Chapter 496: The Return of The Hellbound Beast
[HAWI]
Home had been Hawi's greatest achievement, especially when she had trained the warriors to be as lethal as her. She had made them into war machines and had known that they could hold their own.
So, when she had gotten that letter, she just couldn't understand what the fuck had happened along the way. Her sister had been fine, with the magic she had cast on her, and she had been healthy as well.
It just didn't make any sense, and that shit angered Hawi so much, especially when she got to Sicario in the afternoon to see worn out warriors. She couldn't even blame them for being tired because she herself knew how much of a spin it was to fight with the Russels.
"Oh goddess," Hawi whimpered as she took in the sight before her. She couldn't sense any magic at all with the warriors and it got her wondering what the fuck they had been thinking.
On one hand, she wanted to find Adolf and beat the shit out of him for hiding them the worst of ideas and for putting them in this crazy scenario. However, on the other hand, Hawi was proud of her teams.
She loved them and was willing to lay down her life for them, however looking at them now, fighting with all they got, knowing that their opponents were the crazies of the realm.
They had done a lot in the past hours and Hawi loved that they had stood their ground regardless of what the fuck was going on at the moment.
"You good?" Rukiya asked as she readied herself for the battle.
She knew Hawi was still in shock from the fact that the magic being back to her was not just a prank but a reality for them. It was insane on so many fronts, but then she herself was the craziest leader.
Surely, she couldn't expect them to turn out like any other bunch, right?
"Yeah, go, my beautiful. I'll join you there,'' Hawi said, the sight mesmerizing her.
She wanted to stand her and watch, she wanted to see how her warriors fought this battle, but at the same time, she knew they had done their very best to make things right on here.
So, she cast an invisibility spell on herself, making sure that none of the warriors could see her, not even the love of her life this time.
It was a gamble she was taking on and she wanted to see how her people would react if they realized that they are getting the support that they had thought wouldn't come for them.
Granted, Hair wasn't sure if the warriors had seen Malika, Mbali and Rukiya, but even then, a part of her knew that those weren't the people the warriors had been waiting for. She knew that she was the one person that they relied on the most and that she was the only man who would ever be able to make things right for them.
'For our fallen,' Hawi said to herself before she cast the spell to return the Sicario dome back to what it was, to its impervious state, and more than anything, she filled it with the magic she had siphoned from the walls of the sacred temple.
She had unintentionally done that, but then it now made sense.
Finally, they didn't have to worry about her getting overwhelmed by the endless reliance on her and her magic. The dome was invisible and even the warriors still couldn't see it, but then the sound of the ends of the come clanging with the anchors he heard, the warriors were in shock.
"Alpha?" the warriors called out as they looked high above them to see the Sicario come back on. It was not invisible anymore. The golden streaks of the dome are more than obvious and with the rays of the setting sun making a show, they all were glad for it.
The warriors were so excited, that instead of staying on the side longer, they had decided to keep fighting.
They knew their charge was coming, and it didn't even take long because the recharge did come, and it was filled with rage and the anger that had been channeled from their fallen friends.
The Savasci warriors were on what and had the ability to fight everyone and mayo that had come their way. They were unstoppable and they felt it.
"Kill them all!!!" Hawi commanded, materializing her voice bouncing off the walls of the dome and shaking the very ground that the warriors were fighting on. They all had extra magic to keep them sane and boy was it an interesting sight.
The warriors who had decided to take on the firth without thinking too much about it, and warriors who had readied themselves to give up their lives for it because they believed that the was always going to be better days for those of them who would rain.
"Aye aye, captain!!" The Greyson and Sicario warriors responded excitedly before they began their killing spree.
The spell that Hawi had cast on them was one that would even resurrect their fallen. This was the type of war the Russels had been fighting with the others and won more than once.
"Holy shit, you actually read the spell books?" Malika asked as Hawi murdered the Russel warriors on her way to where her knights were.
She knew many things had gone wrong, but when the Savasci warriors released their friends who were waking up, they knew that this was the kind of war that they would never lose.
It was the craziest war of all time and finally, this was probably the greatest of all the wars they would have fought in their lifetimes. Perhaps thrice truly was the charm, right?
"I listen, sometimes,'' Hawi said as she looked at her team that had been fighting for hours.
"Go deal with the regular warriors. Malika, Rukiya, Mbali and I will deal with these two bastards,'' Hawi said to her friends and they cheered in return.
"I knew you would come, little sister," Elodie said as he pulled Hawi into a hug, making Hawi smile tearfully at her.
"Sorry I was late; traffic was a little hell. You can get some rest if you're tired, the four of us will finish these shits," Hawi said to Elodie when they pulled back and Elodie just laughed at her sister.
She was glad Hawi had made it, and had been hoping for better days or hours, spending on how long they would have had to fight. So much had happened and she hadn't taken it all in, but so had everyone else. This was new to them.
Elodie hadn't expected that her sister would come this soon, but damn, was Elodie very proud of her sister. This was one of the many reasons she was sure she could always count on Hawi regardless of where they always ended up.
They would always find a way around things anyway.
"And let you fight alone, you know that's never going to happen, right?" Elodie stared confidently as she looked at the Russel brothers who were still trying to understand what the fuck was happening.
They had tried their magic on the Savasci nights when the one had come back on and it didn't work. It was like they were useless shuts in here, but was that it, or had Hawi just blocked them from trying to do something shitty to her people who had been at war for hours on end?
This wasn't what anyone had expected too and damn was it a beautiful sight. This right here is their way of making sure that life is way better for them as a team. It didn't matter that the realm was crazed because of the Russels.
It didn't matter that shit was going down and was about to get even worse in here. What mattered to Hawi was that her people were safe and they had a reason to keep going.
"I know… I was just hoping it would," Hawi said earnestly and Elodie let out laugh at that.
This was the reminder of what they had been fighting against for years and they wouldn't just stop just because someone was feeling like shit and couldn't take the hint, no?
"And no more arrows to the heart alright?" Malika said, making Elodie out at her. Malika had come and found her with a spear to the heart, and along with it was a poisoned blade. Your journey continues at empire
It had been the craziest sight Malika had ever seen and if it wasn't for the fact that only hair was capable of taking out the Russels, Malika would have tried her best, she would lose, but then it would have been easier for her to let out some steam.
She was sick of the way things had been happening and seeing her Elodie like that had permanently put the Russels on her hate list. She could do whatever it took to make their lives miserable if they survived this fight.
"Arrow to the heart? You cupid or something?" Hawi asked her rage making a show as she looked at the culprits who are staring calmly like they hadn't really been trapped in Sicario. This was crazy, but so was the woman leading the war.
"Sebastian was trying to be one but failed spectacularly," Elodie said casually, before making her way to the battlefield.
"You lot must really be high on shit at this point, eh?" Hawi said as she looked at the Russel brothers. She wouldn't forgive them for touching her sister and they knew it too, perhaps that was why Alex tried to have a second go at Elodie with his magic.
