Chapter 264: Tearing The Crown Off
<Invasion Type: God>
<Duration: 34s>
Rael took a deep breath and waved his hand again.
Immediately, every Chop-E he had created began marching toward Alene.
She had a frown on her face, but he could see slight amusement in her gaze.
Then, the moon projection began glowing more vividly, and in the next moment, a single ray shot out.
Its speed was so fast that Rael couldn't even react to it, but thankfully, it wasn't aimed at him.
Instead...
<Your Construct: Chop-E (x24,919) has died!>
"..." Rael narrowed his eyes.
"Joke's on you, bitch."
[Mental Integrity -120,000,000,000 | Infinite / Infinite (x16,000,000 Absolute Architect)]
<(x8,000,000) Crystallite Sword (Uncommon) has been crafted!>
<(x8,000,000) Chop-E (Rare) has been crafted!>

"Here's more."
Although he made it seem easy, his mind was currently a wreck.
It was the type of headache he'd get after downing the booze of every single restaurant on a block.
That fucking bad.
So to cure his hangover, Rael decided to mess around a little.
He sent all of his constructs forward, and as Alene's moon glowed brighter, Rael suddenly clapped his hands.
Immediately, a giant shockwave sent the constructs flying.
But instead of flying to safety, they were thrust right at Alene, who was still clearly underestimating them.
She slashed her giant blue scythe in an arc, cleaving multiple Chop-Es at once. Yet a single one out of the thousands managed to get through.
Chop-E, with nearly 1.5 million points in Strength, slashed its sword at Alene's head.
He missed. However, he did manage to give her a quick haircut.
And that was when she finally reacted, flicking her finger at Chop-E and killing it in an instant.
<Your Construct: Chop-E (x12,011) has died!>
"I can't say I've ever fought like this before," Alene remarked as she defended against the millions of Chop-Es rushing at her. "But is this all? What will you do once I kill all of your little imps and come for you?"
"Hmm... I'm still thinking about that part, so give me a moment," Rael replied flatly.
She was slightly flustered by his response, yet he ignored her as he genuinely tried to think of a plan.
He could manipulate the Mind realm however he pleased, but the problem was that he didn't really have any good finishers.
Sure, he could bear through the headache and summon a few million more Chop-Es, but that'd be like putting a band-aid on a house fire.
But as his gaze traveled toward Alene, he noticed one crucial component.
That silver crown on her head and the moon projection glowed every time she used her powers, so naturally...
Is that her power source...?
[My guess is as good as yours. But I feel like it could be,] Burger commented. [When your construct landed a hit on her earlier, she purposefully tilted her head at the last moment to avoid a hit to the crown...]
So that's a yes then, Rael mused, taking a glance at her mental integrity.
<Alene Grandeur, The Weakened Goddess of the Moon's Mental Integrity: 1,252% → 1,383%>
It's going up... how are these fuckers regenerating it? Rael thought with furrowed brows.
In the very next moment, he took a deep breath and scattered the Chop-Es to ensure they didn't die too quickly.
Then, he focused on the moon projection.
He felt a small connection to it, and using it, he proceeded to try and overtake it.
Alene flinched as she flashed a glare in his direction.
She raised her blue scythe and cleaved in his direction, sending another incredibly fast attack.
But this time, because of his 1-second foresight, Rael managed to track it.
And of course, by tilting his body to the side, he managed to evade it.
<[Phase] has been triggered!>
<Your next attack deals 150% more damage>
A grin appeared on Rael's face as he teleported behind Alene.
She was likely expecting some powerful attack, so she formed a giant moonlight barrier.
But that wasn't his actual goal.
Instead, it was the silver crown atop her head.
He reached for it, but as he was about to grab it, the moonlight barrier turned sharp and severed his hands.
Rael saw a faint smile appear on Alene's face, but it faded the instant Rael's severed hands twitched, then flew straight toward her crown.
Because of the distraction, Alene's brows furrowed as she slashed her scythe at him, trying to cleave him in half.
Yet it was already too late as the hundreds of Chop-Es finally reached her, grabbing her hands and redirecting her slash.
She tried her best to resist, even managing to kill a dozen Chop-Es, but she was in a very uncomfortable position and had no way to move freely.
And noticing that, Rael finally grabbed the silver crown and tore it off her head.
Immediately, the moon projection vanished, and so did the silver color from her hair.
And with it, a surprising pop-up appeared.
<You have broken Alene Grandeur's Moon Goddess transformation!>
<Alene Grandeur's Mental Integrity: 1,383% → 383%>
But despite the good news, Alene's strength didn't seem to have decreased in the slightest.
All of a sudden, an extremely powerful pulse shot out from her body.
The amount of danger he felt from such a pulse was immeasurable, so he focused entirely on defending against it.
He pushed back, then summoned hundreds of thousands of miniature barriers.
Yet under the powerful pulse, they cracked.
But when the pulse finally reached him, it was so weakened that it barely did any damage.
[HP -3,984 Trillion! | 642 Billion / 4,626 Trillion]
Barely...
Rael groaned under the crushing pressure, but as he turned his head, his eyes went wide.
<Your Construct: Chop-E (x10,883,993) has died!>
Fuck... she killed most of them, Rael thought.
Only around a million Chop-Es were left, as well as the furious Alene in front of him.
That pulse seemed like a special attack meant to kill him, and now, she was huffing heavy breaths and glaring at him.
She raised her scythe, and at that exact moment, his dream realm effect ended.
<Invasion Type: God>
<Duration: 0s>
<Ding!>
<You no longer have infinite Mental Integrity!>
Rael grumbled as he slowly fell to the ground, landing on the familiar shallow water.
He took a deep breath and focused.
I have 2,817 Mental Integrity left, and she has barely 400...
Rael's eyes narrowed.
I need to end this now.
