Sakura Haruno is Usefull

Sakura sat in the Hokage's office, rubbing the large bump on her head with a tearful expression, recounting the recent events to Hiruzen Sarutobi with a look of utter resignation.

However, instead of Uchiha Itachi's actions, Sarutobi and Tsunade were far more concerned about the so-called "second personality" Sakura mentioned.

For Tsunade, it might have been curiosity, but for Hiruzen, who had practically viewed Sakura as his successor, this was a potential disaster.

If something went wrong, the consequences would be enormous.

According to Sakura, the second personality had surfaced after being caught in Itachi's Tsukuyomi, helping her break free from the genjutsu and then taking over her body to fight both Itachi and Kisame Hoshigaki.

Tsunade, arms crossed, glared at the girl sitting beside her, still rubbing her sore head.

She had every reason to believe that the so-called second personality was deliberately stirring trouble.

It was pure jealousy and spite!

Hiruzen, standing across from Sakura, frowned as he looked at his young disciple, a wave of helplessness washing over him.

Hiruzen asked gently, observing Sakura.

Still rubbing the lump on her head, Sakura winced as she recalled how Tsunade had punched her after getting angry earlier.

That second personality had retreated at the worst possible moment, leaving her to bear the full brunt of Tsunade's wrath—a loving but extremely painful head-slap that had nearly knocked her out cold.

"She's a jerk," Tsunade interjected bluntly, shooting Sakura a glare.

"Uh… haha… her personality is a bit… difficult," Sakura admitted with an awkward laugh.

Hiruzen found himself chuckling quietly at Sakura's awkward demeanor. When had this confident girl ever looked so defeated?

"Second personalities typically stem from the subconscious desires of the primary personality," Tsunade teased as she pinched Sakura's cheek mercilessly.

"I wouldn't be surprised if that's your true nature, Sakura!"

"Ah, come on! It's not like I wanted this!" Sakura protested as she wriggled free from Tsunade's grasp, her face filled with indignation.

Deep down, though, Sakura had her own suspicions about this "Inner Sakura."

This wasn't just some sudden development. It was a part of her, something that had always existed, growing stronger alongside her over time.

In the original series, Inner Sakura had represented her immense aptitude for genjutsu—a personality born from her strong mental fortitude, capable of even resisting the Yamanaka Clan's Mind Body Switch Technique.

"But I can tell she means no harm. She's just… playful," Sakura muttered, rubbing her reddened cheeks.

After all, whether it was in the original series or just now, Inner Sakura had fought to protect her.

Though her personality was undeniably awful.

Could this really be her true self?

Sakura couldn't help but fall into self-doubt.

Boisterous, combative, and prone to provocation—who could behave like this and still call themselves a "good person"?

"Is that so?" Hiruzen mused, stroking his chin as he studied Sakura thoughtfully.

The emergence of a second personality could be both a blessing and a curse.

If Sakura, with her prowess in medical ninjutsu and the Hundred Healings Technique, could be seen as a representative of Yang Release, then Inner Sakura, born from her immense mental strength, was clearly a manifestation of Yin Release.

In Hiruzen's extensive knowledge, he had never encountered such a unique existence.

Yin Release and Yang Release had always been among the most complex and mysterious fields of ninja training.

But this also meant that Inner Sakura, with her ties to Yin Release, could potentially take control at any time.

An unstable factor…

Hiruzen sighed, his concern evident.

His chosen successor was flawed.

"It's okay, old man! I can feel it—she really wants to help me," Sakura said hurriedly, noticing Hiruzen's somber expression.

"She's like a shadow clone—independent, but still a part of me."

"I understand that," Hiruzen replied, looking at Sakura with a hint of sadness.

If Sakura couldn't fully control this Inner Sakura, he might have to reconsider her as his successor.

If necessary, he would let Tsunade take over as Hokage first, giving Sakura time to gain mastery over this second personality.

The last thing he wanted was for Sakura to ascend to the Hokage seat only to have her second personality wreak havoc.

"For now, go get your hair fixed," Hiruzen finally said, his tone lightening a bit.

Because of Itachi's Fire Style: Dragon Flame Jutsu, Sakura had used her Hundred Healings Technique to tank the attack, and Inner Sakura had taken the liberty of chopping off her long hair.

Not that Sakura minded—she'd been wanting to cut it for a while anyway.

"Alright," Sakura replied, somewhat reluctantly.

Still, she cast a wistful glance at Tsunade, realizing her plans to visit the Senju Library had likely been foiled again.

When would she finally get to start researching her Yang Release body technique?

Sakura was counting on combining it with the Hundred Healings Technique, her medical ninjutsu, and Karin's healing abilities to withstand the Sage Pool at Ryūchi Cave and master Sage Mode!

"Lady Tsunade, can I stay at your place tonight?" Sakura asked abruptly.

Tsunade looked puzzled but agreed.

"Sure, it'll save me from being bored alone. Bring that red-haired girl too."

With Tsunade's permission, Sakura finally had a bit of good news.

"Thank you, Lady Tsunade!" she exclaimed, bolting out the door.

Time was tight—she had a battlefield to reach in the Land of Frost with Kakashi tomorrow.

As for Karin?

Sakura had a hunch about Tsunade's motives.

Karin, with her Uzumaki bloodline, was purer than even Naruto's mother, Kushina.

After all, Kushina didn't have the Mind's Eye of the Kagura or Karin's body-healing abilities.

Tsunade likely saw Karin as a reminder of her dear old friend.
