Strongest Soldier King

Chapter 976: Airport Arrest

As night fell, and the city lights began to glow, Beijing quickly entered another kind of bustle, with neon lights flickering and traffic streaming continuously. In the International Airport Customs Entry and Exit Hall, Hong Meihua, dressed in casual attire, sat quietly in a café on the second floor, gazing intently at the flow of people emerging from the airport while slowly stirring her coffee with a small metal spoon, her expression indifferent.

After a while, Hong Meihua saw a few people emerge from the diplomatic corridor. Leading the group was the deputy ambassador of Sam Country stationed in China, accompanied by a blonde assistant, and two young men in their thirties trailing behind with suitcases, dressed impeccably in suits, looking like attendants.

"You think disguising yourself as a deputy ambassador and taking the diplomatic corridor can let you slip through? I've been waiting a long time for you." Hong Meihua sneered, put down the spoon, inserted an earpiece the size of a button into her ear, and calmly said, "Team one, action, target, the deputy ambassador of Sam Country coming out of the diplomatic corridor."

Just then, a travel group suddenly appeared, led by someone holding a small flag, followed by seven or eight young men and women pushing luggage carts. The leader, looking flustered, ran forward, shouting, "Please let us through, our flight is about to take off. Thank you, please let us through."

This group quickly rushed past, heading straight for the deputy ambassador's party coming out of the diplomatic corridor. They moved swiftly, the sound of carts clattering drawing a lot of attention and also catching the notice of those emerging from the diplomatic corridor, who perhaps eager to avoid trouble, quickly stepped aside.

The travel group seemed anxious, their carts swaying left and right as if each side was dodging the other. The deputy ambassador couldn't dodge and was hit head-on. The leading tour guide immediately stopped and asked concernedly, "I'm sorry, are you alright?"

"It's fine, just go." The deputy ambassador said discontentedly.

The guide, appearing worried, asked, "Are you injured, do you need a hospital?"

"Just go." The deputy ambassador repeated, frowning, sensing something was wrong but restrained, knowing he couldn't act out under so many eyes.

Hong Meihua watched the scene calmly, smiled, and softly said, "Team two, proceed."

A male and a female police officer suddenly ran up, the male officer loudly asking, "What's going on here?"

The tour guide hurried to explain, "I'm sorry, my group member accidentally bumped into this person. It was our fault, we were in too much of a hurry. We're willing to bear any consequences."

"Consequences?" The male officer asked, looking questioningly at the deputy ambassador, "Are you injured? Show your IDs, and we'll have to coordinate this at the station."

"No need, we're staff from the Sam Country Embassy in China, racing against time, let's just drop this." The deputy ambassador stressed, his eyes growing serious.

"Embassy staff? In that case, it's an international incident. This isn't something we can handle; it needs to be reported." The male officer stated sternly, looking official.

"Nonsense staff, looks more like drug dealers to me." Suddenly shouted a member from the travel group.

"Watch your words." The female officer came over and reprimanded.

"Wouldn't verifying if they're drug dealers clear this up? Look at his suit pocket; it got pushed by the cart just now. Why is there white powder by the pocket's edge?" The travel group member pointed accusingly at the deputy ambassador.

Both the female and male officers immediately became alert, stepped back two paces, and looked at the deputy ambassador's pocket, indeed finding a powdery substance. The male officer quickly drew his gun and shouted, "Raise your hands, don't move, submit to inspection." The female officer picked up the radio to call for colleagues.

Soon, several officers rushed up, surrounding the four people with the deputy ambassador. Realizing the situation was aimed at him, the deputy ambassador turned to flee, but the police were prepared and pinned him down, with someone stepping forward to cuff him. The blonde assistant ran up with a cold expression and shouted, "I'm the secretary of the Sam Country Embassy in China, is this how you treat friends? Here is my ID, I expect an explanation."

An officer stepped forward to check the ID; it was indeed real, as were the IDs of the other two young men checked afterward. A lead-looking officer approached the deputy ambassador, scrutinized him, and asked, "Why run if there's nothing wrong? ID."

"The ID is with me." The blonde assistant called out.

The lead officer coldly received and checked it; the ID was genuine too, the photo matching the person. The lead officer examined the deputy ambassador, then suddenly moved lightning-fast, rubbing vigorously at the deputy ambassador's face, revealing a silicone mask, which was peeled off to show a different face beneath, causing an uproar among the surrounding travelers.

"How do you explain this?" The lead officer coldly demanded, "Take them away."

The blonde secretary and the other two staff members were dumbfounded, their faces changing drastically, clearly unaware that the deputy ambassador was an impostor, and dejectedly followed the officers away.

"Trying to outsmart me?" Hong Meihua watched this scene calmly, smiled discreetly, continued stirring the small spoon to swirl the coffee in her cup, and said into the earpiece, "Take them all to the base for a thorough interrogation. We must find out their real purpose here."

"Sister Hong Meihua, my sister and the others have returned, they're asking about the situation on your end." Lan Xing's voice came through the earpiece.

"Caught a fish, not sure if it's big enough, no clues on the Reincarnation Killers. Seems this bunch of bastards are determined not to leave, what's their status?" Hong Meihua asked softly, masking her expression.

"Caught Shijing Teng, that's a big fish." Lan Xing exclaimed excitedly.

"It indeed is a big fish." Hong Meihua also sighed, "With him, we can access a lot of intelligence, which will be very beneficial for future actions. It all depends on Ghost Hand's operation tonight. If their net hauls in a good catch, we might finally regain some face and take the initiative."

"Yes, these bastards have been too arrogant, wreaking havoc in Beijing, and assassinating Advanced engineers. Luckily, we captured quite a few, and now with Shijing Teng in hand, and you've caught a big one too, the country's face is finally saved, otherwise it would have been difficult to justify." Lan Xing said with some emotion.

"Is everyone okay?" Hong Meihua asked concernedly.

"Brother-in-law and Brother Mountain Eagle got a bit hurt, not life-threatening, but they might have to stay in the hospital for half a month." Lan Xing replied casually, suddenly startled and shouted, "Bad news, something's happened on Ghost Hand's side, requesting support."

"What's happening?" Hong Meihua exclaimed, stopping her spoon, her expression turning serious.
