Lily woke up feeling tired, yesterday was so exhausting but she came home by 7pm and slept off after doing some necessary things.

She raised her wavy body towards the bedroom but received a call Lily nonchalantly answered it .

"Hello girlfriend how are you doing?" A jovial feminine voice rang out.

"Hello Elizabeth , I'm good how have you been in the US "Lily turned on her electric toothbrush .

" Oh I have been good darling ,I called to know your birthday so I can prepare a gift for you to be send ?". Elizabeth said as she swinged her legs .

Lily paused for a moment as she was still brush then drunk water to spit it out again." Send huh? Well it's on December 18th" Lily said .

"Wow that's in three months "Elizabeth said in awe.

Lily just rolled her eyes out her dramatic friend then washed her face ."how's your mother Lizzy?"

"Oh mother's fine ,have you seen my father?" Elizabeth asked in a sad tone.

" Well...not since spring...you know it's hard to see him during summer ,you know he's always busy with his stuffs "Lily said as she opened her kit to bring out ointment for her wound which has improved a little.

"Yeah ,busy he does call but otß been months since he called " Elizabeth said with a sigh .

"He'll call back I know he will he's busy that's all" Lily assured her as she applied ointment on her wound .

"This is what I have to face a child of two divorced parents it's hard to cope "

" I'm very sorry about that my friend why does I send you money to lighten up "Lily said to her money loving friend.

" Oh shut up I'll gladly take it there's this research I was making and I'm running low on money I didn't want bother my mother ,she has spend a lot on me"Elizabeth jovial voice returned.

" That's fine , I'll call you later expect your money in a moment"

" You're the best...muaah" Lily just chuckled and hang up ,then she sighed as she remembered the misfortune of her friend.

Elizabeth Harrison and Lily were close friends back in high school , Elizabeth was the brightness one with good grades ,she smiles a lot with her dimples stealing the hearts of men ,she always has this white strand on her shoulder level ginger hair ,it was natural while Lily was the one who was bright but hated Math . Never can the two of them separate as their family know each other ,they share everything together, sleep over at each other's places and all stuffs best friend do together .

One day Elizabeth came to school she was so sad that she cried for a long time.

Later it was known to Lily that it wasabout her parents,her mother left home and told Elizabeth she'll be coming to take Elizabeth after highschool without telling why she was leaving which didn't seat well with Elizabeth .

Lily accompanied her friend to make her happy but the rain only made it worst , Lily came home drained that day and learnt from her parents that Mrs. Harrison and her husband has divorce which made Lily so sad for her friend but if one where to look at the foundation of the cause one would that it was Mr. Harrison's fault.

Mr . Harrison wanted a male child to be the heir of his company, he met his wife Mrs. Harrison as a business partner then they got married but when they had a daughter he was worried but still loved none the less but that doesn't mean he didn't cheated on his wife.

He had different affairs with other women sometimes comes home with one being drunk and insults his wife for not being productive, Even stopping her from managing the affairs of the company as she wasn't developing anything .

Despite all these , Mrs. Harrison still loved him but it got to the extent that he abused her so she decide to leave all these were hidden from Elizabeth.

When Elizabeth and her father started living together as their mother and wife has left them, Her father brought women to the house which resulted them to start abusing and throwing insults at Elizabeth .

Anytime Elizabeth comes back from school she was always traumatized and her father hardly cares because he was dealing with the companythat was having losses and money decreasing as he buys expensive things for these women .

Elizabeth started falling out academically and she was having low interest in school. When all these came to her mom's ear under just one year of her leaving,she came back to Apex for her child , punished some if the women coming to the house and made her father go bankrupt then took her child with her to US .

There Elizabeth was taken to the in habilitation center since she became dull,Her father on the other hand was abandoned and was reported to had wanted to commit suicide .

This made Mrs. Harrison to help him through connections that he had a great partner coming in from no where and this helped him since then, he haven't been with any woman and by law was able to connect with his child. Lily also sees Mr . Harrison in a particular cafe when she's passing for her sales.

OUTSIDE APEX, IN A BASEMENT

"Ahhhh!!"

"What's going on ?Gladys you're always disturbing " A male voice rang out of the bathroom then he came to see his girlfriend trembing from horror .

He looked at the direction of where she was looking at and felt his soul left him and fainted.

Gladys looked at her boyfriend who just passed out and snorted at him" Look at a girl in man's form" she said then continued her drama ." 0h my lord"

"Hey what's the noise for Jack?"

"Jesus Christ!... bloody hell ,I'm gonna throw up "and he rushed to the toilet to throw up

What they were looking at was three heads hanging on the wall and blood was dripping slowly.

" Eli! I think we've been spotted" Gladys said as she try to reach out for her phone
