Chapter 124: Leaving
Xu Zian sat silently in a small room, with a huge wound on his abdomen that was constantly dripping with blood, slowly falling to the floor.
Feeling the bad condition of his body, Xu Zian couldn't help but grit his teeth in anger.
"Damn natives! Lowly mortals, how dare you injure me?", he whispered, his face furious.
As a disciple of the Blood God Temple, when had Xu Zian ever suffered such humiliation by a bunch of "mortals"?
Originally, when Xu Zian received the memories of this body and discovered his identity and his current strength, he was very happy.
Although this was a completely strange, new world, with his strength as a True Warrior, his status as an Earl and his experience as a Late Stage Shackles Realm cultivator, Xu Zian believed that he would be able to thrive.
However, just when he was excited and started dreaming about his bright future, a Great Warrior suddenly jumped out of nowhere, yelling that he was an extraterrestrial demon and directly taking action against him.
In the end, even though Xu Zian was able to kill his opponent, he still suffered heavy injuries.
"I originally wanted to use my status as an Earl to slowly develop in this world, create my own force and control this continent."
"But now, it seems that this is no longer possible.", Xu Zian thought and the more he thought about it, the more he hated the Great Warrior that injured him.
If it wasn't for his current state, he have not hesitated to investigate his identity and then go to slaughter his entire family.
"Knock! Knock!"
Suddenly, a knocking sound came from outside the door, interrupting his thoughts.
"Come in.", Xu Zian said in a loud voice and following his words, a burly figure opened the door and walked into the room.

This figure was more than two meters tall, with muscles all over its body and the face of a middle-aged man.
If Chu Wuyao was here, she would realize that this was a person her predecessor knew very well, Roger, a True Warrior and the right-hand man of the Earl.
However, at this moment, Roger's face was completely expressionless and his eyes were empty, devoid of any sign of life.
His muscular body had lost its original healthy color and had turned white, like a piece of paper, while it was covered in weird black spots.
If it were not for the fact that he was standing somehow, everyone would have believed that he was just a corpse.
Silently, Roger walked in front of Xu Zian and waved his hands, dropping the thing that he was carrying on his shoulders to the floor.
"Bang!"
The sound of an object falling spread in the room, like a bag of trash falling on the ground.
But when Xu Zian's eyes landed on the "object", he understood that this was not an object at all, but a corpse.
From the memories that he had received, Xu Zian recognized this corpse was a servant of the mansion, who had followed and worked for the Earl for many years.
"Good job.", Xu Zian praised Roger and then, he waved his hand casually.
As if in response, the corpse that lay on the floor exploded, turning into a bloody mist that immediately rushed towards him.
The red mist flowed to his abdomen and surrounded the large open wound, drilling right into it.
At a speed that was visible to the naked eye, the wound started healing, with new skin growing at a rapid speed.
Unfortunately, this didn't last for long and soon, the blood mist completely disappeared, as if it had all been swallowed.
As a disciple of the Blood God Temple, although Xu Zian couldn't use his true cultivation, there were still many useful skills and techniques imprinted in his mind.
Even though these techniques and skills were nothing to be proud of in the Cultivation World, in the Inheritance World, they were enough to give him a huge advantage over the natives.
Of course, the use of such evil techniques was bound to be accompanied by massive disadvantages.
"More! More! Get me more corpses! More blood!", Xu Zian faced Roger and spoke in a hoarse voice, his eyes turning scarlet and containing countless emotions such as greed, desire, bloodthirstiness and cruelty.
Thankfully, the only other person in the room apart from him was Roger, otherwise anyone who faced such eyes would have fainted from fear.
Nodding his head stiffly, Roger remained silent and as if he had received orders, he slowly walked out of the room.
As he slowly took steps, a continuous cracking sound came out of Roger's body, sounding like the bones all over his body were breaking with each of his steps.
Despite this, his movements were very fast and soon, he left the room, closing the door behind him.
Only Xu Zian remained in the room, looking at the blood on the floor with a beastly gaze, while the wound on his abdomen squirmed eerily.

When Chu Wuyao saw this image in her mind, her resolve to leave this place became even more firm.
"Although this guy seems to be injured at the moment, he should have some way to regain his full strength for a short period of time.", she thought, not daring to underestimate other people, especially cultivators.
Chu Wuyao knew that just like her, other cultivators also had their own opportunities and most of them possessed at least a trump card in order to save their lives.
Since Chu Wuyao had the system and had the advantage of being a Devil, she would be a fool to stay in this place and risk her life to fight against another, potentially stronger, cultivator.
That was especially true when there was no advantage in doing so.
If it was for a treasure, a powerful technique or a powerful skill, Chu Wuyao might have considered fighting over it, but there was actually nothing to gain here.
"Fortunately, I've long realized that the only thing that matters is one's own strength and I've spent most of my time improving my own strength."
"Now, even if I abandon my status as the daughter of the Earl, I can still survive on my own with just my strength.", Chu Wuyao thought and her gaze landed on the transparent panel in her field of vision.
[Rank: True Warrior(2/2000) , True Magician(2/6000)]
In fact, apart from realizing that a cultivator had possessed the Earl, there was also another reason why she chose to leave this place.
Now that she had become a True Warrior and a True Magician, there was actually nothing else keeping her here.
After all, the only reason she didn't leave this place at first was to obtain the technique needed to practice, as well as learn some knowledge about the Inheritance World.
Now that both of these things had been achieved, it no longer made sense to stay here and limit herself.
For Chu Wuyao, the status of an Earl's daughter was worthless, not worth mentioning at all.
"Moreover, with the death of the people from the Holy Church, it is certain that someone will come to investigate.", she whispered and looking at Xu Zian's figure, she thought of something and smiled slightly.
