Subaru then spoke looking at the main Quest given too him by Pandora. "1/8 Archbishop, but Leo didn't become an Archbishop in this timeline".

Daphne then spoke looking at him. "Will, technically he did become Archbishop in the previous Loop, so technically you killed one".

Subaru blinked, taking a moment to process Daphne's words. "Wait… so the system is counting past loops?"

Ram sighed, clearly just as exhausted. "Roswaal's decision is final. Just don't let Elsa near the kitchen, and things should be fine."

Subaru groaned. "Great. My life is turning into even more of a circus."

Roswaal smirked. "Ohoho~ Don't be so dramatic, Subaru. Just think of it as… strengthening our defenses."

"Yeah, sure," Subaru muttered. "Or setting the house up for an eventual murder spree."

Subaru then looked at Rem as he spoke. "So where is Emilia"

Inside Emilia's room, she was curled up under the blankets, peeking out occasionally as if expecting Elsa to jump out of the shadows.

"No!" she squeaked, pulling the blankets over her head. "If you brought Elsa, I'm not coming out!"

Subaru sighed. "Relax, I came alone. Look, I know it's weird—trust me, it hurts my brain too—but Roswaal hired Elsa and Meili as maids and bodyguards."

Emilia peeked out. "But… why?"

Subaru scratched his head. "Something about strengthening our defenses. Honestly, I think it's just because Roswaal is insane, but hey, free extra help."

She still looked uncertain. "But she's tried to kill us before…"

Subaru sighed and sat on the bed beside her. "Yeah, and I don't trust her either. But if she wanted to kill you, she could've done it already. For now, let's just keep an eye on her. If she does anything sketchy, I'll handle it, okay?"

Emilia hesitated, then nodded slowly. "...Okay. But I'm still not comfortable."

Subaru chuckled. "Join the club, princess. Now, come on, let's get some food. You can't hide forever."

Emilia hesitated a bit more before finally letting Subaru help her up.

Outside the room, Elsa was waiting in the hallway, smiling. "Lady Emilia, good morning~"
