The Second Chance of Reincarnator

Chapter 84: Death Is Not Bad

Spurt!

A black blade went through Owen's back, pinning him to the floor, and he let out a horrifying-sounding scream.

"Get off him!"

Hazel summoned a bow and an arrow—she pulled the string back—and fired the arrow at Rav'akari.

With his left hand, Rav'akari caught the arrow, snapped it in half, and then pulled out his sword from Owen's back.

"Hazel… Run!"

Owen coughed blood, grabbed Rav'akari's leg, and started biting him, which caused some blood to shed.

Rav'akari whipped his leg across Owen's face, cracked his teeth, and made him swallow all of them.

"Owen!"

Hazel screamed.

"Hehe~"

Rav'akari eyes shone as he read through some of Owen's and Hazel's memories—especially about their moments of lovemaking—and a chilly grin came to his face.

"Lovers? Great… I truly love making lovers suffer. It's so easy too."

He said, then stomped over Owen and approached Hazel, who backed away till her back hit the wall, and there was nowhere else to go.

She was frozen in fear, and then Rav'akari raised his hand to her face—touched her chin—and with a side glance, turned to look at Owen with a grin.

Owen was looking over to them with a look of pain, wishing that he had more strength to stop him.

"Keep watching. Maybe he'll enjoy me more than you."

With a grin, Rav'akari pushed his lips into Hazel's pink lips, and she tried pushing him away, but he didn't budge.

She summoned an arrow with her left hand and tried stabbing it into his heart, but he grabbed her arm and twisted it behind her back.

"Feisty, aren't you!"

Rav'akari laughed and then grabbed Hazel's dress before ripping it off her till she was only standing in her undergarments.

"Haha!"

He grinned, squeezed her left breast, and licked his lips.

Hazel closed her eyes, trembling with warm tears falling off her eyes, and she was currently hoping that she was back on Earth, helping her mother with some fieldwork.

She thought right now that coming to Whitesky was the greatest mistake that she had ever made.

At that moment, an arrow came flying and stabbed Rav'akari through his throat, making him start drowning in his blood.

"Gurgle~ Gurgle~"

He crashed against the wall, and as he pulled the arrow out of his throat, he turned to Owen, who was holding a bow with deep hatred in his gaze.

He didn't think that he had any strength left to pull out his bow and shoot!

"Gurgle…"

Rav'akari's throat sprayed with blood, and then with his bloody hand, he took his sword and drove it into Hazel's heart.

"HAZEL!"

Owen screamed, and Hazel, with a cough of blood, collapsed to the ground with life slowly fading from her eyes.

At her last breathing moments, she looked at Owen, and with tears falling from her eyes, she forced one last smile.

It looked like she wanted to mouth 'thank you,' but failed to do so. She was thankful for being spared from such a horrible fate.

Death was a better alternative, at least that's what she thought.

"No… Argh!"

Owen, despite having a hole in the middle of his chest, jumped to his feet and tackled Rav'akari through the window.

They fell five floors, crashed on the hard ground below, and both of them died on impact as their bodies got crushed by the wall.

In a room, four corpses were bleeding on the ground, their eyes wide open and staring blankly at the ceiling.

With his chest ripped open, Elias Carter looked blankly at the ceiling—way dead—and it was possible to see his insides spilling out.

Beside him, Julian, with his sun-bleached hair turned red, had a trail of blood behind him as if he had tried crawling away.

He didn't make it far till he turned dead.

With a hole in between his brows, as if he was stabbed with a blade, Levy Porter lay dead on the ground.

With her head hanging low, Sage Everett's corpse was still kneeling on the ground with several stab wounds in her stomach.

She had a bloody knife in her hand, as those stab wounds were self-inflicted, as when she got discovered by Rav'akari, she decided to take her own life.

Cling! Cling! Cling!

At that moment, the sound of steel clashing with steel echoed in the room, and in the middle of all the corpses, Jeff Quinn was swinging his sword.

With a smile and black blade in hand, Rav'akari parried his sword strikes and was pretty much playing with Jeff.

He even had one arm behind his back while parrying every attack.

"Argh!"

Jeff did a wide swing and missed as Rav'akari sidestepped, and he lost his balance, causing him to stumble forward.

Rav'akari cut him in the waist, and Jeff let out a scream of pain with the burning sensation spreading across his waist.

It was pretty much torture, as Jeff already had several wounds inflicted by the black blade, as Rav'akari had no intention to kill him just yet.

He wanted to inflict more pain on Jeff.

At that moment, they both heard some running steps and saw two students running past the room—they were Finn and Ivy.

When Rav'akari saw Ivy's bright green eyes, long brown hair, and beautiful face, he knew that's who they were looking for.

A few seconds later, some Rav'akari ran past the room, chasing after the two students.

'Ivy… Finn…'

Jeff thought.

"I can't let them have all the fun."

Rav'akari swung his sword and, with one clean cut, killed Jeff. His body dropped to the floor, lifeless.

He stepped out of the room, turned his gaze to where everyone ran off to, and then heard some more footsteps behind him.

Nefarious, with the head of Arthur in his hand, was walking over, and Rav'akari bowed in his presence.

"Where did she go?"

"That way, sir!"

Rav'akari pointed to the ends of the hallway, and Nefarious nodded before heading over, but while passing by the room, he took a glimpse of all the corpses.

Seeing those corpses didn't make him change his expression. To him, it was the same as witnessing some ants dying. It meant nothing to him.
