A murmur reached her ears, and at that moment, it was the final straw for Princess Koyuki.

"Save them! Save them! I'll promise you anything! Please, hurry!" Koyuki screamed, her voice filled with desperation.

On the locomotive, a spiked avalanche suddenly appeared. A man knelt on one knee before Dotō Kazahana and asked, "Shall we let our men handle these people?"

Dotō's eyes narrowed with a faint smile as he shook his head. "No. I want them to feel true despair. Only then will they submit willingly."

With a wave of his hand, Dotō signaled the ninja inside the train, who were always on standby. The steel plates on the side of the armored train shifted, revealing a honeycomb-like array of mechanisms.

Dotō's voice was cold and commanding. "Fire!"

At his order, the mechanisms on the train activated, launching a barrage of kunai and shuriken toward the warriors.

Koyuki's heart sank as she watched in horror. In her eyes, Naruto hadn't moved.

But was Naruto really standing still?

The samurai warriors charged down the hillside, and Naruto leaped into action. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Poof! Four hundred shadow clones appeared, spreading across the battlefield.

Two hundred clones positioned themselves in front of the samurai, shielding them from the incoming attack. The other two hundred clones either carried or dragged the fifty or so warriors to safety behind the hill, avoiding the deadly barrage.

Naruto gritted his teeth, his face expressionless, though his body trembled slightly from the strain.

It hurts!

Despite the pain, Naruto didn't forget to remind Koyuki. "Remember, you owe me a promise."

After the first round of attacks, Kakashi, Hinata, and Sasuke arrived on the battlefield. Once Naruto had left, Hinata had been tracking the situation with her Byakugan. As soon as they realized what was happening, the team rushed to the scene.

Sasuke leaped onto an ice peak and placed several explosive tags. The detonations caused an avalanche, sending massive chunks of ice tumbling toward the train.

Dotō's voice rang out. "Retreat!"

The train started moving, quickly escaping the avalanche. Despite the massive explosion and the ice crashing down, the train managed to get away.

Kakashi, Hinata, and Sasuke chose not to pursue, instead staying to protect Koyuki.

Hinata ran over to Naruto. "Naruto! Are you okay?"

Naruto grinned. "I'm fine."

Kakashi approached, his tone approving. "You did well, Naruto. Very well."

Naruto accepted the compliment with a calm smile.

The Third Prince, along with the warriors of the Land of Snow, expressed their gratitude. Naruto waved it off generously. "Don't worry about it. Your boss already made a promise."

The Third Prince then turned to Koyuki, bowing deeply. Koyuki ignored him, walking back to the convoy alone.

However, no one expected the Snow Country ninja to return.

From beneath the icy cliffs, a massive airship rose into the sky.

Kakashi's instincts kicked in. "Something's wrong!"

As the airship ascended, a female ninja with mechanical wings glided past, scattering dozens of kunai tied with thin threads and blue crystals.

Kakashi shouted, "Dodge!"

Everyone scattered, avoiding the kunai. The blue crystals exploded, sending sharp ice spikes shooting up from the ground, some reaching five or six meters high.

At the same time, a hatch opened on the airship. The fat man who had fought Naruto earlier aimed a mechanical arm at Koyuki and fired, capturing her effortlessly.

The airship climbed higher, leaving the ninja on the ground powerless to stop it.

Kakashi suddenly realized someone was missing. "Where's Naruto?"

Everyone looked around, but Hinata's eyes were fixed on the airship. "Naruto… he's on the airship."

Kakashi's gaze followed. "We're chasing that reckless idiot!"

Meanwhile, Naruto clung to the underside of the airship using chakra.

Kurama's voice echoed in his mind. "You're being awfully bold… Those guys aren't easy to deal with."

Naruto replied, "That's why I have you, Kurama. I wouldn't dare do this otherwise."

Kurama snorted. "I won't intervene unless it's a matter of life and death."

Naruto grinned. "That's all I need, Kurama-sensei."

Kurama grumbled but said nothing more.

The airship soared higher, and Naruto slipped inside unnoticed. The guards were lax, likely not expecting anyone to infiltrate.

Naruto soon found Koyuki.

She was sitting on a sofa, her hands free, seemingly unharmed. The encounter between Koyuki and Dotō appeared almost cordial, like a normal conversation between uncle and niece.

Dotō looked at Koyuki with a kind expression. "You've grown into a beautiful young woman, Koyuki."

Koyuki leaned back on the sofa, her legs crossed, her eyes closed.

Dotō's tone shifted. "Do you have the hexagonal crystal with you?"

Koyuki nodded. "Yes."

Dotō smiled. "Good. That crystal is the only bond left to the Kazahana family… and the key to the secret treasure."

Koyuki's eyes snapped open. "The key to the secret treasure?"

Dotō explained, his voice calm and measured. "When I took over this country from your father, the Kazahana family had nothing left. Your father must have hidden the treasure somewhere. After searching everywhere, I finally found it. The treasure is hidden behind the Rainbow Ice Wall, and the hexagonal crystal is the key to unlocking it. So, hand it over."

Koyuki hesitated, then reached for the crystal around her neck.

Dotō's expression darkened as he examined it. "This… is a fake!"

Koyuki panicked. "That's impossible!"

She suddenly remembered something. "Kakashi! He must have taken it when he entered my room!"

Dotō's eyes narrowed. "Kakashi?"

The man beside him, Nadare Rōga, spoke up. "If it's him, it's not surprising. He's the one who took the crystal during our first ambush."

Dotō's anger subsided, replaced by a cold calm. "No matter. He'll come to us soon."

He turned back to Koyuki. "Koyuki, you're a famous actress now. How about putting on a performance for me? Once I have the crystal, no one will be harmed. I only want the crystal."

Koyuki stepped back cautiously. "What are you planning?"

Dotō smiled. "Those ninja will come to rescue you. Once they do, ask Kakashi for the crystal and bring it to me. Don't worry—I won't harm them. I just want to see that boy again. It's been a long time since I last saw him."

He paused, his tone almost nostalgic. "Back then, you were just a child. When I took this country from your father, it was the Konoha ninja who saved you from me. He's a remarkable ninja, that one."
