MTLNOVEL Chapter 5: derided.
As soon as Christopher Smith approached her, Melissa couldn't hold but to run and embrace him as she cried hysterically.
Mr Smith sighed, heartbroken and angry at his own daughter, she had never suffered like the way she did not even a bit since childhood. Yet she had to stop so low Infront of Evans Reynolds.
To make matters worse, never for once has Evans Reynolds ever appreciated his daughters hard work.
If not that Mr Smith had an agreement with his daughter Melissa, he would have taught him a lesson he won't forget in a hurry.

Mr Smith slowly rubbed her hair as she bawled.
Melissa sighed for a wail and then sobbed and spoke intermittently.
"I've learnt my lessons...

It happened that years ago , when Melissa saw Evans sterning looks, she fell for him. And to chase after her so—called *love at first sight* , she abandoned her family, friends, dispite that they tried to stop her .
Yet she paid a deaf ears, and gave up her identity, status and a luxurious lifestyle just to chase the man after her heart.
But ended up in her own self—destruction.

And now it was time for Melissa to give up and forget about the man her heart yearned for.
Bit by bit she had to erase everything about him , which wasn't that so easy to achieve, since she was traumatized with unforgettable pain, both physically and mentally.

Your brothers will accompany you to the company tomorrow, so familiarize yourself for the first time, then we will chose a date to announce you identity.
Melissa was loved so much by both her father and two brothers that they would do everything to make her happy.
Ever since their mother died when she was still a baby, the two brothers made sure that she doesn't miss the love of their deceased mother.
They gave her anything she demanded for.
And to see her back made them so excited that their sister is now beginning anew career.
Moments later, Jolie come in and saw Melissa, she ran and gave her a hug and whispered.
"My sweetheart...l missed you! And congratulations for giving that bastard a divorce!"
For the first time when Melissa told them that she wanted to conceal her identity to get married, Jolie was the first to stand up and reject the idea, but still that didn't stop Melissa from doing what she wanted.
Soon she lost contact with her best friend, Jolie. And now, after so many years , Melissa saw her and her eyes brimmed with tears.
They sat down and chatted till late , soon Jolie asked Melissa when she would get her divorce certificate.
"After one month, l will.."
That stupid son of a b* tch, he's gone regret losing a wife material like you."
Melissa lowered her head down.
"Its already too late..
Even if he regrets it , it has nothing to do with me .., were strangers now."

That night jolie slept with Melissa in her room. By sun dawn, Melissa remembered having left most important documents in Evans mansion and needed to retrieve them.
Jolie want comfortable seeing Melissa go alon, so she offered to accompany her .
But what Melisa never expected was to find Maria, Evans mother in Evans house.
Well Evans mother used to go to their house without any notice and she would boss around bas if she was the owner.
When she saw Melissa walk in with a stranger by her side, she held her head so high and looked at Melissa and her friend.
"Hey you ! Didn't l warn you of bringing randos in this house? We have a lot if important documents that lowlife stranger would want to steal... Or do you have amnesia now days?.
Jolie was so stunned that she could hold her mouth, and spoke up in dissatisfaction.
"And who are you referring to a random? Don't you think , your....too old to be calling people names?"
Having grown up with the love and care of her family, she had to endure Maria's rediculeher like this? Jolie thought.
But now , jolie knew what kind of people her friend had been living with and felt infuriated.
Maria didn't stop but coldly anorted and gave Jolie what they call a once— over.
"Just because your wearing fake out fits doesn't make you a luxurious person. I've seen main low lives like you before.
All they dream is to marry rich handsome men."
Anger filled Jolie's heart and Melissa couldn't take any more ridicules that she her to speak out.
"She's my friend, have some respect for her."
In all her life in the Reynolds, Melisa had always been so submissive, and never talked back at them.
She thought by doing so... She would win the hearts of the Reynolds family, and also get some favour in the eyes of Evans.
But it didn't work.
"How dare she reprimand me Infront of an outsider, this lowly b*tch with unknown background.
She dares to speak to me in tha manner." Maria hissed.
Maria was so furious at how Melissa reprimanded her.

"Respect?, did l hear you right?
Do people from your kind of background deserve any kind of respect?
Oh...yes! Melissa, you should be grateful that outlr family accepted you as a daughter in—law. You have been living so well in our house for the past five years, and what did you give us? Not even a sign of miscarriage!...
