Chapter 894: The Primal Body Tempering Art
After obtaining the Blood Aura technique and learning it, Kent's next focus was on merging it with the Claw Aura.
However, in order to do that, he had to go through Chaos's memories, which he had scribbled on the large door bounded by the thick chain.
Though he had the Primal Core Formation Diagram, which was technically Bhaal's approval to obtain everything he owned, he still had to break the chain to acquire the Primal Body Tempering art.
But according to Chaos, merging the Claw Aura with the Blood Aura, forming the Blood Claw Aura, is the only way he would be able to break the chain.
So Kent delved deeply into reading every last thing Chaos wrote. By the time he was done, it was as if he were the one who had written them.
They became a part of him, just like whenever he finished reading a Memory diary.
"Though he is hateful sometimes, he did indeed create something very great. However, now that I am here, I will make it even more grand."
Kent waved his hand, and his claws glowed red, showing he had activated the Blood Aura.
The energy emanating from it brought a smile to his face.
However, he went ahead and activated the second aura, the Chaos Claw Aura, which had a hue of purple gold.
It slowly began to fuse with the Blood Aura.
"This will take some time, but while that happens..."
Kent extended his left clawed hand, and his claws were coated by another Blood Aura again. However, instead of activating the Claw Aura, he activated his Sword Aura.
The moment the two came together, a ripple spread out, cutting the air with gentle yet metallic whispers.
"The only reason Chaos needed almost a year to form the Blood Chaos Aura was that he was merely trying to balance only one aura with the Blood Aura.
Because the Blood Aura is so powerful, balancing the merge with only one aura is not an easy task. However, I have an additional aura that is also strong.
This means that, aside from forming the Blood Chaos Claw Aura, I will also be forming the Blood Sword Aura."
A wicked smile appeared on Kent's lips. This was where he would surpass Chaos. The outcome of this merger will take his strength to a whole new level.
"Thanks to Jest, who experimented with both Sword and Spear Aura, I know walking the orthodox path of Sword Aura is not recommended.
If you hit a roadblock with one aura, making progress with the other would be impossible," Kent laughed, watching as the processes happening in both hands slowly progressed.
"But, in my case, the Blood Aura is already comparable to a Heavenly Sword Aura, meaning for now, I don't even have to worry about it.
However, even if one day I hit a roadblock in my Blood Aura, all I have to do is kill and extract the blood essence of my kills and use it to temper my body, or simply break through to the next stage, and my Blood Aura will naturally progress.
As for my Chaos Claw Aura, the more access I have to my bloodline, the stronger it gets. Basically, the only thing I should be worried about now is my Sword Aura, which, for that, I have to cultivate every step of the way.
However, who am I if not the greatest swordsman to have ever lived?"
If anyone deserves to brag, then it is indeed Kent, who lived as the Primordial Chaos Dragon that once dominated the Primordial Era.
He had also lived as Lord Genesis, the greatest swordsman to have ever lived. But if that wasn't enough, he came back again, and this time, he became the Faceless Assassin, one without a face.
Basically, he had done enough, yet he was again doing more than was required of him, and that alone makes him someone to be feared.
A day went by, but the process was only a quarter done. From Kent's estimation, it would take at least five days, so he was prepared for it.
But in the meantime, Kent was already working on theories he planned to explore next.
"Since the Blood Aura is linked to my cultivation, I can forever use that as the base aura for any future merges. However, to form the next merge, I need three more auras.
Once I form two more mergers, I will have four dual auras under my command, meaning I can merge them too to form two quadruple auras.
Now, if I manage to achieve that, the limit I will chase next will be eight aura combinations until I hit 64 auras. That would be the minimum limit that I, Kent Madson, will reach before I become a god."
Kent's blood boiled, and for a moment, a mysterious light shone in his eyes.
Five days later, Kent smiled, seeing the uniform combinations he had formed and currently swirling in both hands.
The Blood Aura dominated both appearances. The major color for both the Blood Claw Aura and the Blood Sword Aura is red. However, the other auras also have their colors noticeable in them.
The Blood Chaos Claw Aura has that red-purplish hue, and the Blood Sword Aura has the red-golden hue.
Kent looked at the chain binding the door and smirked. He could sense it; his claw had become so powerful that the thick and unbreakable chain now appeared like a mere rope before him.
It felt weird, but Kent could see the chain and knew he could easily break it.
He flew into the air and hovered two meters away from the chain. He looked at the claw with a focused gaze for a moment before he took a powerful swing at the chain.
Five powerful crescent red-purplish arcs appeared.
The void that Kent hadn't been able to tear before using his hand was torn as the five arcs moved very quickly toward the thick, dark chains.
The arcs cut through the air with a sharp, metallic hiss, glowing fiercely as they sped toward the chains. Upon impact, the chains were cut like paper, and the attack slammed into the door, swinging it open.
Kent backed away due to the powerful force that pushed him back.
"I now understand why Chaos said he wouldn't use the Blood Chaos Claw Aura again until he becomes an immortal. It turns out a weaker body wouldn't be able to use it."
Kent smiled, "Me, on the other hand, had already achieved Nirvana and reformed my body using the flames of Nirvana. Meaning I have met all the requirements to use it."
He turned and looked at the red sea behind him, feeling the need to raise a middle finger at it. However, knowing he had earned so much this time, he bowed slightly toward it and walked through the door, opening his eyes to the outside.
A thick red tome, similar to the one from which he learned the Claw Aura, appeared from Kent's forehead the moment he opened his eyes outside.
However, this time, instead of making him enter the technique space, the tome turned into nine red runes. They flew and entered his forehead.
The moment they entered his forehead, nine waves of energy exploded from Kent's body in rapid succession.
Kent formed a hand seal the moment the ninth wave erupted from his body. From his forehead, a rune appeared and entered his chest.
Kent's body shuddered, then he fell into a trancelike state, entering the realm of Enlightenment. He wouldn't be waking up for a couple of months, considering where he went wasn't a place a person can come back from within weeks.
