SSS Class Awakening: Start With A God-Level Choice System

Chapter 141: The Slothful Adjudicator’s Guilty Verdict Judgment, Death Penalty Punishment!

At the side, Mira, who was currently sleeping, was still paying attention to the battle between Elyndra and the Demon King.

According to their plan, she'll use her power to nerf the Demon King so that Elyndra can defeat him without their lives being in any danger. However, no matter how thorough and complete a plan was, it would often fail to keep up with the unexpected realities of life.

Mira realized that, as she had to admit, Elyndra and she had overestimated the Demon King's power too much. They assumed he was powerful enough to threaten those at the S-rank, but it turned out he was just an average demon king at peak Three-Star A-rank.

'It turns out that Elyndra and I were just fighting an imaginary enemy we created. No matter how we overestimated the Demon King, his power was only a disappointment.'

'We had assumed he could contact another world or draw power from it, or even that he could perform a forbidden sacrificial ritual to improve his power, was not out of our expectations. But it turned out he sacrificed his kingdom and citizens just to delay time, truly a coward.'

'If that's all, even if the Demon King gathers all the demonic sigils in the Demon World, he'll still not be as powerful as Elyndra is. After all, he lacks a rule-based ability, so he only has raw combat power.'

When Mira thought about it, she felt helpless, 'At this rate, I won't even be able to participate in the battle. No matter what, I still need to at least participate, or else my rewards will be calculated less by the Earth Will.'

With that thought in mind, Mira, who was slacking off, no longer did. When she noticed the two Demon Lords appear out of nowhere, she was confident that Elyndra could easily deal with them.

But as she believed, she must participate in the battle against the Demon King or else she won't be able to share most of the reward contribution. Mira wasn't insidious enough to steal a kill from Elyndra, as she wouldn't mind her best friend having the most rewards for killing the Demon King.

However, the two Demon Lords must fall at her own hands!

In her dreamscape, Mira was already actively using the Ledger of Absolute Truth (SSS) against the two Demon Lords.

[Class Exclusive Skill: Ledger of Absolute Truth

Skill Rank: SSS

Skill Abilities:

(1) You possess access to the Ledger of Absolute Truth, an infallible conceptual record detailing every deed, intention, cause, and consequence of any being across time, realms, and dimensions.

(2) The Ledger cannot be falsified, concealed, or altered; even gods and conceptual entities are recorded without bias. It contains the entire chain of karmic causality—from the smallest petty theft to the grandest cosmic crime.

(3) By opening the Ledger in your perception, you instantly know the truth of any event, the guilt or innocence of the involved parties, and the magnitude of their karmic weight.

(4) Lies, false memories, and illusions shatter instantly before the Ledger's authority, leaving only the unvarnished reality visible to you.

(5) When you pass judgment based on the Ledger, the verdict gains absolute certainty—causality, fate, and even narrative forces bend to enforce it, with no room for appeal or deception.]

Mira's awareness slid lazily toward the two newly arrived Demon Lords.

The moment her attention brushed over them, the Ledger of Absolute Truth opened, not as a book she flipped through but as an infinite lattice of reality itself unraveling in her mind.

Pages did not turn; instead, entire centuries bled into her perception.

She saw them wading through burning villages, laughing over the screams.

She saw hands dripping with blood, sometimes human and sometimes demon, and acts so depraved they could not be dignified as warfare.

She saw chains dragging prisoners into pits, children tossed into pyres, worlds scoured of life because the Demon Lords were bored.

She saw the smug relief of their victims' last breaths and the quiet cruelty of letting the survivors live only to suffer longer.

In demon culture, these were marks of glory, proofs of dominance and strength.

In Mira's eyes, they were an overflowing, undeniable ledger of guilt.

Her voice carried out of the Dreamscape, soft and almost disinterested, yet it rolled across the battlefield like the tolling of a world's final bell:

"Ledger confirms all entries.

I charge Demon Lord Varkhal and Demon Lord Seresh with crimes against humanity, mass rape, genocide, plunder, slavery, human trafficking, planetary ecocide, and unprovoked dimensional incursions."

"Verdict: Guilty."

"Punishment: Death Penalty."

The moment the words left her lips, Indolent Tribunal (SSS) took hold.

The world around the Demon Lords froze, not because time stopped, but because the narrative itself no longer permitted them to move.

Their collected sigils flickered violently, rejecting their owners. The power they had stolen unraveled into nothing, as if reality itself was ashamed to house it.

Their bodies convulsed under the invisible weight of the verdict, every cell recognizing the inevitability of their end.

Neither plea nor resistance formed on their lips, not because they lacked the will, but because causality had already written them into the past tense.

Two sharp cracks echoed through the Demon Kingdom, not of bone, but of existence snapping shut.

In the next instant, Varkhal and Seresh were simply gone, erased so completely that the ground where they had stood no longer remembered their footprints.

From her reclined position, Mira exhaled softly and turned over in her dreamscape bed, pulling the blanket a little tighter.

"…Trial concluded," she murmured, and went back to laze around.

Not only was she sleeping in the real world, but she was even lazing on her bed in her dreamscape world!

In the real world, Elyndra, Isolde, and Demon King Zarvul heard Mira's dreamlike voice as well as the trial she just concluded.

Isolde didn't comment, but she acknowledged just how powerful Mira was. On the other hand, Elyndra was speechless as even without Mira's support, she could easily kill the two Demon Lords before they could transfer the demonic sigils they plundered to Demon King Zarvul.

Nevertheless, she and Isolde already knew Mira's intentions, so Elyndra didn't complain, as it couldn't be denied that Mira had indeed assisted her even if she didn't need it.

As for Demon King Zarvul, he mentally collapsed. He fell into despair before, then regained hope after the Demon Lords' arrival, then fell into deeper despair when he realized his enemies' power.

Forget about Mira's rule-based ability to charge others for their crimes and enact punishments for those with a guilty verdict. Zarvul was already facing his inevitable doom when fighting against Elyndra.

His mind went blank, and he couldn't even muster the will to fight as he had already lost it. No matter how arrogant he was, he knew just how powerful he was. So, he estimated that even if he got all the demonic sigils, he wasn't confident enough to defeat them. Let alone now that his two subordinates failed to pass the demonic sigils to him.

'How come they possess weird powers? Did humans invent new abilities from those sigils that even I don't know of?'

No matter how the Demon King Zarvul racked his brains, he wouldn't be able to guess that Elyndra, Mira, and the others were not from this world. After all, while this world possesses magic spells and sigils, the existence of the Otherworld was inexplicable for them.

While the Demon World might seem like an "Otherworld" to those from the Shattered Throne World, the natives of both worlds didn't see it that way. The energy they both use was similar, and even the runes and sigils.

It was similar to the existence of Terra and other planets in its solar system, like Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, etc.

The natives of both the Demon World and the Shattered Throne World were already accustomed to each other's existence, and since their power systems were almost similar, they didn't know the existence of a worldview above theirs and dared not think of it.

In most cases, only those worlds with SSS-rank existences or those with high technology would be able to guess the existence of the Otherworld and the Gods.

The natives of these two worlds were unqualified, as even at their peak, they were only A-rank worlds.

While Zarvul had already lost his will to fight, Elyndra didn't stop as she had no intentions of ending the battle.

Elyndra didn't even need to raise her Regal Severance. She merely did an all-out release of her Ruler's Aura to brand the mark of a Subject on Zarvul.

Since Zarvul no longer had the will to resist her and his Spirit attribute was at its all-time low, he was naturally marked with the Subject mark by Elyndra.

After successfully branding Zarvul as her subject, Elyndra felt that her Rulership Energy stat attribute increased moderately.

'It will be a waste to kill Zarvul and exterminate all the demon race. They'll be put to good use after I mark them as my subjects and incorporate this world into the Valford Empire's territory. That way, my power will be able to increase to the limit.'
