Chapter 379: Don't Mess With The Gordons.... 4
Arthur and Kelvin were being carried back to the peak mountain of Terran by some of the new generation students of the War God Mage Academy.
They were among those who had witnessed Arthur's victory over a member of the Royal Mage Academy, which had brought them great happiness.
However, it became clear to them from afar that Arthur would not be allowed to pass easily, as the whole group cornered him and opponents started attacking him one by one until he was eventually knocked unconscious.
With Arthur's defeat, they felt a sense of hopelessness and their previous joy from the victory faded away. Stay connected via My Virtual Library Empire
Only a few students who still held on to hope and believed in Alec's abilities decided to carry Arthur and Kelvin back, to their master's peak.
As they reached the peak, the first person to see them was Agnes, The sight of unfamiliar faces carrying Arthur and Kelvin caused her mind to go into disarray.
As she instantly feared that her master's enemies, who were always interested in killing his students, had struck once again.
Without hesitation, she ran towards Arthur and immediately checked his pulse.
Only after confirming that he was still alive did she sigh in relief, she then turned her attention to Kelvin and realized that his injuries were even more severe.
Kelvin was bleeding from his head and nose, and he appeared to have some broken ribs.
Agnes was not as concerned about Arthur's injuries because she knew he had been practicing the Golden Bones Forging techniques passed down by the third Elder of the Gordons clan.
Despite having both of his hands broken, and being in the basic stage of the technique Arthur would still be able to mold his bones back to normal with time.
This ability to slowly regenerate from flesh and bone injuries was one of the greatest advantages of practitioners of the Golden Bones Forging technique.
However, Kelvin was in a critical condition, causing Agnes to raise her head and glare at the mages in front of her, as her calm demeanor transformed into a raging storm.
"Tell me everything that happened without leaving out a single detail, If I find out you lied, you won't like me,"
Agnes threatened, her gaze fixed on the mages who had helped bring Kelvin and Arthur back to the mountain peak.
After explaining what had been transpiring in the academy since the arrival of the exchange students from the Royal Mage Academy, Agnes frowned.
They had just returned from the Abyss, leaving her unable to gather news from her usual sources.
And having to Learn about how the Royal mages academy students had been terrorizing the new generation mages of the War God Mage Academy infuriated her.
Now that even her clansmen had fallen victim, she felt an urgent need to go there with Brandon and the others, hoping to defeat them all.
However, the mages who brought Arthur and Kelvin back revealed that the ones Arthur faced were actually followers of the main strong ones, as they said there is one of them that had directed a challenge to Alec.
It was rumoured that on the first day of the challenge, the strongest among them had climbed the arena and personally issued a challenge to Alec for a rematch.
This information made Agnes speculate that this person must hold some sort of grudge against Alec and know him.
But it was clear that the person said to be strongest hadn't been seen since that incident, and even if Agnes gathered the available group, she still doubted they would be able to defeat all of Royal Mage Academy students,
Especially if they decided to attack together, Agnes knew they wouldn't be able to handle that many mages alone without Alec's support.
"So, what are you going to do?, Are you going to tell Alec?" the mage who had explained everything couldn't help but ask.
As the eyes of all the mages behind him sparkled with anticipation as they awaited an answer.
"No way, Alec is in a crucial stage of his cultivation at the moment, and there's no way I would disturb him with such matters," Agnes replied firmly.
"Disturb me with what matters?" Alec's grumpy voice came from behind her, taking her by surprise.
"AAAAA Alec...." Agnes stammered as she turned back in shock, attempting to cover the bodies of Arthur and Kelvin, but it was a futile attempt as Alec simply placed his hand on her shoulder and pushed her aside.
He walked closer towards Arthur and examined him.
The other mages, waiting anxiously, expected him to explode or shout like Agnes, but he remained in silence, his stare growing increasingly unsettling.
He looked at Agnes and said firmly, "Tell me everything that happened!"
Even Agnes couldn't bring herself to lie to him in that moment, as Alec stood there, his upper body bare, revealing his well-toned muscles.
His hair, which seemed to change colours in a sequence, was currently mostly black with patches of brown and red at the tips.
This showcased his incredible affinity for the earth and fire elements, Terran there master even suspected that Alec might possess a bloodline power connected to both elements that would unveil itself later.
Terran had formed this opinion when Alec had sought advice from him on how to make his hair pure black with no hints of red, he hated the fact his hair turned red as it associated him with the Ancient Blaze clan.
However, Terran had explained that attempting to manipulate his hair new natural colour wouldn't make a difference.
Alec had even tried dyeing his hair, but the colours remained the same, alternating between black, brown, and red at their own whims.
The mages watched in awe as Alec listened intently to Agnes, absorbing every word she said as if he were actually there when it happened.
Although Alec didn't exhibit any signs of violence or madness, but the mages standing there could sense a dangerous aura emanating from him.
His focused gaze sent shivers down their spines, as they gulped down in nervousness.
After Agnes finished explaining, Alec turned towards the mages who had brought Arthur and Kelvin up the mountain.
"So if I go to the academy arena region now, you're confident I'll find those mages who are challenging our new generation right?" Alec asked with a small smile on his face.
"Yes, big boss!" one of the mages quickly replied, feeling beads of sweat rolling down his forehead from being subjected to Alec's intense stare.
"Are you feeling bored buddy , are you?, Well, let me give you a show to demonstrate your brilliance as well as the others,"
Alec turned to Tempest Butcher and said, shocking almost everyone present, They couldn't quite comprehend what Alec was planning.
But Tempest stepped forward and draped Alec's loose robe over his shoulders, and Alec leaved it unbuttoned and untied.
And it gave the illusion that Alec had casually thrown on a stylish suit, With his hands in his pockets, exuding a refined gangster vibe, the only thing missing was a cigarette to give the vibes a perfect fit.
Alec slowly made his way towards the exit of the peak.
"Where are you going, Alec? I and rest of group can come with you!" Agnes called out, sensing that Alec intended to continue the challenge for Arthur.
She knew how much Alec cared for Arthur, seeing him as a brother, It was evident that he was the most irritated among them all by what happen but he was just keeping the anger locked up waiting to explode.
Agnes was also certain that if Brandon had emerged from his closed-door cultivation first, he would have reacted the same way wanting to go fight the Royal Mage Academy students with no plans.
Alec briefly turned his neck, his hands still in his pockets, the robe still draped around him, resembling a gangster.
With Butcher massive body, crackling with lightning, followed closely behind him, attempting to control the raw power contained within its body.
"I am going to show those idiots why it's foolish to mess with the Gordons," Alec declared before resuming his journey down the peak.
His statement alone conveyed the imminent consequences of his actions, as even those with average intelligence would understand talk of the mages who had been eagerly awaiting his intervention.
Excitement surged through the mages as they raced behind Alec, eager to witness the impending spectacle.
Agnes let out a sigh as she made her way to Brandon's courtyard, intending to explain the situation to him.
As she felt If there is anyone could possibly stop Alec or assist him, she believed it would be Brandon.
