The Strongest Drug Dealer

Chapter 6: Learning Hand

( Whoosh! )

The cold dark morning air blew as Brune, Clover, and his sons made their way onto the boat. The port wasn't far as it was only a few minutes walk.

The day was special as it was the first time Brune and Mo went fishing with Clover.

"This is boring," Brune thought to himself.

Since the kids were too young they were just brought along to watch.

Taking one of the fishing poles laying on the boat Clover explained how to tie a hook, set a bobber, and lastly how to properly put the bait on the hook. The fishing pole was wooden with fishing lines tied on at the point.

( Splash! )

Clover cast the bait as it went flying for twenty-five feet or so before dropping into the water.

"No don't touch that." No yelled at Mo as he tried to grab the knife lying on the ground.

Mo still a curious kid was trying to touch every and anything. No had to catch him one time as he almost fell into the water while trying to touch it.

Sitting around with nothing to do, Brune had to entertain himself.

( Plop! Plop! )

Clover quickly yanks the pole expecting a fish as the bobber is dipping into the water. Setting the pole down and pulling the line back he soon realized there was no fish on the hook.

"That's weird, must have been the waves," said Clover.

Trying his hardest not to burst out laughing Brune continued to watch.

( Splash! )

Casting his bait again Clover looked over to see what the kids were doing.

No was watching over Mo as he was causing trouble, while Brune just sat there watching and occasionally staring into the water.

( Plop! Plop! )

Repeating the same motions as before, Clover checks to see if any fish is on the hook. The same thing happened again as there was no fish on.

Brune was pulling a prank on Clover as he used his power to pull the bobber down to trick him into believing he had a fish on.

Each time was funnier and funnier until he got bored of doing it. Of course, he only stopped after the tenth time.

"Are you bored?" No asked Brune.

"Not bored," Brune replied as it may look like he was just sitting staring off into the distance.

Using his powers Brune splashed the water around, swirling water to create a vortex, and splashing the water to make it seem as if a fish jumped.

After reading the picture book made by Heart and talking to the town folks, Brune found out his "telekinesis" was not just aura but a branch of it. The "telekinesis" was a special trait of Tigret aura users unlike humans and elves, Tigret aura users are born with all five aura points open causing them to sense their aura points and the aura around them better. With all five aura points open at an early age they experience a phenomenal and discover the power of the "invisible hand". Like the name entails it feels like a hand floating around doing whatever you want it to do.

In the book, it details the common aura traits and uncommon aura traits in each race of the continent. The points are located at the top of the head, arms, and legs. Elves unlike the other races had one aura point located between the eyes which gave them special vision. The aura is gathered around the stomach and the location of where to gather aura is called the aura chamber. After storing enough aura eventually the aura turns into aura threads which can be used to connect the aura chamber to any of the aura points. Every person's aura chamber differs in size and the number of aura threads that could be produced was finite.

Every race has its strengths and weaknesses. The humans didn't have a special body like the tigrets or aura points between the eyes like the elves, but they had aura points that were closer to the aura chamber so even with the limited amount of aura threads it was much easier to become a five-point aura user. With each point connected it opens and the aura emitted from the host's body becomes a different color as when aura is concentrated the color goes from clear to white, gray, black, and lastly red which is the most concentrated aura. The aura points act as an amplifier for the aura chamber.

Humans being the least gifted physically were able to prosper with their minds. Tigrets had physically imposing bodies but not the smartest minds and elves were able to live up to four hundred years. Having a long life span can become poison for the mind as the days could be taken for granted causing laziness. Even without the life span of an elf or the body of a tigret, humans were innovative in creating things such as medicine and tools. The greatest achievement for humanity was the creation of alchemy. Humans using alchemy were able to create potions and medicine.

( Splish! Splash! )

The boat rocked back and forth as the waves hit. The boat wasn't small but wasn't big either as it could hold about 5 grown adults.

Using the time on the boat, Brune increased his proficiency using the invisible hand.

The time passed by quickly as Brune was enjoying himself.

"Since the sun is now up we're only gonna stay in the water for a few minutes before heading back to the dock," Clover told the boys.

Catching his last fish, Clover and the boys made their way back to the port's dock.

( Splash! Blop! )

Slowly peddling towards the dock, Clover ties a rope connected from the boat onto a wooden post on the dock.

Slowly the boys got off the boat one at a time while helping Clover load off some of the fish and items on the boat.

"Ok, you kids go home and go help your mom and aunty while I go to the market square," Clover told the boys.

"Clover!!!" yelled a familiar voice.

Looking in the direction of the voice, Clover noticed Heart walking with a suspicious-looking man in a black cloak.

Heart came back from his drunkard adventure as it was now close to Brune's second birthday.

Waviving toward Brune, Heart and the man in the black cloak walked toward the group.

"Happy to see your dad again?" No asked Brune.

"Yes....." Brune replied with disgust on his face as he could see the stench from Heart.

Heart was covered in ragged-up clothing with greasy-looking hair and scruff facial hairs.

"This man is part of the Windell Alchemist guild and is looking for someone and I told him you might be able to help him," Heart told Clover.

The suspicious-looking man took off the hoodie of the cloak and introduced himself.

"Hello sir, my name is Leo and I'm with part of the alchemist guild in Windell and I'm looking for this man here," said the man as he pulled out a drawing of another man.

Looking at the drawing, Clover immediately recognizes the person in the drawing.

"Oh that is Tomas, the alchemist who moved into town not long ago, his shop is near my vendor, if you don't mind me asking what is the reason you're looking for Tomas," said Clover as the short amount of time Clover spent with Tomas it seemed as Tomas was just a hard-working man who rarely bothers people.

"He is a person who is called to be summoned in front of the guild executives and to be questioned for some of his practices," replied Leo in a serious tone.

"Ok, I could show you to his shop if you just give me a few minutes," replied Clover.

After a few minutes, Clover and Leo went on their way towards Tomas's shop.

"So Brune would you like to come to my studio with me?" Heart asked Brune.

"Sure, Dad," replied Brune.

Walking No and Mo back to the house, Brune and Heart eventually made their way to the studio.

( Clank! Creak! )

Taking the lock off the door, the two walked in.

"You are free to do whatever as long as you don't get yourself hurt, alright Brune?" Heart told Brune.

Brune nodded his head as he went into the storage room to look around. Always curious about the little chest on the storage room desk, he took it with him to ask his father what was inside, if it was money he was planning to "borrow" some.

With the little chest in his hands, Brune walked towards Heart who was sitting around a pile of what seemed like clay.

Slowly approaching Heart, Brune asked, "Hey Dad, what is in this box?".

"Oh that, give it to me," Heart told Brune as he reached for a key in his pocket and opened the chest.

Getting a good look inside the chest, Brune could see a piece of paper, a paintbrush with a golden handle, and lastly a necklace with a pendant holding some kind of emerald green substance.

"Now is probably a good time to give you this as it is almost your second birthday," said Heart as he handed Brune the necklace.

"Thank you, Dad," said Brune with a smile on his face.

Even with his rough nature, Brune felt happy calling Heart dad as it brought back some positive memories he had with his dad when he was still Bruno.

"What about the letter and paintbrush?" Brune asked curiously.

With a sad look on his face, Heart replied, "The letter is from your mother and the paintbrush was a birthday gift from someone who was very special to me. Are you curious about your mother by any chance Brune?".

"A little, can I see paper?" Brune asked.

Not thinking much about what an almost two-year-old could do with a piece of paper, Heart handed Brune the letter but told him, "Please be careful not to rip the letter,".

Unbeknown to Heart, Brune could now read and write in the human language even while being almost two years old physically but his mind was that of an older man. With the consciousness of an older person and the developing brain of a child, Brune was able to adapt and learn at a quick pace.

Reading the letter it wrote, "I hope this letter reaches you Mr. Golden Eyes from the capital of Suncrest. I don't know how I'm supposed to find you with only this necklace you gave me but I have no one else right now so I will try to come meet you. I have your child and I want you to see them. If this letter doesn't reach you and someone finds this letter. Please help my child, as I wrote this letter beforehand if it is a girl I want to name her after my mom Isabelle but if it is a boy I always loved the name Brune. Good fortunes to you Isabelle/Brune. - Sincerely your mother Sofia Kove.".

"So my mother's name is Sofia Kove and my father is from the capital of the kingdom," Brune thought to himself.

Handing back the letter to Heart, Brune played with the necklace twirling it around his fingers. Spinning it carelessly the necklace flew off his fingers and hit the ground.

( BOOOOOOOOM! )
