Hashirama laughed, but after a moment, he got serious.
"Well, Madara," he said, looking at his friend.
"As Hokage, you'll have to accept tasks from wealthy people and assign our ninjas to complete them. In return, the village will get paid. You will be the leader of all of them."
He gestured toward the village.
"Our village is still under construction, and it'll take time to fully develop. You'll be busy handling all this."
Then, a thought came to him, and his eyes shined with excitement.
"Oh! And when the time comes, I'm thinking about carving the Hokage's face on that mountain over there!" Hashirama pointed at the tall rock formation behind the village.
"It'll be a symbol of strength, so the people will feel safe under the Hokage's protection. When they look at the mountain, they'll know someone is watching over them!"
He grinned.
"But for that, you'll need to change your face a little, Madara," he added with a laugh.
"You look too scary!"
Madara twitched.
"WHAT?! HASHIRAMA!" he shouted, pointing at himself dramatically.
"You think I look scary?!"
He crossed his arms.
"My face is way better than your depressing one, right, Hashirama?"
Madara smirked as he pointed back at Hashirama.
Hashirama pouted.
"You little—!"
Just like that, the two of them started bickering, pressing their heads together, arguing over who looked scarier and who had the more depressed face.
Then, suddenly…
They both burst into laughter.
But just as they were laughing, they heard someone call out.
"Big brother!"
Both Hashirama and Madara turned around.
Standing there were Tobirama and Izuna.
"You two are here!" Hashirama grinned.
"You made it hard to find you," Tobirama and Izuna said at the same time.
When they arrived, they saw their brothers talking happily and arguing like kids.
Both of them smiled.
It had been a long time since they saw their brothers like this.
After all, because of a marriage between Arata and someone from the Uchiha clan, Tobirama had started to understand the Uchiha better.
Over time, he even became friends with Izuna.
The two of them were very alike.
They were both middle children.
For Tobirama, his eldest brother was Hashirama, then came him, then his two younger siblings, who had died.
For Izuna, his eldest sibling was his sister, then Madara, then him, and then their younger siblings, all of whom had died in war.
Izuna's sister had been poisoned by the Senju.
Tobirama's brothers had been killed by the Uchiha.
Now, the only family Izuna and Madara had left was their niece.
So, in a way, both of them carried the burden of their clans.
And because they both knew what it was like to lose family, they had bonded over that.
For Tobirama, this was a big step.
Before, he had always thought that the Uchiha were like demons—people who gained power through hatred and loss, people who only became stronger after seeing their loved ones die.
But now, he finally understood.
The Uchiha didn't gain power from just pain.
They gained power from love.
Their will to protect the people they cared about turned into strength, just like how he loved his elder brother, Hashirama, and wanted to protect him.
It was the same for the Uchiha.
And the one who made him realize this was none other than his nephew, Arata Senju.
Even Tobirama had to admit—Arata had a gift.
He had a way of talking that could make people understand things they had failed to see for thousands of years.
Not just Tobirama, but even the other Senju had started to understand.
Even Hashirama himself once said—
"If Arata wasn't born… maybe this world would still be at war."
And now…
Here he was.
Arata could be seen sitting under a tree, lost in thought, roaming around aimlessly.
But in reality, his mind was working non-stop.
His main goal wasn't just marriage.
His real goal was to bring peace between the Senju and Uchiha—to truly unite them.
Because he knew…
In the future, the Ōtsutsuki clan would come.
He had already seen it—
Naruto and Sasuke, the two strongest shinobi, getting their asses kicked by Isshiki Ōtsutsuki.
They were so powerful, yet it wasn't enough.
When Arata thought about that, he felt fear—not for himself, but for the world.
The humans were too weak.
That's why he had to start preparing now.
If the Uchiha and Senju became stronger, they could train the next generation.
If Minato married into the Senju, then Naruto would have someone to watch over him—not just in the village, but within the Senju clan itself.
And if the Uchiha and Senju combined their power, they would be able to train him properly, making sure he would be strong enough in the future.
Yes…
This was Arata's true mission.
His side quest was just marriage.
Because in the future, even the Sage of Six Paths' power would mean nothing against Ōtsutsuki Shinjutsu.
Just look at Momoshiki, Isshiki, and Jigen.
Jigen had handled Naruto and Sasuke with ease.
Even Kurama, the strongest Tailed Beast, was treated like a pet.
It was terrifying.
Arata knew he would die one day, but that wasn't the real problem.
The real problem was—humanity itself could die.
So, he had to create a resistance to stop the Ōtsutsuki.
He imagined it—thousands of people using Susanoo against the Ōtsutsuki.
Yes, they would still lose.
But they would at least resist.
And that resistance would be enough.
Arata also had another plan.
He needed to reunite the Uzumaki clan.
If he could keep the Uchiha, Uzumaki, and Senju alive, there would be a chance to fight back against the Ōtsutsuki.
Because Uzumaki sealing techniques were strong enough to suppress even their Shinjutsu—if they had enough time and numbers.
That was his plan.
To keep these three clans alive.
To keep the world alive.
To build a true resistance against the Ōtsutsuki.
