RE: Perverted Sugar Daddy System

Chapter 310: Fabric Of Reality

After she mentioned the Glenchy contract, whatever that was, Dina looked toward Amber cruelly, her despise for the woman clear.

"Knowing what I went through to get that contract, you still wanted to take it from me.

I so badly want to kill you."

After being sent stumbling to the side by the back of my hand, Amber had gone mum. She had silently listened to Dina expose her secrets to me, and now Amber spoke to the woman herself.

"Now the only thing lacking from your story is how you were taken at a young age and forced to serve a man."

"You say it like it's a lie when it is just an unfortunate past of mine."

Amber sneered and, moving her gaze to me, went quiet.

"I thought you got back your tongue. Why the silence?" Dina mocked.

I said nothing as Dina hurled insults at the woman, her spite increasing with each second, her body trembling with rage.

While Dina vented, and as I noticed how withdrawn Amber had become, a question swirled in my mind.

"Why me?"

Of course, I could pluck out reasons why I was an excellent choice for Dina to lust after, but I couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to it.

My position in this scheme went beyond just being bait, and this wasn't my ego talking—it was my instincts, my luck.

[Ding!! You have taken a step in melding with the fabric of the world +0.3 Luck]

Looking at the notification, my expression remained unchanged, but my mind suddenly blew up with a dose of realization out of nowhere.

"My instincts, my luck… there's a connection between them.

My instincts is my luck—no, that's not it. They're not the same. My luck goes beyond my instincts.

Right now, though, my luck seems limited.

I see… I thought by 'luck' the system meant how fortunate I am, but it seems I was wrong.

Luck helps my instincts. No, more than that—it entwines with them, rising higher than them, while also boosting them.

My instincts become not just feelings, but premonitions."

On its own, the system screen flashed off, giving me no further information.

I was left alone to contemplate my thoughts, to understand the inspired feeling going through me.

"Dina…"

I planned to speak more, but just after saying her name, there was a calm but intentional flow of energy through the air, this energy moved in a space different from the one visible to my eyes, and even Echo's.

It moved within the fabric of reality.

I watched as, just from this one word from me, with no emotional weight behind it, Dina froze. Then she turned to me, her eyes carrying obedience.

"You don't seem like the kind of woman to let herself be used just because someone has a sex tape of you.

Who was Amber going to show that video to? Because while it's possible, I doubt she planned to show the public. If she did, she'd run the risk of the leak being traced back to her, and that wouldn't do her reputation any good."

"You asked for the reason she taped us, I gave it to you. I have nothing else."

"Is it your ex-husband?"

"..."

Dina went mum, so I turned to Amber, the woman looking at me quizzically.

I believed both women thought I was going to question Amber, give her a lifeline so she would cooperate and give me the answer Dina wouldn't, but I did none of that.

"Jennifer Clover. What is your relationship with her?" I asked Amber,

"....."

"Do you know?" I looked at Dina.

"There have been sightings of the two of them going on strolls, eating together, and Amber even staying at the White House.

Best I can say is they're friends, possibly even best friends, but then, the First Lady is much older than Amber, so how does that work?"

"I see." I nodded sagely.

For several seconds, both women looked at me as I stared into nothingness. They both anticipated my next words, each of them having secrets to hide from me.

"You came to me not because you saw a friend to make, a dragon to climb onto, or a dick to suck.

No, it's because Jennifer wants you to take me out.

Jennifer wants me gone, and you want Dina down. Two birds with one stone, so you hatched this scheme.

Whoever Dina is scared of this tape being exposed to, that person is our executioner.

And I have a strong feeling it's her ex-husband."

Of the two women, Dina showed the most change in expression but even then, it was minute. Just enough for me to know she was surprised by my words. Nothing more.

"Alright. I've heard enough today."

Forgetting about the feminine existence in the room, I went for my clothes, picking them up and putting them on.

"Hey, where are you going?"

"Home."

"You can't just leave."

"Why not?"

"I need you to first delete the scene in there of us."

"Not happening."

"Marcus, I have a fiancée. You're not going to release that tape, right?"

"Oh, look at that, you can talk. Praise the Lord."

Having already taken out the memory card and placed it in my pocket, I was now buttoning up my shirt, and I could see Amber breathing fast, her eyes panicky.

The woman clearly wanted to get physical with me, but still very much remembered my strength and my lack of averseness to disciplining a woman.

Amber was helpless. But Dina wasn't.

Rushing to the right side of the bed and lifting up the mattress, Dina searched, and the next second, stood up straight with a gun, pointing it at me fearlessly.

"Give it to me."

"Hmm, what would be your own story?

There was an armed assassin on the ship. He was hiding in the wall. He sprung up on us and you bravely fought him but were killed.

I'm sure Amber would gladly back my claim."

"Is that true, Amber? You'll help her lie and frame me?"

Dina had an unimpressed look on her face, seeing my words as redundant. But then Amber's reply came:

"No, I won't."
