Chapter 349: [349] Harvest After the First Battle
Night fell, and the Loki Familia's base was brightly lit.
A small banquet was underway in the dining hall, with members toasting each other amidst lavish dishes like giant blackfish and monster elephant meat neatly arranged on the tables.
"Did something good happen?"
Finn and the others had just returned to the Familia when they were greeted by this lively scene, leaving them stunned.
"What? Eiji is back... and he leveled up to Level 5?!"
The dwarf warrior Gareth gaped at Raul Nord, who had delivered the news, his jaw hanging open for a long moment.
"No way?!"
Bete Loga, the werewolf, glared fiercely at Raul, his blue tattoos twitching menacingly, accentuating his savage aura.
The three of them fell into silence as they watched Eiji being surrounded by the others, constantly being toasted.
While Finn and Gareth were pleasantly surprised beyond shock, Bete's expression remained tense, his face etched with urgency.

Late at night.
Eiji returned to his room.
He hadn't drunk any alcohol—he couldn't handle it—so he had stuck to tea instead, though he still carried a faint scent of liquor on him.
Turning on the magic stone lamp, Eiji pulled open a drawer and retrieved a sheet of paper hidden beneath a stack of books.
It was a note he had left behind the last time he returned, unsure if he would make it back, detailing his origins and whereabouts.
But since he had only been gone for about ten days, no one had rummaged through his room.
Now, it was no longer needed.
With that thought, Eiji tore the paper into tiny shreds.
From what he could tell, aside from the world his clone had visited—where his main body could no longer cross over—any world his main body directly traveled to remained accessible even after leaving, though the timing was irregular.
"Time to rest."
Eiji stretched and headed toward the bed.
Come to think of it, his room was spotless, not a speck of dust in sight—probably thanks to someone cleaning it daily. He wondered which thoughtful beauty had done it.
Just as he reached the bed, Eiji suddenly froze.
From beneath the covers came a deliberately suppressed but still painfully audible (to his newly enhanced hearing) breathing sound.
Whoosh!
Eiji yanked the blanket away.
Beneath it lay the tanned skin of an Amazoness sister, curled up on the sheets with only a few scraps of fabric covering her vital areas. Her bright eyes blinked up at him.
"What are you doing here, Tiona?"
"Eiji, let's sleep together tonight!"
Ten seconds later.
With a loud crash, the room door slammed shut.
Tiona was thrown out of the room, landing on the floor in a sitting position, her face full of dejection.
She had been so sure tonight was the night—that she could finally make things happen. Why had she been thrown out again?
"Why give up an entire forest for just one tree?"
That was probably what Eiji would say if he knew her thoughts.
More importantly... that tree was just too flat!

It was early May, and the morning air still carried the lingering chill of late spring.
Eiji wore a simple T-shirt and trousers. Though the outfit was light, his Level 5 physique made him impervious to minor temperature fluctuations.
At the break of dawn, he arrived in the courtyard and drew out his Device, the Bling Blade.
Yesterday had been too rushed, but today he would thoroughly examine the gains from his battle with Twin-Wings.
"First, the Device itself."
Eiji gripped the katana shimmering with rippling silver light like water reflections in his hand.
With a thought—
The blade instantly gleamed brightly. Under the hazy play of light and shadow, within less than a second, the sword rapidly transformed into a single-handed cross-shaped longsword.
That was Twin-Wings' sword!
"As expected, I've replicated Twin-Wings' sword too!"
Eiji's expression immediately lit up with excitement.
Not just that.
As his thoughts shifted again, his loosely clenched left hand also began to glow. Silver particles gathered, manifesting a second Bling Blade!
Another mental command, and the second Bling Blade also morphed into Twin-Wings' cross-shaped sword.
Looking closely, he now held in both hands a pair of sword Devices identical to Twin-Wings' twin blades!
"A new ability has awakened."
Eiji slowly exhaled.
Indeed.
At the climax of his battle with Twin-Wings, Eiji had awakened a brand-new ability!
Just like when he first awakened his dimension-crossing power, he had now gained the ability to replicate sword-type Devices!
—Any weapon classified as a "sword" could be perfectly duplicated!
This so-called "sword-type weapon" wasn't narrowly limited to swords in shape, but rather any weapon that fit the conceptual definition of a sword. Thus, not just Twin-Wings' twin blades, but weapons like tachi, daggers, or even sword-type Noble Phantasms of Heroic Spirits could all be replicated.
Both appearance and abilities—completely identical to the original!
Moreover, through this awakening, his Device seemed to have broken free from quantity limitations. Wielding two swords simultaneously like this posed no problem at all.
However, these Devices would disappear if separated beyond a certain distance, and couldn't be projected remotely. They couldn't be manipulated like Unlimited Blade Works, so having more didn't really provide additional utility.
"Twin-Wings' abilities weren't replicated though."
Eiji sensed the twin swords in his hands.
They were truly just a pair of sword Devices, devoid of any special abilities.
This was likely because a Blazer's ability originates from themselves, not their Device. The Device is merely a crystallization of the Blazer's soul—it possesses no inherent abilities. Some Blazers simply require their Device to manifest their powers.
Thus, even after replicating Twin-Wings' swords, Twin-Wings' abilities couldn't be copied. The same applied to other Blazers.
Otherwise, simply replicating Kurogane Ikki's physical enhancement to learn his Ittou Shura would have been wonderful.
"Looks like my Type-Moon counterpart needs to work harder—must replicate more Saber-class Noble Phantasms."
Eiji understood clearly.
Currently, his Type-Moon self was undergoing special training with Aoko under Scáthach's tutelage, so there probably wouldn't be any notable activities in the near future.
"Next, swordsmanship."
Eiji calmed his mind and focused.
Raising the twin swords, he swung them forward in rapid succession.
Instantly, a cross-shaped slash flashed through the air with astonishing speed!
"Incredible Twin-Wings swordsmanship!"
Eiji wielded the twin swords with unrestrained fervor, his face alight with exhilaration.
This swordsmanship could only be described as miraculous—it had already surpassed the realm of what ordinary humans could master!
By generating special electronic signals within his body, Eiji could simultaneously control all his muscles in an instant, concentrating his entire body's strength into a single sword strike.
Thanks to this, there was absolutely no acceleration during the sword swing. He could instantly increase the speed from 0 to 100, achieving maximum acceleration in a split second and completely skipping the acceleration process!
Even Newton would have to cry out his brother's name in disbelief.
