Supreme Lord: I can extract everything!

The fight between the High Elf, Belleanis – also known as Bella –, and Lilica started immediately. They were roughly at the same Tier, but Bella was much faster than Lilica.

She conjured two Dagger Artifacts in her hands and charged forward. Her feet didn’t even touch the ground anymore when she used her Soultrait to accelerate. Gusts of wind swirled around Bella’s feet, allowing her to walk on the wind, just like a windwalker.

’So one Soultrait is Windwalker or something eerily similar to such a Soultrait.’ Lilica noted. She was already aware that Bella had at least two Soultraits. One that allowed her to drain the lifeforce of her targets and Windwalker. That wasn’t too great, given that the High Elf seemed to possess a Soullife Arts and Soul Techniques for both Soultraits. She was still a Lord, whereas Lilica was a Subordinate.

She twisted her body to an uncomfortable degree, evading a series of attacks, and summoned a shortsword in her hand when Bella’s dagger was about to stab her in the neck. That was a little deadlier than Lilica had hoped, but it was still fine.

She released a burst of energy and exerted both Silent Reaper and Invisibility. Silent Reaper didn’t evolve even after it was upgraded to 7-Star. It grew a lot stronger, but that was about it. However, Invisible Projectiles evolved into Invisibility once it reached 8-Star. Lilica had been worried that upgrading Invisible Projectiles would waste time and resources, but Michael was certain the Soultrait would transform into something incredibly powerful.

That was exactly what happened. Invisibility could be applied to her body, clothes, and almost everything else, including her Artifacts and projectiles. Combined with Silent Reaper, which concealed her energy fluctuations, vibrations, and sounds, and once upgraded to 7-Star, even her scent.

Her invisibility allowed her to skulk throughout the arena, retrieving her Legendary Bow Artifact and quiver filled with rare, high-quality arrows. Lilica was calm and composed, which was the complete opposite of Bella. Bella charged around the arena, trying to find Lilica. She released bursts of energy in all directions, trying to find the faintest hints of her presence.

"Show yourself, you forest whore!!!" Bella roared when she couldn’t find Lilica right away. Her cheeks flushed red in anger, and her energy burst out even stronger and farther.

’Does she really think something like that will work, or is she worked up that easily? Maybe she is just scared of me? Of the rumors about me and my people? The legends revolving around the Super Awakened Michael has trained. Even if we, Forest Elves, aren’t that well known, everyone knows the Super Awakened created by Michael. Everyone knows what the New Primal has achieved.’

At last, Bella’s energy shockwaves located Lilica, but it was already too late.

Lilica finished her preparations a few seconds prior and was ready to release it all.

Weakness Detection, which evolved into Weakness Exploitation once it was upgraded a few times, had been activated, locating six weak spots in Bella’s defense. Lilica nocked a strong arrow on the bow, pulled the string back, and activated Bullseye and Rupture. Bullseye’s potency skyrocketed after it was upgraded. It was even stronger than it used to be. In the meantime, Rupture was a powerful Soultrait that applied to blades or sharp objects. Once applied, the wounds inflicted through the blades and sharp objects would rupture, inflicting even more damage than usual.

Lilica replicated Mika’s Rapid Fire Soultrait by using Foundation Break – a gift from Michael – to increase her physical characteristics drastically for a moment. That was enough to release a series of six invisible arrows.

Lilica undid her invisibility and stored the Legendary Bow Artifact the instant the arrows left the bowstring. She waved happily and looked around with a smirk as the invisible projectiles found their target. They collided with the High Elf’s skin, pierced her wrists, elbows, and what Lilica presumed to be old wounds picked up by Weakness Exploitation and inflicted great damage.

The High Elf screamed in pain as Rupture did its wonders. The arrows ruptured through the High Elf, forcing her to the ground the instant her weak spots were hit. She screamed like there was no tomorrow as Lilica approached her. Bella used her Drain Soultrait, but it was to no avail.

"I figured your lifeforce draining Soultrait required you to injure me. Sorry, but that doesn’t work for me," Lilica said while releasing her energy to crush the High Elf. It was interesting how easily some Divine Lifeforms could be defeated. Lilica didn’t expect all six arrows to hit the target. Then again, her Legendary Bow Artifact had several enchantments and a special feature that increased the projectiles’ velocity by a few times as long as enough energy was supplemented.

That was what Lilica had done to quickly release a series of six arrows. It worked out well, and Bella was done. Threads of energy pulled the arrows out, but Lilica wasn’t careful. She used as much force as possible to worse the damage to Bella as she pulled the arrows out.

"The arrows are poisoned. If you don’t drink the antidote within half an hour, you will be dead. You better give up now," Lilica said lightly, but the fear in Bella’s eyes was real.

"I…I surrender…"

She stuttered while raising her hands to plead for the antidote. Lilica snickered and retrieved a glass vial filled with water. Bella took it in a hurry and swallowed the content. She didn’t feel anything, but it wasn’t like she had been feeling sick or poisoned in the first place.

That was because Bella was never poisoned in the first place. Lilica said she would make sure Bella surrendered and warned her friends.

Lilica reached for Bella’s collar and hurled her across the arena without care. She landed heavily before her friends, who threw a descending look at the woman they’d praised and joked with just a minute ago.
