Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?

Chapter 175: Chapter 181: Open Strategy

"Fighting? A brawl?"

Yukinoshita Haruno was taken aback for a moment, then shook her head and said, "I know Aikido. That's enough for self-defense, right?"

"Against ordinary thugs or small-time troublemakers, sure. But the kind of fights you might face in the future won't be that simple."

"You mean those monsters we saw at the elementary school yesterday?" Yukinoshita Haruno frowned as she recalled the grotesque appearance of the curses from last night. "They're called curses, right?"

"But why would I need to fight those things?" she asked, spreading her hands.

She already had enough on her plate and had no interest in playing the role of a superhero.

"What if you run into a situation where you have no choice but to fight—"

Before Hayashizaki could finish, the short-haired girl cut him off casually. "Isn't that what you're here for?"

"I can't always be by your side."

"Well, obviously. Who could stand having a demon stuck in their body for life?"

"…"

Haruno's complete indifference left Hayashizaki momentarily speechless.

She sat in her ergonomic chair at the desk, lightly tapping the cabinet with her foot to spin the chair around.

"At the very least, you should learn to control your cursed energy."

"Is that so?"

Yukinoshita Haruno stretched out her hand, spreading her fingers. Under the bright room light, her slender fingers had a faint, healthy pink hue.

But more eye-catching than her flawless, model-like hand was the swirling blue flame-like cursed energy rising from her palm.

Only then did Hayashizaki realize he had said something dumb.

Haruno could already use her techniques effortlessly—there was no way she wouldn't be able to control her own cursed energy.

He had been too caught up in his past teaching experiences and made an assumption without thinking.

"Speaking of fighting, that gives me an idea," the short-haired girl's eyes lit up as a smirk crept onto her lips, as if a lightbulb had just gone off in her head.

She summoned two copies of herself, pointed at them, and ordered, "You two, start fighting!"

The two clones exchanged looks, then rolled their eyes at her in perfect sync before lazily shoving each other around. Their half-hearted pushing and patting looked even less intense than a schoolyard scuffle between kids. Watching this made the real Yukinoshita Haruno's face darken.

"Well, they do take after their original," Hayashizaki muttered.

Even though middle-school Haruno and university Haruno weren't fundamentally different in personality, their outward behavior had changed a lot. He still needed some time to adjust to the contrast.

The clones might have been slacking off, but once the real Haruno took control of their technique, they had no choice but to fight seriously.

Still, clones were just clones. They were trained by the same master, so neither could break through the other's defense. After watching them exchange Aikido moves for a while, Haruno quickly lost interest.

"Boring."

She deactivated the technique, and the two clones dissolved into shadows before returning to her body.

"Let's go out for a walk."

She poked her cheek with her finger, only to feel her own soft, smooth skin.

"Alright."

A good teacher adapts to their students. As someone far better at teaching than Gojo Satoru, Hayashizaki knew he needed to adjust his approach.

Yukino had her own way of learning, and Haruno had hers.

"Just stay at home this time, okay? I don't want to get scolded by your mom again," Haruno said before handing over control of her body.

"Don't worry, don't worry. I'll just stay in your room, browse the internet, maybe play some games. That won't get me in trouble, right?" Hayashizaki assured her.

"That's good. My mother doesn't just barge into my room for no reason. As long as she doesn't catch me playing games, there won't be any problems."

The short-haired girl felt relieved and let Hayashizaki take control of her body.

A figure slipped out of the window and disappeared into the night, leaving the Yukinoshita residence.

Hayashizaki sat cross-legged on the back of the owl shikigami, expanding his perception to the fullest. He quickly locked onto his target.

A third-grade curse spirit—not strong at all. Just the right opponent for Yukinoshita Haruno's first real battle.

"Hey, now that we're outside, shouldn't you give me my body back? It feels weird not being in control," Yukinoshita Haruno said.

"Just a second, just a second." Hayashizaki steered Nue toward the direction where he sensed the curse spirit.

Seeing the owl shikigami descend, Yukinoshita Haruno immediately figured out what he was planning. She spoke in a sarcastic tone through their mental link.

"Wow, really pulling this move, huh? You truly live up to your 'Demon' title."

He was definitely planning to switch her back just as they reached the curse spirit, forcing her to deal with the monster. Such a cheap trick.

But that was fine—if it came down to it, she could just turn around and run.

If she couldn't beat it, she could at least escape, right?

She let out a quiet huff in her mind, determined not to let Hayashizaki get his way so easily.

Nue carried Hayashizaki to a park, then circled low over the area. He returned control of the body to Yukinoshita Haruno.

The sudden switch surprised her. She raised an eyebrow and asked mockingly, "What's this? Weren't you planning to throw me in front of the curse spirit and force me to fight?"

"Who told you that?" Hayashizaki responded with a knowing tone.

As it got closer to midnight, the park fell into complete silence. Large parks like this usually had homeless people or drunkards spending the night on benches.

From a more secluded area of the park, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed toward them.

"Th-There's a monster!!!"

"Somebody help me!"

"Help!!"

The sharp cries shattered the night's stillness. From atop the owl shikigami, Yukinoshita Haruno instinctively looked down toward the source of the voice.

A man in tattered clothes was running desperately along the park's stone pathway. His long, messy black hair whipped around as he moved, and his unkempt beard trembled with each frantic breath. His face, marked with exhaustion, was twisted in terror.

Chasing behind him was a monstrous figure, over two meters tall. Its sickly yellow-green skin was covered in disgusting tumors. Its head looked like something out of a nightmare, with bulging eyes the size of cowbells and a mouth stretched so wide that saliva dripped freely from the corners.

To the creature, the fleeing man wasn't a person—it was just a meal on legs, like a roasted duck that could run.

As the distance between them shrank, Yukinoshita Haruno's expression darkened.

She had underestimated the devil possessing her.

This wasn't some underhanded scheme. It was an open and unavoidable trap.
