Chapter 819: Silvia
"Damien? Is that you?" the young girl asked in her soft and melodious voice.
The moment that girl said his name, Damien was left very confused. He was very sure that he had never met this girl in his life before. And yet, for some reason, that girl knew who he was just by sniffing him.
Damien lifted the invisibility spell from him and sat up. Then he asked that young girl while giving her a questioning gaze, "Who in the hell are you?"
The girl smiled and quickly covered her mouth when she saw the handsome man before her eyes. "Oh heavens! I wasn't a hundred percent sure, but it's really you!" she exclaimed without shifting her gaze away from Damien.
Damien hadn't still gotten his answer from her. Thus, he questioned her again, this time with a toned-down voice, "I am sorry, but… have we met each other before?"
The girl removed her palm from her mouth and then smiled at Damien again. And she replied in a mischievous tone, "Yes, we have. Why don't you try guessing?"
Damien narrowed his eyes a little and kept on looking at her. He tried to recall if he had encountered her somewhere before. However, he didn't recall meeting any other werewolves than Niylah in the past few weeks.
The girl tilted her head a little as she smiled even more broadly. She was enjoying seeing that confused look on Damien's face.
However, when they both heard the howling in a distance, that girl sighed and gave Damien a hint, "We met each other when we were very young… when I was very young."
Damien suddenly widened his eyes in realization when he noticed that girl subtly tilting her head while she smiled. He recalled someone who used to do the same while laughing.
And he finally exclaimed as a wide smile formed on his lips, "Silvia!" He lifted his hand to pat her head and then excitedly said, "I can't believe it! You've grown so much!"
"And so have you," Silvia replied while returning his smile with equal excitement.
Silvia then got up on her feet and asked Damien, "So, what are you doing in this part of the Earth? Last I heard, you had vanished into the depths of Hell."
"Now I am back," Damien replied as he helped himself up on his feet.
He then looked in the direction from where they could still hear the faint howls. And he answered Silvia, "I was traveling to a village here. But our coachman suddenly disappeared. So, I was pursuing those werewolves thinking that they were after his disappearance. And I stumbled upon you out of nowhere."
"Ah!" Silvia replied and she also turned her eyes in the same direction as Damien. The excited look in her eyes slowly turned into a restless glare. And she mumbled after looking back at him, "I thought a demon like you didn't need any carriages."
"I was going to explore a new village with a friend of mine. So, we decided to take the carriage," Damien replied without revealing much.
Silvia suddenly became excited again like a little puppy. "A friend? Is it Ariel? Or Ramon?"
"No." Damien shook his head.
"Then Niylah?" Silvia narrowed her eyes and asked in a spiteful tone, "Or is it that brat, Zach?"
"No." Damien took a deep breath and slowly uttered, "It's a new friend. I don't think you have met him."
"Oh!" Silvia gave a nod. Her gaze traveled back towards the direction where those werewolves from earlier had fled to.
Damien assumed that she was also after those werewolves for some reason and then asked her, "And what about you? Why is a Princess running around in the forest alone? That also in the middle of the night?"
"Shh…" Silvia narrowed her eyes at Damien and then shushed him. "I was chasing some thieves."
"Chasing thieves?" He smirked and didn't leave the chance to tease her, "But shouldn't you be in bed by now? I heard that children should get a lot of sleep for their brain development."
Silvia frowned and gave a side-eyed glare to Damien. "Who are you calling a kid? I am already fourteen!"
"Exactly!" Damien exclaimed and ruffled Silvia's black hair to show his dominance. "You should go back to the Palace. I will catch those thieves for you and then teleport them to the dungeon."
However, Silvia wasn't having it. She started to walk ahead while denying Damien's help. "They are my prey. And I will be the one to catch them and take credit for their capture."
"But there are at least five of them. How are you going to drag all of them back to the Palace?" Damien asked as he followed the Princess.
Silvia began transforming back into her wolf form. But before she completely transformed, she said, "I will manage somehow. Don't you worry, demon lord."
Damien smiled and ran closely after her anyway. "Well, I need to find my coachman. So, like it or not, I am coming along."
The two of them then ran at a great speed to catch up with those werewolves.
It took them several minutes to find and reach closer to those thieves.
Silvia narrowed her glowing amber eyes at those werewolves who were running in front of her. She snarled and pushed her to run even faster than before.
Damien, on the other hand, teleported a little ahead of those werewolves so as to block their path. He didn't see the coachman anywhere. But still, he wanted to help Silvia to catch them.
The werewolves found themselves trapped between their previous pursuer and some unknown man. Two of them tried to go around Damien. However, Damien was quick enough to punch them in their throat and make them collapse to the ground.
Silvia was impressed by how fast Damien was. Her eyes were barely able to keep up with him while he smacked the life out of those two werewolves who were running in opposite directions.
She quickly refocused on the ones who were still on their feet. The young wolf jumped on her feet and attacked the one who was right in front of her eyes.
That werewolf tried to fight back and resist. However, his efforts turned out to be futile in front of the well-trained daughter of the Crown Prince.
Silvia bit him on the neck and pinned him down with her foot. "Finally…" She glared at that wolf and snarled at him while breathing heavily.
And when she looked up to see if the other two were successful in running away, she found that they too were already down on the ground. She also saw Damien casually leaning against a tree with his arms crossed in front of his chest.
He flicked his brows at her and then asked, "What are you planning to do next?"

Silvia smacked that wolf that she was pinning down so as to make him unconscious. Then she transformed back to her human form again. And she asked Damien while scratching her head, "Since you are already here… why don't you teleport them to the dungeon? I will question them there and take necessary actions."
"Sure." Damien didn't ask another question. He simply went around and gathered all the wolves in front of Silvia. "I suppose you are also coming along with me then?" he asked her while holding out his hand.
Before taking Damien's hand, Silvia looked around and asked him, "I don't think they abducted your coachman though. They aren't kidnappers… just some petty robbers who had been troubling the merchants that took the forest roads at night."
"Ah!" Damien nodded and replied, "It's alright. I can find him after I drop all of you in the Palace."
Damien stepped on the pile of those wolves, and also tightly held Silvia's hand. And all 7 of them disappeared from that place in no time.
