  Puff! Puff! Puff!

With each twist of Indigo's extravagant dance, more and more glowing chemical spheres materialized in the air, like eerie stars orbiting his outstretched fingers.

Under his theatrical control, the spheres began to swirl and merge into a pulsating mass of luminous energy.

In mere seconds, the fusion was complete—a monstrous orb of volatile chemical power hovered before him, crackling with deadly force.

"Let me show you what true brilliance looks like!"

Indigo cackled, raising one arm high with dramatic flair. His eyes gleamed as he prepared to hurl the orb directly at Bai Yu.

The oversized sphere, forged from dozens of chemical light bombs, vibrated with power. One blast could level a block.

  But across from him—

"I don't have time for circus tricks."

Bai Yu's voice cut through the tension like a blade through silk.

His right hand tightened on the hilt of the Wushuang Taidao, his legendary blade.

  "Shave!"

  Fwoosh!

With a sonic boom, Bai Yu vanished.

A crater burst beneath his last step, debris flying, as if gravity itself had recoiled from his speed.

  "He—?!"

  "You talk too much."

Indigo's eyes bulged as a cold voice whispered from behind him.

  He spun around in disbelief—

  Too late.

Bai Yu stood there, his form mid-slash, Wushuang Taidao igniting with a flame of sword intent.

  Puff! Puff!

  Twin sprays of blood erupted.

Both Indigo and Scarredo, the mutated orangutan, froze. Across their chests, deep gashes shimmered crimson, exposing shattered bone and torn organ.

  Fwoosh!

From the wounds, a dark red flame surged forth, devouring their blood and scorching their flesh.

  Plop! Plop!

  They crumpled together, lifeless.

  A single strike. Two corpses.

Bai Yu stood upright, calmly wiping the blade clean before sheathing it in one smooth motion.

"Still staring?" he asked, glancing toward Maya and the others.

  "It's time to move."

  "Y-Yes!"

The trio snapped out of their stunned silence.

Even with their recent strength gains, they couldn't track his movement. They hadn't even seen the strike.

Only the aftermath remained—Indigo and Scarredo slain before they could react.

Too fast. Too clean. Too terrifying.

The four of them advanced again, this time arriving at the edge of an enormous castle.

Sprawling gardens stretched before them, the greenery lush and suspiciously vibrant.

Among the plants, unmistakable IQ flora bloomed wildly—used by the Golden Lion to concoct his dangerous IQ Rage Formula.

With this many samples, mass production was no longer a dream—it was a threat to the world.

"Once I engage Shiki, I won't have time to protect anyone."

Bai Yu halted at the castle gate, speaking without looking back.

"If things turn ugly, Bellumebo, you take the others and retreat. Got it?"

The cold seriousness in his tone chilled even the air.

  "Understood, Brigadier General!"

"We'll follow your lead—and escape if we must!"

Hearing their unified reply, Bai Yu nodded.

And with that, they stepped into the lion's den.

  Oddly enough, no resistance came.

  No guards.

  No traps.

Just quiet corridors and empty grandeur.

Floor by floor, hall by hall—they passed through four sprawling chambers.

  Nothing.

"Think he fled?" Bellumebo muttered. "No one's even around…"

  "Would Shiki really run?"

Before speculation could spiral, Bai Yu suddenly stopped.

  His expression changed.

The others froze. They'd learned to recognize this look.

They followed his gaze to a massive wooden door ahead, tightly shut.

  Behind that door—

  A pressure.

  A presence.

Bai Yu's Observation Haki was screaming.

Without hesitation, he stepped forward and pushed the doors open.

  Boom!

A cacophony of sound burst forth—cheers, laughter, clinking glasses.

A grand banquet hall revealed itself.

Golden chandeliers, lavish tapestries, and rows upon rows of neatly arranged tables—each seat filled.

Pirates with bounty posters, black market moguls, war criminals with blood on their hands—

  The filth of the sea.

And they all turned toward the navy intruder.

In the center, enthroned and unmoved, sat the Golden Lion Shiki himself.

That unmistakable rudder jutting from his blond mane made him instantly identifiable.

As Bai Yu's gaze locked with his, the temperature dropped.

  "Yo!"

"Well, well, a Marine crashes the party."

"Thinking of joining the winning side, brat?"

A burly pirate nearby stood up and swaggered over.

"What's your name, kid?" he sneered. "Do you know where you—"

  Bang!

  Crash!

  His words never finished.

Bai Yu's palm struck faster than thought.

The pirate flew across the hall like a missile, smashing into the marble wall with a sickening thud—half-buried, unmoving.

  Gasps echoed.

  Silence fell.

Bai Yu took one step forward, unwavering.

  The storm was coming.
