Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 568 567: Killing Intent?!

The instant the three cloaked individuals entered the inn, the once bustling and rowdy inn became quiet for a moment as the men and women in the inn took a glance at the newcomers.

The three cloaked individuals paused at the door, and they took a glance at the Tainteds and Outsiders in the inn.

"Hey you guys, these guys sure have some nasty stares, huh?" The cloaked individual at the left whispered with his right hand covering his mouth, however, the cloaked individual at the right did not respond.

He took a step forward and walked towards the receptionist. The cloaked individual in the middle followed, and the last cloaked individual was stunned for a second before he quickly ran up to his companions.

The inn went back to how it previously was, however, some glances and whispers were thrown at the three cloaked individuals.

"You know you guys should actually be treating me with some respect right?" The cloaked individual said with a tinge of frustration and fake sadness as he caught up with the last two cloaked individuals.

He then turned to the cloaked individual at the right. "Especially you, kid. You lack some serious-."

Without even bothering to spare a glance at his companion, the cloaked individual stopped in front of the receptionist and spoke, completely disregarding the words of his companion.

"Three rooms."

The female receptionist stared at him for a two seconds, and then she shifted her gaze to the last two cloaked individuals. Three seconds passed, and then she shifted her attention back at the cloaked individual who spoke.

"Tainteds or Outsiders?"

When the female receptionist asked this, the noise in the inn reduced, and the three cloaked individuals could feel more gazes and attention landing on them.

"Outsiders." The cloaked individual with the largest physique replied once again with a calm and indifferent tone. There was a slight stir in the atmosphere of the inn when the cloaked individual replied.

To the surprise of the female receptionist and the others in the inn, the cloaked individual removed his hood, revealing an extremely handsome face that could put the beauty of gods, immortals, and saints to shame.

Although she could see his face because he was standing in front of her, she had not been able to see his full beauty, and because of this, she was stunned and taken aback by the immense beauty of the man before her.

Apart from the man's face, what mesmerized her the more was his dual-colored eyes of deep violet and sky blue color. It felt like she could see her dreams and fears materializing right in front of her as she stared into the man's eyes.

"Hmhm!" A cough resounded in her ears, and the female receptionist was shaken out of her dazed state.

"I-" She shifted her gaze from the man before her to the cloaked individual who coughed, however, his hood was no longer covering his face.

Once again, she was surprised when she saw that the man was also extremely handsome and beautiful, however, compared to the man directly in front of her, his beauty could not be compared to his.

'He has a more feminine beauty to his face, but the first man has a more masculine beauty.'

The female receptionist thought, and then she noticed something else. Her brown eyes landed on the dual colored eyes of the second man.

'He also has dual-colored eyes. His are crimson and deep blue. His red eye feels like a raging inferno and the essence of fire is burning in it, and his blue eye feels like it could freeze even the hottest place in the world.' Continue your adventure at My Virtual Library Empire

The female receptionist was slightly mesmerized by this, however, compared to the previous man's eyes which felt more… otherwordly, she was not shaken and mesmerized by the man's eyes.

She shifted her gaze to the last individual who was a woman. She was no longer covering her face, and the female receptionist could see her appearance in full.

Apart from her deadly and ensnaring beauty, the female receptionist also noticed that the female's eyes were different than normal. She had green vertical pupils that was like that of a reptile.

The female receptionist had no idea why, but she felt like she was staring at a snake that could devour her if she was not careful.

"How much?" The man with violet-blue eyes asked, and the female receptionist turned towards him. It took her a moment to gather her previous composure, and then she replied.

"Fifty Chaos coins a day. If you stay for more than two weeks, the price would be doubled."

The female receptionist replied, and although the man with violet-blue eyes had questions he wanted to ask, he chose not to.

He placed his hand inside his shirt, and then he brought out five black metallic coins with two colorless runes on it that. He placed the five chaos coins on the table.

When the woman saw the five chaos coins, she nodded slightly.

Chaos coins is the currency of the Shattered Dimension. They are black metallic shards with runes on them. They are forged from the essence of abominations, and the higher the level of the abomination, the more runes are inscribed on them.

One rune is gotten from a Lesser Abomination.

Two runes is gotten from a Greater Abomination.

Three runes is gotten from Nightmares.

Four runes is gotten from Titans.

There was no chaos coin with five runes or six runes because using the essence of a Principality or Power to create a chaos coin was considered a waste. Also, it was time consuming to create a chaos coin with the essence of a Principality or Power.

A chaos coin with one rune was counted as a single chaos coin. A chaos coin with two runes was counted as ten chaos coins. A chaos coin with three runes was counted as twenty chaos coins, and a chaos coin with four runes was counted as fifty chaos coins.

With the man before her dropping five chaos coins with two runes on them, that was equivalent to fifty chaos coins.

She looked at the last two individuals, and just like the man, they also dropped five chaos coins with two runes.

The woman packed the chaos coins, and then she brought a piece of paper made of goat skin. A pen with runes on it appeared in her left hand.

"Your names." She asked.

"Melissa."

Surprisingly, it was the female that answered first and not the man with violet-blue eyes. Although the female receptionist was curious, she didn't say anything. She wrote down the name.

"Divine."

The man with the red-blue eyes replied next, and the female receptionist wrote down the name. As she did, she took a glance at the last man who she was extremely curious about, and then he spoke.

"Smile Reaper."

'Huh? His name is Smile Reaper? What a weird and ominous name.' The female receptionist thought as she wrote down the name.

As she did this, she failed to notice the sudden change in Corey's expression the moment he said his name.

'Killing Intent?!' Corey thought with constricted pupils.
