Chapter 140: Regal Severance, Valtoria Imperial Sword Art
Tightly gripping the hilt of Regal Severance, Elyndra activated her Ruler's Aura (SSS), and the Crown of Absolute Dominion (SSS) was already activated beforehand.
Instead of wantonly releasing her Ruler's Aura, Elyndra channeled all of it towards the sword in her hand.
Not only Ruler's Aura, but also her own mana, aura, and rulership energy were all concentrated on Regal Severance. However, she still managed to control her energy output and didn't neglect protecting herself, allocating 10% of her energy to strengthen her physical body and improve her defenses.
Although it might seem like it took a long time, Elyndra completed all of them in under a second.
Feeling the concentrated energy in her Regal Severance, especially her tyrannical imperial aura being prominent in it, Elyndra had already completed her preparations as she tightly gripped the hilt of Regal Severance.
The Valtoria Imperial Swordsmanship was thoroughly mastered by her, and she even derived her own sword moves from it.
'Unless Mira or I go all out, I doubt the Demon King's throne room will be destroyed. So, I don't have to hold back anymore as the Demon King is already a worthy opponent for me at my current power rank.'
'No matter what schemes he had, as long as I destroy his throne room and force him out of it, then the runes and traps he placed there will be destroyed alongside it.'
Having such thoughts in her mind, Elyndra already performed a sword stance as she prepared to execute one of her sword moves.
She didn't have to worry about affecting Isolde and Mira with the aftermath of her attack, as her swordsmanship skills weren't that trash.
In just a second, the Regal Severance in Elyndra's hand emanated tyrannical might, as even without her deliberate use, just the energy emanating from it would cause those who were weaker than her to submit to her.
Feeling that the time was right, Elyndra jumped into the sky.
While she was up in the sky and above the floating throne room, she wielded Regal Severance and swung it downwards, "Valtoria Imperial Sword Art, Style 1: Kneel Before The Crown!"
As soon as she swung her sword downwards, a crushing wave of tyrannical might sublimated from her Imperial Execution (SSS) skill fell on the floating throne room!
Strangely, the crushing sword wave didn't possess the extreme sharpness that a swordsman of her level should have. Instead, a shockwave was generated that blasted and crushed everything in its path, as if she were using a cannon or hammer instead of a sword.
The shockwave generated from her sword move alone caused the surrounding space to tremble as if paying homage to the rightful ruler of this world.
As for the throne room, when it took the brunt of Elyndra's Valtoria Imperial Sword Art Style 1, the runes that protected it crumbled with little to no resistance.
Elyndra's energy contained innate tyrannical imperial might that even her sisters couldn't replicate, as it was one of the main reasons why Regal Severance greatly acknowledged her as its wielder.
Weak-willed individuals, even those who were equal or slightly stronger than her, would be reduced to mere Subjects if they were entangled with her rulership energy, let alone a concentrated, all-out sword move!
As soon as the throne room's runes crumbled, the walls and ceiling of the throne room fractured as web-like cracks appeared. Even if it was durable enough to withstand nukes made by Aria, Elyndra's Kneel Before The Crown was an attack at the level of S-rank!
In just a second, the crushing sword wave hit the throne room, and the floating throne room's defenses crumbled, revealing the Demon King who was sitting on his throne.
Whether it was due to his throne room being destroyed or the sudden appearance and power of Elyndra, or even both, the Demon King showed an expression of shock and awe. What followed it was fear.
Yes, even a high-ranking demon like him, who lived for more than five hundred years, had donned such terror in his eyes while gazing at a human whom he treated as mere livestock.
Never in his lifetime did he expect a mere human to destroy the Demon Kingdom he ruled and even threaten his life this much.
Unfortunately, the Demon King couldn't even negotiate or plead for his life, as his inaction had already led to his demise.
The crushing sword wave didn't exhaust its power yet, even after breaking the runes of the throne room as well as its walls and ceiling. So, it continued its path and locked onto the Demon King sitting on the throne.
"Human, you leave me no choice."
Cursing under his breath, the Demon King knew that he had already lost the opportunity to dodge, so he didn't insist.
Fifteen sigils flared brightly on his body as he activated the power of his sigils as well as demonic essence. The power of a peak A-rank Demon King burst out from his body and attempted to resist the crushing sword wave in front of him.
"Fifteen Demonic Sigils: Storm Breaking Fist!"
With his demonic essence amplified by the fifteen sigils and runes on his body, the Demon King Zarvul punched out a fist shadow that contained the power to sink an island and the attributes of a raging storm.
Alas, the Demon King overestimated himself too much.
In the face of a powerful sword move performed by Grandmaster-Level Swordsmanship powered by concentrated energy at S-rank, the Demon King Zarvul's fist shadow was vehemently crushed by Elyndra's sword wave.
After his fist shadow didn't even last a second, his physical body was the next to take the brunt of the crushing sword wave. Like a broken kite, he flew backwards with his bones crushed and patches of flesh mangled.
Since all the walls of the throne room were destroyed, Zarvul flew backwards as the force carried him out of the throne room and towards the sky.
Due to gravity and his temporarily knocked-out state, he couldn't keep his body steady in the sky, so he fell.
Landing on the ground, Zarvul's Blood Sigil took effect as the demonic blood in his body circulated faster and seemed to release healing properties, as it visibly recovered his tattered body from those grave injuries.
His crushed bones and mangled flesh recovered, making him look as good as new. If not for the fear still present in Zarvul's eyes as well as his shredded regal attire, he might have been able to deceive himself that he still had the upper hand.
Seeing Zarvul recover from her sword move, Elyndra remained indifferent as she was ultimately the winner in this confrontation.
'He might look good as new now, but my rulership energy has already invaded his soul. If enough of them are stacked, he'll eventually become my subject!'
Holding the hilt of Regal Severance tightly, Elyndra swung her sword while using her Imperial Execution's Judgment Blows into her strikes.
This time, she used basic sword moves and didn't use her named sword moves. However, each of her sword attacks blasted Zarvul as if he were being hit by a cannon, forcing him into passivity.
The tyrannical might from each swing of Elyndra's Regal Severance was wearing down Zarvul's thoughts of resistance.
He couldn't help but feel desperation as he complained inwardly, 'Where are those two? Why are they taking so long to get all those sigils?'
Just before the Demon King Zarvul branded those two Demon Lords as traitors in his mind, the two of them suddenly teleported and arrived.
It just so happened, or rather, was calculated by them, as the location of their arrival was where Zarvul was blasted by the shockwave of Elyndra's attack.
When Zarvul saw those two subordinates of his, his despair was transformed into hope as he could see that they heeded his commands.
In the hands of those two, A-rank Demon Lords were demonic sigils. There were a total of thirty-two demonic sigils they plundered from those Demon Dukes and other demons.
Even without them doing a villain monologue of their plans, Elyndra, Mira, and Isolde could already guess what they were planning.
'Even Veylan only has five sigils, yet he is already hailed as the Shattered Throne World's strongest human. And with fifteen demonic sigils, the Demon King Zarvul is the strongest demon in the Demon World.'
'So his cowardice and inaction, even if it cost his kingdom's destruction, was to use his kingdom and army to delay us so his two lackeys can collect the demonic sigils from other demons.'
'The power system of this world not only relies on base power but also on the amplification from sigils. With enough sigils, quantitative accumulation will lead to qualitative change. If Zarvul succeeds, it won't be impossible for him to step into the power of a One-Star S-rank.'
Realizing Demon King Zarvul's schemes, Elyndra sneered in her heart, 'If that's all, the Demon Kingdom had been destroyed unjustly with how incompetent its king is.'
Although Elyndra looked down on Zarvul as he wasn't worthy to be called a king, her arrogance, while present, didn't blind her. Even if she was confident she could defeat him, she wouldn't let Zarvul get a power-up!
But just as she was about to stop the two Demon Lords, someone beat her to it!
