Superman - Rise of an Empire

Chapter 21: Chapter 22 – The Age of Krypton

The world had changed.

Superman's rule was not one of tyranny, but of efficiency.

Under his leadership, war became a thing of the past. Hunger, poverty, and crime were nearly eradicated. Disease was being cured.

But it wasn't just his strength that reshaped the world—it was Kryptonian technology.

A New World, Rebuilt

From the Arctic, the Fortress of Solitude became the new center of global leadership. Superman and his team—scientists, engineers, and advisors—developed advanced cities, replacing crumbling infrastructures across the planet.

Solar Towers: Kryptonian energy cores provided unlimited clean energy to every nation. World Networks: A new form of communication, faster than anything Earth had seen, connected the planet. Medical Advances: Kryptonian biotech eliminated most diseases, extending human lifespans.

Superman didn't just rule—he rebuilt civilization from the ground up.

The Council of Earth

Superman didn't govern alone.

He established the Council of Earth, composed of the world's greatest minds—including Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, and top human leaders.

This wasn't a democracy. It was a global directive, ensuring that Earth never fell back into chaos.

Some world leaders resisted at first, but Superman made it clear:

"This is not a choice. This is survival."

Batman's Concerns

Bruce watched from the shadows.

Yes, the world was safer. Stronger. Smarter.

But was it free?

There were no elections. No debates. No opposition.

Superman wasn't a dictator, but he was absolute.

One night, on the rooftop of Gotham, Diana met Bruce.

"You don't trust him," she said.

Bruce exhaled. "I trust Clark. I don't trust power."

Diana placed a hand on his shoulder. "He's doing what's necessary."

Bruce's jaw clenched. "That's what I'm afraid of."

The Underground Resistance

Not everyone accepted Superman's rule.

Small resistance groups formed in secret, calling themselves The Free Legion. They saw Superman as a benevolent tyrant—a ruler with too much power.

And their leader?

Oliver Queen.

From the shadows, Green Arrow and his allies gathered, preparing for the day when they would have to remind Superman what it means to be human.

A Warning from the Stars

As Superman reshaped the world, something far beyond Earth was watching.

A distress beacon from the ruins of Warworld reached the depths of space.

And on the other end, a force unlike any other heard it.

Something was coming.

And even Superman's empire might not be enough to stop it.
