lost that idea.

Ash's growth was simply monstrous.

Back when they fought, Ash wasn't even this powerful.

And now he had reached the level where he could suppress Regigigas?!

While they waited for Cynthia at the port, Ash was growing a bit restless inside.

Not just because of Cynthia…

But because he was waiting for the system's reward.

It was finally time!

"Ding! [Congratulations, Host! System sign-in function upgraded successfully!]"

"Ding! [Congratulations, Host! You've arrived at Lily of the Valley Island. Sign-in in progress…]"

"Ding! [Sign-in successful! Distributing rewards…]"

· Physique +5

· Charisma +5!

· System Space upgraded to 100m x 100m x 100m!

· System Space rules enhanced (can now store living creatures, excluding humans)!

· Reshiram's Ultimate DNA Splicer ×1!

· Zekrom's Ultimate DNA Splicer ×1!

· Legendary Pokémon Tracker ×1!

———‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼———

What an absolutely jaw-dropping reward!

Ash was stunned by the system notifications.

And ironically, the 50 million Poké Coins was the least impressive part.

First, there was the Physique +5, Charisma +5.

Ash could already feel his body was far beyond normal thanks to the system's original doubling enhancements.

Now, with an extra +5…

He didn't know the full extent yet, but if he went all out, his physical strength probably wouldn't lose to a Level 40 Fighting-type Pokémon.

As for the +5 Charisma, it made Ash feel like his entire presence had transcended to a higher level.

Still, the most important thing wasn't his physical boosts—it was that new Legendary Pokémon Tracker.

This meant… another Legendary Pokémon eligible for the Master Ball!

As for which one it was, Ash hadn't checked yet.

But Reshiram and Zekrom—those were names he knew all too well.

The embodiment of Truth and Ideals from the Unova Region!

And now, with the "Ultimate DNA Splicers" for both…

It meant something huge.

The existence of Kyurem was directly tied to Reshiram and Zekrom. The fusion of either one with Kyurem results in White Kyurem or Black Kyurem—powerful primal forms.

With these "ultimate" DNA Splicers, Ash now had the core to those transformations!

Yeah… he definitely needed to make a trip to Unova.

But for now—home comes first.

Just then, Cynthia walked over with a small backpack in hand.

"Sorry to keep everyone waiting! Everything's settled with the League. Now it's time to visit Professor Oak."

Cynthia greeted them with her usual graceful smile, instantly lifting everyone's spirits.

Misty, May, Anabel, and Dawn were thrilled to have Cynthia join them.

With everyone on board, the group embarked on the grand ship departing Lily of the Valley Island.

Ash stood at the bow, Pikachu perched on his shoulder.

He turned toward the open sea—toward the horizon.

This was goodbye for now, Sinnoh.

Surrounded by friends and loved ones, a rush of emotion welled up in Ash's heart, and he couldn't help but softly start to sing:

With an unbreakable spirit kept deep inside,

Let's cross the towering Mount Coronet!

Who will I catch next?

Where will we meet again?

The excitement inside,

Feels just like a secret base.

A new town awaits,

Let's press forward—!

The ship moved across the sea, carrying with it laughter from the girls, playfulness from the Pokémon, and Ash's voice full of hope…

Toward Kanto.

——————

Two Weeks Later.

Kanto Region – Pallet Town.

Cynthia had gone ahead to visit Professor Oak at his lab.

Turns out Professor Carolina did indeed need his expertise.

Ash and the others had already been home for a week.

And during that time, Misty, May, Anabel, and Dawn all enjoyed their stay in Pallet Town and the surrounding forests.

But time spent together always feels short.

None of them really wanted to leave Ash's side.

But… Ash was simply too strong now.

So strong that it made him feel almost unreachable.

That's why—Misty, May, Anabel, even Dawn—had all made up their minds.

They wanted to become stronger too. To chase after Ash's footsteps.

This short reunion…

Was just the prelude to their next meeting.

Ash never once acted overbearing. He wasn't the kind of guy who would forbid them from leaving.

On the contrary—he knew very well:

Today's parting… is tomorrow's reunion.

Misty, May—I'm waiting for the day you return, stronger than ever.

I want to see you accomplish your dreams. I'll be standing right here.

Eventually, Misty and May departed.

But they still made video calls with Ash every single day.

As for Anabel—she made a surprising decision.

She had already surpassed the level of an Elite Four.

So she chose to stay in Pallet Town, at Ash's house.

Helping Delia with gardening, brewing tea, and—of course—helping care for Ash's Pokémon.

Following Anabel's advice, Ash decided to bring all of his Pokémon back home.

To make space for them, he bought out the entire mountain behind his house.

He even had an expansive meadow built.

And in the center of that meadow? A serene lake.

Two more weeks passed in peaceful routine.

Ash spent nearly a whole month enjoying time with his mother.

But things were about to shift again.

Dawn's mother, Johanna, noticed her daughter had stayed at Ash's house for quite a while.

She didn't say anything directly, but it felt… a little improper.

Of course, Johanna didn't yet know how deeply Dawn had fallen for Ash.

But Dawn had her own goals too.

She had to continue her journey—striving to become a Top Coordinator.

Not just one of the best.

But the Champion of all Top Coordinators!

P.S.: Yes, the Arceus arc is absolutely coming. Don't rush it.

Right now, there's still a huge cast of characters clustered together.
