Re:Zero All Sins

Subaru woke up as he looked around a bit, he got ready, as he looked around. "Something feels wrong".

[Satella then spoke in his mind. "What do you mean]

Subaru then spoke in his mind. "I don't know"

As he gets out and see the Machin hall forze in ice. "Ah! What happened, also why don't I feel cold".

[Echidna then spoke. "That is because of us"]

Subaru then spoke in his mind. "I am not even gonna ask how are you girls keeping my body warm".

[Minerva then spoke in his mind. "Hmph! It's because we're amazing. You should be grateful!"]

[Typhon giggled. "Big Brother, you'd freeze without us!"]

Subaru sighed. "Yeah, yeah… thanks, I guess."

He stepped forward, crunching snow beneath his feet as he looked at the frozen mansion. "Alright, what the hell happened here?"

Just then, Rem walked up to him, her breath visible in the cold air. "Good morning, Subaru-kun. I see you're finally awake."

Subaru pointed at the mansion. "Rem, why does everything look like we got hit by a mini ice age?"

Rem hesitated for a moment before sighing. "It's Lady Emilia… she was practicing her magic, but…"

Subaru's eye twitched. "Let me guess. She lost control?"

Rem nodded.

Beatrice then spoke as she left her library. "That foolish girl, I suppose."

[Pandora chuckled. "Oh? Emilia-tan caused a little trouble? How fun~"]

Subaru groaned. "Great, just great." He looked around. "Where is she?"

Rem gestured toward the back of the mansion. "She's outside… sulking."

Subaru sighed as he trudged through the snow toward Emilia. When he finally found her, she was sitting on a frozen bench, wrapped in layers of blankets, her ears drooping. Puck floated beside her, looking mildly guilty.

Subaru crossed his arms. "Alright, Emilia-tan, wanna explain why you turned the mansion into Elsa's dream house?"

Emilia pouted. "I-I was trying to control my ice magic, but… I got too excited, and then…" She buried her face in her scarf. "Now everything's frozen, and everyone is mad at me…"

[Puck sighed. "It was my fault too, Subaru. I encouraged her."]

Subaru sat beside her, patting her head. "Well, as long as no one lost a limb, I guess it's fine. But you know what this means, right?"

Emilia blinked. "What?"

Subaru grinned. "A perfect excuse for a snow festival!"

Emilia's eyes widened. "A… snow festival?"

Subaru stood up dramatically. "That's right! We're gonna make the best of this winter wonderland! Snowball fights! Ice sculptures! Hot drinks! The works!"

[Minerva groaned. "And here I thought you were going to scold her…"]

[Typhon cheered. "Yay! Big Brother is fun!"]

[Pandora smirked. "Oh? A festival, you say? This might be entertaining."]

Subaru turned to Emilia. "So? What do you say, Emilia-tan?"

She hesitated, then smiled. "O-Okay! Let's do it!"

And so, the preparations for the Memory Snow Festival began…

The next morning Subaru woke up too find his whole room Frozen. "Ok what".

Few minutes later, everyone was in the dining room, as Subaru looked at Puck. "Magic Release period, really".

Meili then spoke looking at Subaru. "That what happens too spirit big brother".

Elsa then looked at him as she spoke. "Don't you have a spirit contract as well".

Subaru then looked up as he Koyami sleeping his head, as he looked at the Yin and Yang Spirit, as his dropped, as then everyone had two different imagination, one what the whole Machine was covered in all types do Shadow and one where the Mantion was as Bright as the fuckin sun

Subaru let out a deep sigh as he poked Koyami's tiny body resting on his head. "Oi, wake up, you little troublemaker."

The small Yin-Yang Spirit lazily opened one eye before yawning. "Mmm… morning, Subaru."

Beatrice then muttered. "Hmph. That thing's magical release period could be a disaster."

[Minerva groaned. "If Emilia's ice magic is bad, this is going to be a nightmare."]

Subaru turned back to the group and saw how everyone had different concerns in their minds.

Ram looked completely done with life as she sighed. "If Barusu loses control, this entire mansion will either become a never-ending shadow nightmare or turn into a light that blinds us all."

Roswaal, sipping his tea, smirked. "Ooooh, how interesting~ I must admit, I am quite curious to see what kind of effect your magic release period would have, Subaru-kun."

Subaru shot him a glare. "You wanna see me accidentally warp the entire mansion into a domain of eternal darkness or holy light? Be my guest."

Meili tugged on his sleeve. "Big brother… what even is a magic release period?"

Elsa tilted her head. "I must admit, I'm curious as well. Spirits have them, but I never bothered learning about it."

Subaru scratched his head, looking at Puck. "Oi, furball, mind explaining?"

Puck floated up with a smirk. "Easy. Every spirit, after a certain period, has to release excess mana that builds up in their bodies. It's like a reset button. If they don't do it properly, their magic can go wild. Emilia's freezing the mansion is just one example."

Meili's eyes widened. "Wait… so Koyami could…?"

Subaru groaned, already dreading the possibilities. "Yeah. Either my entire room turns into an eldritch horror show with shadow tendrils everywhere, or the mansion starts glowing like some divine temple."

[Satella's voice echoed softly in his mind. "I'd prefer the shadows, Subaru. It would feel… like home."]

Subaru coughed. "Yeah, not happening, Satella."

Emilia, still wrapped in blankets, raised her hand nervously. "U-Um… maybe we should find a safe place for Koyami to release his magic? Somewhere away from the mansion?"

Subaru snapped his fingers. "Good idea! Let's take this little guy far away before something insane happens."

Koyami yawned. "You're worrying too much, Subaru… I won't make a mess…"

Subaru narrowed his eyes. "Yeah, I so believe that."

Roswaal chuckled. "Then let's see if your worries are valid, shall we?"

And so, Subaru, Emilia, and the rest began preparing to escort Koyami to a safer location—before the mansion became either a haunted abyss or a divine palace.

Subaru then looker at Puck. "Quick Question Puck, when was the last time you went full out".

Puck looker at him as he spoken. "Last time was when we fought a particular Assassin". He looked at Elsa. "Another time when I figur Roswaal".

Flash back.

As it shows it was winter, as him and Roswaal was fighting, as Roswaal sent a blast of all enegry, as Puck moved out of the way, as the blast almost hit a village

End of flash back

Subaru pointed at both of them. "You both are insane".

[Echinda then spoke in his head. "Say the guy who has 8 different voices in his head"]

Puck then looker at Emilia as he spoke. "You know it is time for you stop pretending too be cold, your Immune to the cold just like... Subaru".

Everyone looked as he actived [Witch Lie], as he spoke. "As I said my nation tryed too make me a weapon, one does training including is living out in the winter too survive".

[Minerva then spoke in his head. "Oh, you are making them hate Kararagi"

Pandora then spoke. "And the amour make documents we need to create is also gonna be insane, once someone in Kararagi find, they will think there is rough part of the government]

Meili looked out the window as she spoke. "I just want the ice too end for my poor mabeast".

As they looked as they saw on if the mabeast jumped into the air and ate crown which was just trying too fly, as they looked back at her.

Subaru then spoke looking at them. "Let's just go outside, it maybe showing but it will still be warm".

They went out and saw it was rain, Subaru then spoken. "Never mind let's go to bathroom it is always hot there".

When they went there the water was red and the room was frozen, as Beatrice went too the bath as she put her finger in as it moves. "Jelly Ton".

Subaru looked at Elsa as he spoken. "You almost gave us all a heart attack".

Elsa laughed as she spoke. "In my defense, neither me or Meili though this was going too happen, don't worry we used sugar, this was meant too be prank".

Ram just spoke. "So what why our Suger supply went form 3/3 to 1/3".

Subaru then spoke as he sighed. "Will we can all sleep outside".

Roswaal crossed his arm as he spoke. "I am not spelling outside and no one is, and that order is final".

Subaru though in his mind. "I.HATE.YOU".

Subaru groaned, rubbing his temples as he looked at the frozen, sugar-infested bath. "You know what? I give up. I actually give up."

[Echidna giggled in his head. "Come now, Subaru, you've survived worse."]

[Minerva sighed. "At least it wasn't blood this time."]

Subaru shot a glare at Elsa. "You do realize that turning the bath into some weird jelly monstrosity wasn't exactly the best prank, right?"

Elsa smirked. "Oh? I thought you enjoyed surprises, Subaru."

Meili pouted. "It was supposed to be funny, big brother…"

Ram rubbed her temples. "It would be funny if we didn't have to ration sugar like commoners now."

Roswaal, still smirking, clapped his hands. "Well, since none of us are sleeping outside, let's focus on fixing the bath situation, shall we?"

Subaru took a deep breath. "Alright. New plan: clean this mess up, then figure out how to survive Emilia's magic release period without turning the mansion into either an ice sculpture or a battlefield."

Puck floated beside Emilia and poked her cheek. "Lia, you really don't need to pretend to be cold anymore. You're just as immune as Subaru."

Emilia turned red. "I-I just like blankets, okay?"

[Satella giggled in his mind. "She's cute when she pouts."]

Subaru sighed. "Whatever. Let's just start cleaning before this place turns into an even bigger disaster."

As the group began dealing with the sugar jelly mess, Subaru couldn't shake the feeling that the day was only going to get more chaotic.

Koyami then started too glow, as Subaru then spoken. "Oh no".

Subaru immediately stepped back as Koyami, his Yin-Yang spirit, began radiating an eerie glow.

Puck's ears twitched. "Uh-oh, that's not normal."

Emilia blinked. "Subaru, is that… supposed to happen?"

Subaru groaned. "No, no it's not supposed to happen! Koyami, what the hell are you doing?"

[Koyami then spoke in his mind, sounding sleepy. "Mmm… absorbing ambient mana… too much ice… need to balance…"]

Suddenly, black and white energy pulsed from Koyami, and in an instant, the frozen mansion became half encased in shadow and half bathed in a bright, unnatural light.

Meili stared at the split mansion. "Um… Big Brother, I think your spirit broke reality."

Elsa chuckled. "I have to admit, I've never seen a mansion look like this before."

Ram sighed. "Great. Now we have an even bigger mess to clean up."

Subaru facepalmed. "I swear I just wanted a normal winter day for once."

[Echidna snickered. "You? A normal day? How naïve."]

[Pandora then added in his mind. "Well, at least this makes the mansion look unique."]

Puck floated beside Subaru, his tail flicking. "So, what's the plan, oh great problem magnet?"

Subaru sighed, staring at the now half-shadow, half-light mansion. "First, I need a drink. Second, someone explain to me how we're supposed to fix this before Roswaal starts writing a research paper on it."

Puck then spoke. "Will at least now we know what Koyami magical release period looks like".

Roswaal just spoke as he sighed. "This is kinda tame from what we expected".

Subaru twitched. "Excuse me? Tame?" He pointed dramatically at the mansion, now resembling some chaotic fusion of darkness and light. "How the hell is this tame?!"

Roswaal shrugged. "We expected a bit more destruction. Maybe a mana storm or a dimensional rift. But this? Just a little decor change."

Subaru stared at him in disbelief. "Are you hearing yourself right now? A dimensional rift was your expectation?!"

[Echidna then spoke in his mind. "Honestly, he's not wrong. You do have a tendency to cause catastrophes."]

[Pandora chuckled. "And yet, fate keeps letting you live. How amusing."]

Puck smirked. "Well, since we survived, I say we make the most of it." He floated up and dramatically gestured toward the mansion. "Behold! The Shadow-Light Manor! A new aesthetic choice, courtesy of our dear Subaru and his overpowered spirit!"

Meili clapped. "Yay! Big Brother, you made the mansion special!"

Elsa hummed in amusement. "I have to admit, it does have a certain charm to it. Half a haunted house, half a divine temple. Quite the contrast."

Ram pinched the bridge of her nose. "This is going to be another headache to deal with."

Subaru groaned. "Okay, fine! Whatever! But how do we fix this?!"

Koyami, still glowing slightly, yawned. ["Mmm… it'll fade in a few hours… probably."]

Subaru clenched his fists. "Why do I even bother asking at this point?"
