Reincarnation Of The Heavenly DAO

Chapter 24: Awakening

Wu Tian woke up three days later, when he opened his eyes they were extremely cold, overbearing and indifferent, as if they were no emotions, only cold efficiency.

Luckily no one noticed this, after a while the coldness receded. Wu Tian felt a sweat spring up his back; he hated that state the most. The absolute disregard for anyone no matter how dear really scared him.

He knew that in that state no matter how much the normal Wu Tian loved someone in that state they weren't worth squat.

Wu Tian then attempted to recall the events of the few days, he remembered his friends had tested their cultivation potential and had been praised by his mother. Then it had been his turn and … he couldn't remember anything.

He looked at his surroundings blankly, then he felt a stream of information as he remembered vague snippets of what he had seen. As the information came streaming in he finally remembered snippets of what had occurred earlier.

He couldn't remember the crystal or soulcloud clearly since they were too high level but he knew they were there.

He remembered that in that space he had done something and in three years he would see the results, the downside was that he couldn't cultivate in those three years.

However it seemed that while he had been there he had been in a powerful heavenly dao state and deduced a martial technique to cultivate the body with True Qi. He wondered whether the downside was worth it.

As he started moving around, the people in the room finally noticed he was awake. There were two maids waiting on him and one of them quickly ran to fetch her.

Not long later Lin Qing and Wu Zemin made their way in hastily followed by the kids. Seeing them so worried for him warmed Wu Tian's heart and even though he didn't notice it dissolved the final traces of the heavenly dao state's effects on him.

They quickly fused over him and asked what happened, Wu Tian found it too troublesome and wondered how to even explain something he didn't understand yet.

He simplified that he had a treasure in his body that had an overwhelming need for spirit qi. He and needed three years to enable him to cultivate. If it had been anyone else he wouldn't have dared say anything but since they were his family he trusted them.

Lin Qing in her mind sighed that her son was too young and too naïve but at the same time she felt good that Wu Tian trusted her with this information.

Since Wu Tian wasn't injured this time he was up and running around the next day. This was the day that the others would begin cultivating.

Lin Qing actually had a headache about this; she hadn't known that the kids would be so talented and diverse in their elements. She knew the cultivation techniques for the four basic elements but for the other three she was really struggling whether to extrapolate them or give them an attribute less cultivation technique.

She was also debating whether to allow them to find the techniques in the local sects but abolished the thought. The cultivation techniques in those sects were probably worse that what she could extrapolate on her own.

After all she had been a soul formation cultivator before she had had her accident. For her, deducing a cultivation technique for beginner cultivators couldn't be simpler. It would also be better that what the sects in this world could do since theirs were likely deduced by golden core or maximum nascent soul cultivators.

In the morning, the kids were all arrayed before Lin Qing. She had the eldest three come before her where she transmitted their cultivation arts using her spiritual sense containing their specific cultivation technique.

She then had them go back to their rooms to meditate and understand their cultivation techniques. She had no worries about this as those with spirit bodies were extremely smart for their age. They should be able to understand the techniques quickly.

She then sent the youngest to their classes. She really wasn't confident in allowing them to cultivate yet. She would teach them for a year or so and then let the suitable ones cultivate. She hoped that Xiao Ren, Lier and Lin lin would be able to understand their techniques well.

After this they would meditate in the rooms she had set up simple qi gathering arrays inside. One downside of not having a sect was the lack of abundant spirit qi. The azure cloud city was a mortal city and was not located in a qi vein.

That meant that the concentration of the spirit qi was extremely low in this area unlike the sects that were located in the mountains and zones with spirit veins and abundant spirit qi. More spirit qi meant a faster cultivation speed.

Thankfully Lin Qing was a formation array master and had erected the qi gathering arrays. They would increase the spirit qi in the room where the formation was set up thus making cultivation much easier.

She then waited left with Wu Tian since it could take one a considerable amount of time to sense spirit qi. The first step of cultivation was always to sense the spirit qi; only after sensing it could one draw it into their bodies.

The kids already had a big advantage, the formation that Lin Qing had used to detect their talents would already familiarize them with spirit qi and with their already monstrous talents she expected it to take them less than a week.

Usually low grade spirit roots could take months, middle grade a month, high grade half a month and top grade a week. Since these kids were so talented she expected them to take only a day or two.

She also wanted them to begin cultivating now so that when they were older they would have a foundation of withstanding loneliness for cultivation.

She then looked at Wu Tian, "Tianer, can you really not cultivate at all?"

Wu Tian felt his body and nodded confidently. He didn't really remember what he had seen in that state but he was aware that he had been really powerful. If in that state he had determined he needed to wait for a few years to cultivate then he definitely needed to follow that.

Lin Qing was still worried, she had tried to probe his body again but her spirit sense had been blocked, she couldn't find the reason he was unable to cultivate.

Seeing Lin Qing looked so worried, he hastily consoled her, "don't worry mom, I actually found a martial technique. It's very powerful, even though I can't cultivate yet. I can still train my body and get healthy.

Lin Qing stared at Wu Tian strangely for a while. "Did you practice martial arts again?" Wu Tian ducked hid head guiltily.

She thought back and remembered that he had said he discovered the eternal energy when he was practicing martial arts. She looked at him again and noticed him peering at her from the corner of his eyes.

She sighed and felt a headache coming on. This son of hers was extraordinary meaning he also got into extraordinary trouble too.
