After a long discussion with Mewtwo, Ash finally made his decision. Meanwhile, Delia had already finished packing.

With everyone on board, the group embarked on the grand ship departing Lily of the Valley Island.

Ash stood at the bow, Pikachu perched on his shoulder.

He turned toward the open sea—toward the horizon.

This was goodbye for now, Sinnoh.

Surrounded by friends and loved ones, a rush of emotion welled up in Ash's heart, and he couldn't help but softly start to sing:

Where will we meet again?

The excitement inside,

Feels just like a secret base.

A new town awaits,

The ship moved across the sea, carrying with it laughter from the girls, playfulness from the Pokémon, and Ash's voice full of hope…

Cynthia had gone ahead to visit Professor Oak at his lab.

Ash and the others had already been home for a week.

And during that time, Misty, May, Anabel, and Dawn all enjoyed their stay in Pallet Town and the surrounding forests.

But time spent together always feels short.

None of them really wanted to leave Ash's side.

So strong that it made him feel almost unreachable.

That's why—Misty, May, Anabel, even Dawn—had all made up their minds.

They wanted to become stronger too. To chase after Ash's footsteps.

This short reunion…

So she chose to stay in Pallet Town, at Ash's house.

Helping Delia with gardening, brewing tea, and—of course—helping care for Ash's Pokémon.

Following Anabel's advice, Ash decided to bring all of his Pokémon back home.

To make space for them, he bought out the entire mountain behind his house.

He even had an expansive meadow built.

And in the center of that meadow? A serene lake.

Two more weeks passed in peaceful routine.

Ash spent nearly a whole month enjoying time with his mother.

But things were about to shift again.

Dawn's mother, Johanna, noticed her daughter had stayed at Ash's house for quite a while.

She didn't say anything directly, but it felt… a little improper.

Of course, Johanna didn't yet know how deeply Dawn had fallen for Ash.

But Dawn had her own goals too.

She had to continue her journey—striving to become a Top Coordinator.

Not just one of the best.

But the Champion of all Top Coordinators!
