Chapter 109: Monster(Double Chapter)
"Boom!"
The giant axe fell onto the sword in Chu Wuyao's hand, making her feel as if she had been struck by a speeding car.
As a result of the overwhelming force, her body was knocked back and it took her a few moments before she was able to regain her balance in the air.
Feeling that there was still a strange power raging inside her body and trying to destroy her internal organs, Chu Wuyao moved her Mana and quickly wipe it out.
Compared to Chu Wuyao, Ren Sang's current state was much better.
With his advantage in cultivation, he didn't suffer at all.
There was only a thin film of ice that formed around his palms, as a result of the Snow Dragon Sword's cold power.
However, it only took a slight shaking of his hands for this ice to crack and then be destroyed.
After he did this, Ren Sang looked at Chu Wuyao who had been forced back and didn't show any mercy, moving again.
Raising the axe with both of his hands, he dropped it towards Chu Wuyao.
Faced with this attack, Chu Wuyao's reaction wasn't slow at all.
From their previous collision, she had already realized that Ren Sang was very strong, stronger than her.
"It deserves to be a cultivator at the Middle Stage of the Shackles Realm.", she thought.
But even then, she wasn't afraid.
With a thought of Chu Wuyao's mind, a bunch of illusory white scales appeared around her body, slightly increasing her physical strength.
At the same time, countless tiny stars flashed on the surface of the Snow Dragon Sword and its aura became a little more powerful, its edge becoming even sharper.
These small shining stars were the result of the brand new skill she had obtained not long ago, the Seven Stars Swordsmanship.
As if she felt that this was not enough, many black flames flew out of her body and attached to the sword, surrounding it as if they were a part of it.
The black flames and the blue ice worked together, increasing the sword's power.
"Bang!"
Chu Wuyao and Ren Sang collided one more time but compared to the last time, their movements didn't stop there.
In just a split second, the two of them had attacked each other hundreds of times and although they were fighting in the air, they had caused massive destruction to the area around them.
The earth below them cracked and the plants around them were wiped out, while the surrounding animals trembled in fear and escaped this place in a hurry.
If there was any mortal to witness their fight, they would think that this was not a fight between cultivators, but a fight between two Gods.
After all, the power that the two of them displayed was unimaginable to an ordinary person, even if this person lived in a world with extraordinary power.
The fight continued and under pressure, Chu Wuyao slowly became more and more proficient with the Seven Stars Swordsmanship and the tiny stars on the Snow Dragon Sword's surface shone brighter and brighter, further increasing the sword's power.
At the same time, whenever she had the opportunity, Chu Wuyao would use the Mist Domain to cast illusions in order to interfere with her opponent, or she would throw spears, swords, sabers or axes made out of terrifying black flames.
Unfortunately, even so, Chu Wuyao was at an absolute disadvantage.
Although she wielded the Snow Dragon Sword using the Seven Stars Swordsmanship, it hadn't been long since she obtained this skill and because of her unfamiliarity with it, she wasn't able to fully bring the sword's and the skill's power out.
Moreover, the Lifeblood Flame skill that Chu Wuyao had always been relying on and had made her pretty much invincible at the Qi Accumulation Realm seemed to have become a little inadequate in a fight between two Shackles Realm cultivators.
Whenever the black flames were about to fall on Ren Sang, he would either dodge them or straight up wipe them out with a wave of the giant axe.
Chu Wuyao understood that this wasn't because the Lifeblood Flame was weak, but because her proficiency in it was quite lacking.
After all, compared to other Shackles Realm cultivators, Chu Wuyao had been practicing for a very small amount of time and hadn't had enough time to master the various skills she possessed.
"Boom!"
Ren Sang's axe fell right onto the Snow Dragon Sword, knocking Chu Wuyao back.
Chu Wuyao felt that many bones in her hand had cracked, while a large wound had appeared on her forearm, with blood rushing out of it constantly.
Even though her regenerative abilities were extraordinary because of the Devil's Body, there was a high-level power that remained on the wound, preventing her from healing.
"Do you see the difference between us? In front of the difference in our cultivation, your talent and means are nothing.", a sneering voice rang in Chu Wuyao's ears, as Ren Sang tried to distract her.
Before Chu Wuyao could react, he had appeared in front of her and swung the giant axe forward.
In a hurry, Chu Wuyao could only bring the Ice Dragon Sword in front of her to defend.
"Bang!"
Chu Wuyao was knocked back and Ren Sang didn't seem willing to give her any chance to recover.
Chasing right after her, he continued attacking her with all his strength.
Time slowly went by and as the fight continued, Chu Wuyao knew that if nothing changed, she would surely die tonight.
She had to admit that this was not only because Ren Sang's cultivation was higher than hers, but also because of his familiarity with various skills.
Whether it was their proficiency in their respective weapons and skills, or their combat experience, Ren Sang had an advantage over her.
Even so, Chu Wuyao didn't feel afraid at all, knowing that she still hadn't used all of her means.
With an indifferent face, she continued waving the Ice Dragon Sword and using the Seven Stars Swordsmanship, as if she was using Ren Sang as her sparring partner.
On the other hand, while this was going on, Ren Sang was full of doubts.
One had to know that he had forgotten how many Shackles Realm cultivators he had killed over the years.
He didn't understand why a mere new Shackles Realm cultivator was able to fight against him for so long.
During their fight, Ren Sang noticed that although Chu Wuyao wasn't very familiar with the various skills she possessed, she seemed to be able to use countless strange skills.
Her swordsmanship, the weird black flames, the powerful illusions and her powerful physical body worked together, allowing her to neutralize most of his attacks.
This is also the reason why the fight had been going on for so long.
Of course, Ren Sang was only slightly surprised by this and he didn't become worried.
Looking at Chu Wuyao's body which was covered with wounds, Ren Sang smiled slightly.
"It is time for this farce to end.", he said with confidence.
After he finished saying these words, his figure disappeared for a split second, before flashing right in front of Chu Wuyao.
Holding the giant axe in his hands, Ren Sang poured all of his Mana in it and instantly, its size and weight increased even further.
In a blink of an eye, the axe had doubled both in size and in weight.
With difficulty, Ren Sang raised the giant axe above his head, as if he was raising a mountain with his own two hands.
His muscles stretched and he had to grit his teeth, feeling like an entire world was pressing against him.
Then, with slow movements, he let the axe drop towards Chu Wuyao.
When he saw that Chu Wuyao seemed to be shocked and didn't try to dodge at all, Ren Sang sneered.
"It is only a new Shackles Realm cultivator after all. With such little combat experience, you dare to fight against me?"
"You're seeking death!", he ridiculed, as the giant axe was about to penetrate Chu Wuyao's body and cut her in two.
However, just then, a sudden change happened.
Under Ren Sang's shocked eyes, the body of Chu Wuyao started squirming and then, her size started increasing, just like the axe he was holding in his hands.
In just a split second, Chu Wuyao's appearance had changed entirely, turning into a mini giant that wore a complicated golden armor on its torso.
"Slash!"
Ren Sang felt the axe fall on the golden armor and even though it penetrated it, it didn't go too deep but was stuck inside.
This, coupled with the change in Chu Wuyao's appearance, made him realize that something was wrong.
Instantly, he moved his arms and tried to pull his axe out of Chu Wuyao's body, but this short pause gave just enough time for Chu Wuyao to act.
"Roar!", Chu Wuyao's mouth opened wide and she made a strange sound, as a long tongue and countless razor-sharp teeth were revealed inside.
This scene was already quite terrifying, but the next second, her large arms moved towards Ren Sang.
Facing her attack, Ren Sang's intuition instantly warned him of danger.
He let go of the axe and wanted to step back and escape, but he found that a thin, elastic thing had wrapped around his waist at an unknown time.
When he lowered his head, he found that this "thing" was not an object at all, but a black tail that came from the back of Chu Wuyao's body.
"Slash!"
Not giving him any chance to recover from the shock, Chu Wuyao's long nails landed on his body and pierced right through his abdomen, leaving behind two large wounds.
These wounds looked terrifying, with blood constantly falling out and dripping to the ground.
However, despite these hideous wounds, Ren Sang's aura only fluctuated slightly and he didn't show any signs of dying.
Unfortunately, he had already lost the initiative in their fight.
After her nails pierced Ren Sang's abdomen, Chu Wuyao didn't relax at all.
Taking a look at the stunned Ren Sang in front of her, she showed no hesitation and pounced forward, her large hands wrapping around his waist.
Then, holding Ren Sang in her arms, she flew downwards.
"Booom!"
The two of them fell from the sky and hit the ground, leaving behind a huge pit, as if a meteor had fallen in this place.
As a result of the fall, Ren Sang found that most of his bones had been broken and countless wounds had appeared all over his body, while his eyes were filled with doubt.
No matter how he thought about it, he couldn't understand what had just happened.
He remembered that just not long ago, he had been steadily suppressing Chu Wuyao and it seemed that he would be able to kill her at any moment.
But in just a split second, the situation had completely changed.
Feeling the pain all over his body, Ren Sang understood that he had been tricked!
He knew that even though Chu Wuyao's current form was very strong, if he hadn't been caught off guard before, he would have no problem fighting against her.
At the very least, he could have easily escaped.
Unfortunately, there are no ifs in the world.
Desperate, Ren Sang raised his head and looked at the bloody monster that lay on top of him.
The countless sharp teeth, the long tongue, the shining nails that looked like weapons and the madness in Chu Wuyao's eyes were quite horrifying, but they also seemed to contain a strange sense of beauty.
"Don't kill m-..."
Ren Sang opened his mouth and tried to say something, wanting to beg for mercy. Stay connected with My Virtual Library Empire
Unfortunately, Chu Wuyao didn't give him the opportunity to say what he wanted.
Her right hand moved and it appeared right above his head.
The last thing Ren Sang saw was a bunch of long nails that were dripping with blood, falling towards his face.
"Bang!"
