The Necromancer is amassing troops like crazy in the apocalypse

Chapter 1060: You'll Know If You Take a Look_3

Zhao Yanqiu stood atop the high platform, with the Magic Wand in her hand emitting a faint golden light. Below the steps, the wounds of the injured were growing flesh, and the broken bones were reconnecting.

Whoosh~!

The survivors who witnessed all of this fell to their knees in unison.

The entire base erupted with a thundering cheer.

...

Five days later, outside Deep Furnace Castle.

Wu Heng stopped the bike, and Retili dismounted with a quick leap, removing her helmet and shaking out her disheveled hair.

Their gaze simultaneously fell on the distant city.

The entire city's architecture was built against the mountain. From a distance, the buildings and the mountain seemed to be one, with various pipes and strange devices winding across the rock face like veins, spewing thick white smoke.

"Truly magnificent," Retili said softly.

"Didn't you say you've been to the Dwarf territory before?" Wu Heng casually asked, then donned the Faceless Mask, transforming into the face of a young man with brown hair.

Retili twirled the tip of her hair with her fingers, "I haven't been to Deep Furnace Castle, but this style of building alongside mountain bodies is not uncommon among the Dwarf Race. Yet every time I see it, it's always breathtaking, wouldn't you agree?"

"Indeed, quite magnificent," Wu Heng replied with a smile, "Let's go! Let's head into the city, finish our business, and return early."

According to the original plan, they should have arrived in four days, but they were delayed by taking a detour to the city where Retili conducted her business.

Compared to coming with the Chamber of Commerce, their journey was indeed several times faster.

Moreover, they recorded the locations of the cities along the way, allowing them to use the Phantom Train in the future.

The two approached the city.

The guards at the gate checked their documents and allowed them to enter.

Upon stepping into the city, a wave of heat, mixed with the scent of pig iron and coal, hit them.

The forges on both sides of the street burned relentlessly day and night, as leather-aproned craftsmen emitted the clinking sound of hammering.

The two walked and observed, heading directly to the central city hall.

Entering the hall, they spoke to the staff, "We're from Gold and Silver Island and have made an appointment with you."

"One moment!" The staff member raised an eyebrow and went to the back.

A moment later, a dwarf scholar, wearing crystal glasses, quickly emerged.

His beard was braided intricately, and instead of wearing armor, he donned an elaborate robe that clung to him like a fitted suit.

"Leander," the dwarf spoke in a gruff voice, his eyes behind the glasses scrutinizing the two, "How may I address you?"

"Harry Bogle," Wu Heng replied without changing his expression.

Retili raised an eyebrow but quickly returned to her usual demeanor.

"And the lady?"

"Tasha," Retili replied with a businesslike smile.

Leander said directly, "We received orders that Leader Wu Heng would be coming in person. Do you have any proof of identity?"

Wu Heng took out a prepared Leader Order from the Space Ring and showed it to him.

Clearly written on it was Wu Heng appointing 'Harry Bogle' to use the Heart of Molten Fire, with the Leader's seal stamped in the corner.

Leander nodded, returned the Leader Order, and asked, "Do you plan to see it now, or rest until tomorrow?"

"Let's go see it now!" Wu Heng declared.

"Alright, follow me." Leander led them out to board a carriage heading deeper inside.

As the carriage passed through a heavily guarded fortress, Retili unconsciously moved closer to Wu Heng.

The entire fortress showcased a large number of well-equipped dwarf soldiers, and the rock walls on either side were riddled with firing slits.

It gave off the feeling of a military base.

"We've arrived," Leander said.

The carriage stopped before a carved mountain, with a twenty-meter-high metal door engraved with complex patterns.

And a line in Dwarven: In the name of the Ancestral Forge, with the bones of the Eternal Mountain!
