Chapter 16: Rank One Middle Stage!

Middle Stage, EZ

The moon was out, flexing its rizz like a silver plate in the sky. The stars were sparse, giving off major sigma vibes. 🌕✨

Gu Yue Mo Bei stood in the courtyard, staring at the moon like he was trying to mew his way to enlightenment.

"Heard you got cooked today, lil bro," his sister Gu Yue Mo Yan said, walking up behind him.

Mo Bei turned around, smirking. "Sis, you worried I'd get trauma from vomiting blood? Nah, I'm built different."

Mo Yan sighed in relief. "I know you're tough, but still, take it easy. You're the future head of the Mo family. You can't let a little L like this hold you back."

Mo Bei scratched his head, laughing. "Sis, you always know how to gas me up. But seriously, Fang Yuan's not as invincible as everyone thinks. I heard him panting during the fight. He's not as strong as he pretends to be. One day, I'll gyatt him fair and square."

Mo Yan patted his head. "That's the spirit! But no more fighting for now. You need to rest and recover."

Mo Bei shrugged her hand off. "Don't touch my head, sis. I'm not a kid anymore. I've got a plan. I'm going to focus on nurturing my aperture and break through to the middle stage. Once I do, I'll take the class chairman position and show Fang Yuan what real talent looks like!"

Mo Yan smiled. "I believe in you. If you become chairman, it'll make up for my regrets too."

Mo Bei clenched his fists. "Don't worry, sis. The chairman position is mine!"

Meanwhile, in the Chi family's secret room, Gu Yue Chi Lian was helping his grandson, Gu Yue Chi Cheng, nurture his aperture.

Chi Cheng's face was tense as he focused on suppressing the ripples in his primeval sea.

"Grandson, this method is risky, but it's necessary," Chi Lian said, sweat dripping from his forehead. "Your C-grade talent means you need all the help you can get."

Chi Cheng nodded. "I understand, Grandfather. I'm willing to sacrifice my future prospects for the Chi family."

Chi Lian smiled. "Good. But there's still hope. If we can find the Cleansing Water Gu, it'll cleanse your aperture and remove all the external energy. And I'm also searching for a Liquor worm for you. It'll help refine your primeval essence and raise it by a small realm."

Chi Cheng's eyes lit up. "Thank you, Grandfather!"

Chi Lian sighed. "The Liquor worm is rare, but if we find it, it'll be a game-changer for you."

Elsewhere, Gu Yue Fang Zheng sat on his bed, cultivating with a primeval stone in his hands.

"I'm so close to the middle stage," he muttered, opening his eyes. He looked at the pile of rock powder in his hands—the remnants of a used primeval stone.

He checked his money bag. Only three primeval stones left.

"Big brother Fang Yuan keeps taking my stones," Fang Zheng thought, clenching his fists. "But I have A-grade talent. I'll surpass him soon. Big brother, you'll see the true power of an A-grade talent!"

In the academy dormitory, Fang Yuan sat on his bed, his door shut tight.

He wasn't sleeping. He was on the verge of a breakthrough.

"Tonight's the night," he thought, closing his eyes and focusing on his aperture.

The green copper primeval sea churned, waves crashing against the aperture walls.

"Rise," Fang Yuan commanded, and the waves grew stronger, expending primeval essence to strengthen the walls.

The white light walls began to change, glowing brighter and brighter until they transformed into a thick, flowing water wall.

Fang Yuan's eyes snapped open.

"I've advanced to the middle stage!" he declared, a smirk spreading across his face.

The sunlight crept through the curtains, signaling the start of a new day.

Let's See You Explain This Blud

The classroom was buzzing like a skibidi toilet explosion.

"Yo, Fang Yuan's seat is empty. Bro really said, 'I'm built different,' and dipped," one student whispered, lowkey living for the drama.

"Bold move, bro. Today's lesson is taught by the academy elder. Fang Yuan's about to get cooked," another added, their eyes gleaming with schadenfreude.

The academy elder's face was darker than a Grimace Shake. He was lowkey fuming but also lowkey plotting. "Fang Yuan, you really thought you could skip my class and get away with it? I've been waiting for this moment to humble you," he thought, his beta energy radiating.

He slammed his hand on the desk, silencing the room. "Men!" he barked.

Two guards rushed in, looking like they just got rizzed up by the elder's aura.

"Go to the hostel and bring Fang Yuan here. Now," the elder ordered, his voice colder than Ohio in winter.

The guards dipped, and the students were on the edge of their seats, waiting for the chaos to unfold.

The Return of the King (It's Giving Edge Lord Vibes)

The door creaked open, and sunlight flooded the room.

"AHHH!!!" The student who opened the door screamed, stumbling back like they just saw a skibidi toilet in real life.

Everyone froze.

Fang Yuan stood in the doorway, bathed in blood, dragging a half-dead guard behind him. The guard's arm was missing, and blood pooled around him like a grimace shake spill.

"Fang Yuan?! He's giving edge lord vibes," someone whispered, their voice trembling.

The academy elder's jaw dropped. "What the actual gyatt is this?!" he thought, his sigma energy wavering.

Fang Yuan stepped inside, his expression calm like he just finished a side quest. "Academy Elder, I have something to report," he said, his voice steady.

The elder's face twitched. "Speak," he growled, his aura flickering like a dying light bulb.

Fang Yuan's Sigma Explanation (It's Giving Rizz)

Fang Yuan dropped the guard's hair and cupped his fists. "These two guards tried to interrupt my breakthrough to the middle stage. They barged into my room, scolded our ancestors, and claimed it was your order. I had no choice but to defend myself."

The room erupted.

"Middle stage?! Bro's lying, right? He's C-grade trash!"

"No way he advanced first. This is cap."

The academy elder's eyes narrowed. "Fang Yuan, if you're lying, the punishment will be severe."

Fang Yuan smirked. "Inspect me, elder."

The elder placed his hand on Fang Yuan's abdomen, his face going through all five stages of grief. "He… he really advanced to the middle stage," he admitted, his voice shaking.

The students lost it.

"How?! Bro's C-grade!"

"This is giving beta energy. I can't accept this!"

Fang Yuan stood tall, his sigma energy radiating. "Skill Issue + Ratio. Heaven rewards the hardworking," he said, his tone dripping with rizz.

The academy elder was seething. He wanted to punish Fang Yuan so bad, but the rules were against him. Fang Yuan had advanced to the middle stage, and the clan valued talent above all else.

"Good lad," the elder forced out, his smile tighter than a low taper fade.

"It's all thanks to the academy's nurturing," Fang Yuan replied, his tone as dry as a desert.

The elder's eye twitched. He had been outplayed, outrizzled, and outsigma'd.
