SUMMONER'S JOURNEY

Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Welcome to Fairy Tail

January 12, X784 – Fairy Tail Guild Hall

"So, you're here to join?" Merajane said cheerfully.

Richard nodded and reached into his spatial ring, pulling out a sealed envelope with Dwarf Gear's insignia on it.

"I have a recommendation letter from Dwarf Gear," he said, handing it to her.

Mirajane similed slightly as she took the letter. "Oh? That's rare. It's not often we get a new member through recommendation from other guilds"

She turned toward the back of the hall and called out, "Master! We have a new applicant!"

An extremely short, elderly man with thick white mustache. His attire consisting of a white shirt with a black Fairy Tail stamp in the middle under an orange

hoodie and a jester hat.

If wasn't for Richard has seen him in Magzine before he couldn't recognized him —Makarov Dreyar, the Guild Master of Fairy Tail.

Makarov took the letter from Mirajane and gave Richard a once-over before reading through its contents. His expression was unreadable as he read, nodding slightly.

"Hmm… Summoning Magic huh?" Makarov muttered, rubbing his chin.

Richard stood straight , obviously nervous said. "Yes, sir. My parents were part of Dwarf Gear, but after their passing, I trained alone in Ironclad. Recently, I decided it was time to join a guild, and Fairy Tail seemed like the best choice."

Makarov studied him for a moment, then let out a chuckle. "Well, even without the letter you are always welcome to join us."

Richard blinked in surprise. "Really?"

Makarov grinned and placed his hands behind his back.

"There are many members in Fairy Tail, each with their own set of problems—some with nowhere to go, some who can't even explain where they came from. But it doesn't matter."

Makarov then placed a hand on his chest and looked up at Richard with a warm but firm gaze.

"It's because of that insecurity that we need companions, and that's why we have guilds."

"Everyone supports each other , to improve with we each other and to cover each other weakness, that is why we regard each other as family."

"This is the our way …"

He then stretched out a hand.

"Fairy Tail guild's way."

Richard shook his hand firmly. "Thank you, Master Makarov."

Around them, several guild members cheered, raising their mugs in a toast.

"A new member, huh? Welcome!"

Richard couldn't help but smile.

---

The process of joining the guild is very simple.

Makarov took Richard to the front to find Mira and added his' name to the list of members.

"This is Magnolia City, located in the east of the Kingdom of Fiore. It has a population of about 70,000 and has been a city where magic has flourished since ancient times."

"Fairy Tail is the only formal guild in this city. And then this..."

Since Richard lives in Ironclad before he laked general knowledge about this place, Mirajane had to start with the geographical location.

When she talked about Fairy Tail, she took out something like a seal and asked Richard to choose a favorite color and the location of the emblem.

Richard pulled his right golve and asked Mirajane to help him stamp the silver emblem on the back of his right hand.

The process was as simple as stamping an ordinary seal.

Although Richard has seen similar types of marks in DRAWF GEAR guild he still felt that it was no different from the previous touch. Still he asked just to confirm it

"This shouldn't fade, right?"

"Of course not." Mirajane put away the seal and explained,

"This emblem represents the wizard of Fairy Tail. It can be used to prove your identity no matter where you are."

"Final an official mage..." Rhodes put on his arm glove and but then asked nervous

" Hmm Do we have a generally target that he have to reach like number of commision he have to take ?"

"Don't worry about it , Each mage is free to do his or her mission and there is no strict quotes for them." Mirajane said,

He was about to ask about other guild policies, but a sudden shouting match interrupted him.

"Oi, Nab! You lazy bum! You just stand in front of the job board but never take a mission!"

A middle aged man with f average height with short, straight, slicked back dark blue hair yelled at A tribal-looking man with tattoos and a headband,

"Hey, hey, choosing the right mission is important!" Nab shot back.

Richard blinked. "Uh… are they serious?"

"Eh, it happens all the time," Mirajane said casually.

Just as Richard was about to ask more questions, Nab threw his drink at Macao.

Macao dodged, and the drink hit another mage, who turned with a furious glare.

"You bastards…"

And just like that, a full-scale brawl erupted.

Chairs were flying, tables were toppling, and someone crashed through a wall.

Richard barely dodged a table leg, sidestepping as a mage was sent soaring across the room.

"Should we stop them?!" Richard asked.

"Nah." Mirajane giggled, completely unbothered. "Isn't it interesting and lively?"

Richard stared in disbelief. "This is what you call lively?!"

Suddenly a bottle came flying and hit mira.

"Miraaaa"
