Chapter 41: Rebellion Against Heaven - Part 28

Chapter 28: Daichi's Hell

Daichi gasped, his chest rising and falling rapidly. The pain was still burning in his thigh and knee, but his body was already healing. His bones settled with a nauseating sound, the skin closed and the blood stopped flowing.

Ryuusei laughed with delight.

"This is wonderful," she whispered, leaning over him. I can break you as many times as I want... And you'll be as good as new again.

Before Daichi could react, Ryuusei took the dagger again and slid it over his abdomen, with a clean and deep cut. Blood gushed out as Daichi stifled a scream, feeling the blade burn on his skin.

"Let's keep trying," Ryuusei whispered excitedly as he inserted his fingers into the gaping wound, twisting the exposed flesh.

Daichi's scream filled the room.

Ryuusei removed the blood-covered hand and wiped it slowly on his victim's shirt.

"Tell me, have you ever wondered what it feels like when your bones separate from your flesh?"

Daichi barely had time to process those words before Ryuusei grabbed a serrated knife and began cutting through his arm, slowly, tooth by tooth, allowing the pain to sink deep into his being.

Metal scraped against the bone, flesh was torn and blood splattered on the ground.

"You know?" "In the series I mentioned, Theon gets cut off important parts," he whispered with amusement. Maybe we should follow that tradition.

Ryuusei leaned over to him, enjoying the sheer terror in Daichi's eyes.

"But we're not there yet. First, let's play some more.

He got up and picked up a blowtorch.

The blue flame illuminated Ryuusei's face with a wicked glow.

Daichi tried to move, but his strength was drained.

"You're going to like this," Ryuusei muttered before bringing the fire to the open wound in his abdomen.

The pain was unbearable. Daichi screamed until his voice broke.

Ryuusei just smiled, fascinated.

"Let's have fun all night.

Ryuusei watched with pleasure as Daichi's skin twisted under the fire, singing, blackening, filling the room with an unbearable stench of burnt flesh. Daichi arched his back, trying to escape the torment, but he was too weak.

"Come on, don't faint yet," Ryuusei whispered, snuffing out the blowtorch and slapping him on the bloody cheek. We are just getting started.

Daichi was breathing heavily, his body already healing, but the pain persisted, like a burning echo at each nerve ending.

Ryuusei clicked his tongue in amusement.

"You're resilient... But I want to see how far you go.

He walked away for a moment and came back with a pair of tongs.

"Do you know what cowards like you have in common?" He asked, fiddling with the tool in the air. They are always ready to betray... but they are never ready to pay the price.

Without warning, he plunged the tongs into Daichi's mouth and caught one of his front teeth.

Daichi's eyes widened.

"Please..." he managed to murmur between gasps.

But Ryuusei only smiled.

"Please, what?" To stop me? May he have mercy? He asked with false sweetness. Like the one you had with me when you left me?

And with a brutal movement, he pulled the tooth out by the root.

Daichi shook violently as blood filled his mouth and pain exploded in his skull.

Ryuusei held the tooth between his fingers and watched it with interest before throwing it to the ground.

"One less. He shrugged. How many do you think you can lose before your tongue can't pronounce a single word?

Daichi could barely answer. His breathing was erratic, his body trembling uncontrollably.

"Oh, don't worry..." Ryuusei smiled as he took the tongs again. We will find out together.
