Chapter 110: Red Tattoo(Double Chapter)
Chu Wuyao didn't seem satisfied with just this however, but continued pummeling Ren Sang down with all her strength, using every single one of her means.
Whether it was her skills, her fists, her nails or her tail, they were all used to attack Ren Sang, as if he was her mortal enemy.

It was only when the system prompt flashed in her field of vision that her movements stopped and she hurriedly deactivated the True Form, returning to her real appearance and regaining some of her lost sanity.
"Phew...", Chu Wuyao exhaled and she had just relaxed, when something strange happened.
On the ground, an object suddenly flew out of Ren Sang's corpse, or to be more accurate, what was remaining of it.
The object floated in the air, revealing its appearance.
A tiny red mark.
This red mark shone with a faint light and constantly turned around, as if it was trying to locate something.
Finally, when it faced Chu Wuyao, the mark seemed to have discovered what it had been searching for and rushed towards her.
Chu Wuyao tried to defend by creating a shield made out of black flames in front of her, but the mark completely ignored it, passing right through it.
Before she could react, the mark had appeared next to her and flew into her body, turning into a tiny red tattoo on her shoulder.
Chu Wuyao had never seen such a mark before in her life, but it didn't take much thinking to understand that this should not be anything good.
Without hesitation, she controlled the Mana in her body to try to wipe it out, but no matter how hard she tried, she was unable to.
It looked like this mark had become a part of her.
Seeing this, Chu Wuyao didn't panic, but continued trying other ways to remove the tattoo, whether it was her skills, her Devil bloodline or even the Snow Dragon Sword's cold power.
Unfortunately, all of these attempts resulted in the same exact result.
Failure.
This allowed her to understand that this red mark wasn't as simple at it seemed and it should contain a high-level power.
Thinking of high-level powers, Chu Wuyao remembered something.
With a thought of her mind, a complicated white rune appeared on the back of her hand, flashing with brilliance.
After she took a look at it, she used her mind to control this rune and move it towards her shoulder, wanting to use it to remove the red tattoo.
The white rune moved slowly, but before long, it had appeared right next to the mark.
Just as the rune and the mark were about to overlap, the white rune suddenly shook.
As if it had noticed its mortal enemy, white mist poured out of it and rushed towards the red tattoo, vowing to wipe it out.
"Clink!"
A clicking sound came from Chu Wuyao's body, as the mist hit the tattoo and wiped out a part of it.
Unfortunately, only a tiny corner of the tattoo was destroyed and most of it was still there, attached to her skin.
Chu Wuyao estimated that it would take countless such attacks to completely wipe it out and it would take quite some time.
"At least there is a way to balance it for now...", she whispered and she controlled the white mist that pouring out of the rune to surround the red tattoo, sealing it tightly.
As if the energy it had been using had been powered off, the tattoo flickered for a split second, before it turned into a black color. Enjoy more content from My Virtual Library Empire
Chu Wuyao didn't do anything else, but let the rune attack the tattoo on its own.
"This mark should be a means of tracking.", Chu Wuyao judged and secretly, she felt that she was very lucky to have obtained this white rune from the Mist Dragon's inheritance.
Otherwise, with her current strength, she would be unable to deal with this strange mark.
Now, although it would take some time to wipe it out completely, it was at least in a sealed state.
For the time being, she didn't have to worry about being tracked by the owner of this mark.
Shaking her head, Chu Wuyao knew that this was the only thing she could do for now and she could only try to look of a better way to deal with it in the future.
Having dealt with the mark, Chu Wuyao turned her attention to her current condition, looking at the various wounds that covered most of her bodies.
However, her main focus was on the most serious one.
"Pfft!"
Her hands reached out and she pulled the giant axe that had been embedded in her abdomen, causing large amounts of blood to fall out from the huge gash that was left behind.
Thankfully, now that Ren Sang was no longer alive, the power that remained on her wounds had disappeared and her healing speed had significantly increased.
As the wound was healing, Chu Wuyao put the giant axe away and glanced at the corpse of Ren Sang on the ground.
With a wave of her hand, the Blood Flag appeared in her hand and the flag fluttered, wrapping the corpse up.
Chu Wuyao had not forgotten Li Ruoshi's words and she understood that by absorbing Ren Sang's blood, the Blood Flag's power would increase.
She didn't feel bad about letting her Magic Weapon swallow a human's blood.
In her mind, this was a way of recycling trash.
After she did this, Chu Wuyao started hitting the area around her, destroying the evidence of her fight with Ren Sang.
Then, she didn't stay here any longer, but chose to leave.
She knew very well that this area was very close to the Inner Area and the previous fight was bound to alert some people.
Even though these people should mostly be inner disciples like her, it would be best if she could hide the fact that she was the killer.
With this in mind, Chu Wuyao took a last look at the ruins behind her and after she lowered her presence as much as she could, she flew away, rushing towards the Inner Area.

While Chu Wuyao was dealing with the aftermath of her murder, in a small room in the Inner Area, a middle aged man was sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed.
This man looked to be in his forties, with a few strands of white in his black hair and he looked very ordinary, very unassuming.
From his appearance, it would be impossible to guess that this man was Mu Huanzhi, one of the few quasi-core disciples of the Original Desire Sect.
The room was empty, with only Mu Huanzhi sitting at its center and it was completely silent, creating a strange, eerie atmosphere.
Time slowly passed, until suddenly, Mu Huanzhi's body shook and he opened his eyes.
"Did one of them die?", he muttered in a low voice and if one were to look at him carefully, they would find that his aura had slightly decreased.
With some curiosity, Mu Huanzhi tried to sense the mark he had left behind, wanting to find the culprit behind his subordinate's death.
However, before he could do so, he found that he had lost his connection with the mark, as if somebody had wiped it out.
"Did Luo Xi take action, or was it another quasi-core disciple?", Mu Huanzhi wondered for a bit, but then he shook his head.
"It doesn't matter, it doesn't matter...", he whispered and stopped worrying about it.
Soon, he closed his eyes again and resumed his cultivation, as if nothing had happened.
From Mu Huanzhi's actions and his careless attitude, it was very clear that he didn't care about the death of his subordinates at all.

The next morning, just when the sun was showing itself in the sky, Chu Wuyao sat opposite to Lu Yuan, holding a cup of tea in her hand.
"Junior sister Chu, I heard that Ren Sang came to visit you yesterday. Is this true?", Chu Wuyao heard him ask and in response, she nodded her head, confirming his words.
"Really? I heard that that person is very moody and he likes to bully new disciples.", Lu Yuan said, seemingly speaking casually.
Chu Wuyao didn't respond to his words but her eyes turned a little cold when she looked at him.
Although Chu Wuyao didn't have the time nor the means to interrogate Ren Sang yesterday, it didn't take much thinking to understand the reason why he rushed to visit her yesterday, just after Lu Yuan had left.
From Ren Sang's words and insinuations, it was very obvious that it was Lu Yuan's visit that had attracted his attention and he came to "bring her" under the command of Mu Huanzhi.
Clearly, the quasi-core disciple behind Ren Sang had an unpleasant relationship with the quasi-core disciple behind Lu Yuan, and Chu Wuyao suffered as a result of the two parties' fight.
Thinking this, Chu Wuyao had to hold herself back from attacking Lu Yuan and teaching him a lesson.
Facing her silence, Lu Yuan understood what she was thinking and became a little embarrassed.
In fact, he had already guessed that his previous visit would create a conflict between Chu Wuyao and Ren Sang, but this was a good thing for him.
If Chu Wuyao offended Ren Sang, the only way she would be able to survive was joining senior sister Luo.
And this was exactly his purpose.
Of course, he didn't say this out loud.
"By the way, did you hear that a fight took place just outside the Inner Area yesterday?", Lu Yuan coughed and tried to change the topic.
"I did but I was busy last night and I didn't have the time to check it out.", Chu Wuyao replied casually, as if she wasn't one of the participants in the fight.
Lu Yuan didn't doubt her at all and chuckled before saying:
"I went there yesterday but I arrived too late and the people had already left."
"From the traces left behind, the people fighting should be at the Middle Stage of the Shackles Realm.", he commented.
What he didn't say was that from the ruins that were left behind, it was very possible that at least one of these people was at the Late Stage of the Shackles Realm.
This made him quite curious, as there were not many inner disciples with such strength.
"Really? Fortunately I was lucky and I didn't rush there yesterday, otherwise I might have offended them.", Chu Wuyao exclaimed in "surprise".
"That's true. Junior sister Chu should be more careful in the future. After all, you've just broken through."
Having said that, Lu Yuan leaned a little closer and lowered his voice.
"Someone has been spreading rumors recently that the sect is planning to lead the inner disciples out for training."
When he saw that Chu Wuyao didn't understand, Lu Yuan explained:
"Although most of the inner disciples are very weak compared to the core disciples and the sect's elders, they at least have some value."
"Even though it is quite rare, from time to time, the sect will lead some of the inner disciples to participate in certain events, wanting to let them get some experience and enhance their strength."
"For example, just a few years ago, the sect found that a small sect in our jurisdiction colluded with the Sword Palace to undermine us."
"Instead of sending an elder to wipe this sect out, the Original Desire Sect led some of the inner disciples to fight against its members."
"Of course, this is only an example. These events may range from an extermination of a sect, to letting us enter a secret place or having a competition against the other sects."
When he said this, a look of reminiscence appeared on Lu Yuan's face and he sighed:
"It was also during one of those events that I was lucky enough to obtain an opportunity that allowed me to reach my current realm."
Hearing his explanation, Chu Wuyao understood what he was implying.
Compared to the outer disciples, the inner disciples had already proved to the Original Desire Sect that they were worthy of receiving its support and these so-called "events" were a way for the sect to reward them.
Of course, when she recalled the previous sect competition, she understood that these events were filled with danger and that a large amount of disciples would surely die.
"Perhaps only those that are strong or lucky enough to survive are worthy in the sect's eyes.", Chu Wuyao thought secretly.
