The frost beast snored peacefully, its enormous icy body rising and falling like a frozen mountain. Chan Li grinned in triumph, wiping the sweat off his forehead. "Well, that was exhausting. But hey, a win is a win!"

Yan Ling crossed his arms. "You bribed it with food. That's not exactly what I'd call a win."

Lan Xue smirked. "I'd call it a brilliant strategy. Minimum effort, maximum result."

Liu Feng sighed. "Can we please move on before something else ridiculous happens?"

The Beast's Awakening

Just as they were about to continue their journey, the frost beast's eyes fluttered open. Instead of roaring or attacking, it slowly stood up and stretched—then, to everyone's surprise, it sat down beside Chan Li, wagging its massive, ice-covered tail.

Chan Li blinked. "Wait… did I just… tame it?"

Yan Ling looked horrified. "No way. No way in all the heavens did you just make this thing your pet!"

The frost beast let out a deep, pleased growl before nudging Chan Li's shoulder with its enormous head, nearly knocking him over.

Lan Xue chuckled. "Well, it looks like you did. Congratulations."

Chan Li puffed out his chest. "I always wanted a giant, terrifying, snow-breathing monster to follow me around."

Liu Feng sighed. "This is going to be a problem, isn't it?"

New Name

Chan Li scratched his chin. "I should give it a name. Something cool. Something majestic. Something that"

"Fluffy," Yan Ling interrupted.

Chan Li stared at him. "Fluffy? Really?"

"Look at all that ice fur! It's fluffy."

The beast let out a small growl of approval.

Chan Li groaned. "Fine. Welcome to the team, Fluffy."

Fluffy let out a happy rumble before sitting next to Chan Li like a loyal guard dog.

Liu Feng rubbed his temples. "We're traveling with a giant ice beast named Fluffy. This is our reality now."

Trouble on the Horizon

Just as they were about to set off, a sharp whistle echoed through the icy canyon. The team froze as several shadowy figures emerged from behind the snow-covered trees.

A man in dark robes, his breath misting in the cold air, stepped forward. "Hand over the beast. Now."

Chan Li tilted his head. "I don't think so. Fluffy is ours now."

The man's eyes narrowed. "That creature belongs to the Frozen Fang Sect. It has been our guardian for centuries."

Yan Ling sighed. "Of course it does. Because why wouldn't we randomly steal an ancient sect guardian?"

Lan Xue drew her sword. "Looks like we have another fight on our hands."

Fluffy growled, stepping protectively in front of Chan Li.

Chan Li grinned. "Alright then. Let's see who gets to keep Fluffy."
