Chapter 142: Creating Plans
The blood pool landscape went away and I came back to the scene from before. Johnny and I were staring each other in the eyes. I broke eye contact first and said, "I have your first command ready."
Johnny got up and said, "What is it?"
"You are going to feed off of and turn all of your henchmen into vampires and you will make them submit to your will. It shouldn't be too hard since they already do what you tell them to do," I said.
"Ok," Johnny went over to his closest henchman and bit into his neck. He began the process of turning them all into vampires. They struggled in confusion, but he was far stronger than them at this point.
With every henchman that he turned, he broke down in tears on the ground and cried for a few minutes. The henchmen saw this happening and tried to run, but Shikasa was too fast for them. She blocked their exit and pushed them back with her immense strength.
[4 hours time reduced before Shikasa is sent back to her divine realm]
Damn it. This universe shit was really going to kick my ass.
"Guys, he's just turning you all into vampires. Don't you want to be stronger and faster than you've ever been? Don't you want to be able to fuck for hours?" I said.
"Huh. That doesn't sound so bad, I guess," Howard said. "Will my dick get bigger?"
"Not from becoming a vampire, but I can make it bigger. And no that is not me hitting on you. I literally have a way to make dicks bigger. That said, I get to control how big. None of you guys get to have a bigger dick than me. But my dick is 10 inches long, so less than that should be more than acceptable for everyone," I said.
All of the men said something along the lines of "Yeah," or "Ok."
"I'm glad that's settled. Now line up so Johnny can turn you all into badass vampires, like me!" I said.
A cheer of "Yeah!" went up among the men and they all lined up.
At first I thought this process was going to take forever, but Johnny started getting faster as he got used to experiencing the men's traumas. All in all, it took about 20 to 30 minutes.
Johnny came up to me afterwards and said, "I didn't realize how much pain and misery I'd caused other people by being an asshole, but now that I do, I will do better. I will be better. I promise it. Now, can we grab me a hot dog before we get to the show?"
"Sure, Johnny. We can do that," I said and laughed.
We piled into vehicles, got Johnny a hot dog, and headed to the show. We barely got there on time. It was a good thing the Theater of Dreams had their own tour bus and had left before us. Otherwise they would've been extremely late.
My mom said to me as we sat down, "I'm proud of you. I think you did the right thing."
"Thanks, mom. I think I did too. Or at least the best I could do considering my options," I said.
We watched the show to be supportive, but I sent a text ahead of time to Harold, to set up the meeting. He said he would get it done. The show was moving and emotional, as it was before.
I was a little rude, and used the time to check my system menu again. I hadn't checked it in what felt like ages. I suspected something might have changed on my Karma tab.
When I checked it, I confirmed my suspicions, the option to make it so Mel wasn't killed, had become a karmic correction option. I liked that it gave me the option, but reversing it felt wrong somehow.
Even without reversing her death, there was a small chance I could still bring her back to life. If I ran the space pirate dungeon again with other people, one of them was bound to get the cure all medicine as a reward.
Then, using the replicator, I could make copies of it and inject it into her. If it really worked like it said it worked, it would restore her to life somehow, despite the fact that she was probably just bones now.
Resurrecting her that way didn't feel wrong. I still would've experienced the loss of her for all these years and Johnny would still have experienced her death memories. I didn't see any downside to it, other than the fact that I'd have to find out how I really felt about her.
I still didn't know if I really did just see her as a friend or if I shut off any possibility of feeling romantic emotions towards her because she was a prostitute. I genuinely didn't know. In my mind, it could've gone either way, and if I didn't bring her back, I would never know.
Besides, I had a harem now. If she truly loved me, she would be ok with the possibility of becoming part of the harem. Also, I feel like her and Victoria would get along well. They're both very sex oriented people.
She might even become a sex vampire like Victoria. Then they'd have something to bond over. Who loses?
If anything, it didn't really matter how I felt about her back then. I knew she was my best friend and that was enough for me to want to save her. If new feelings developed from that friendship now that I was a more mature grown man, what would be wrong with that?
I did need to talk to the system about some of the functionalities for purchase in the system store. What happened to the options that relied on people here, if I left Earth to go fight Lilith in her realm?
[Those options would either go away or remain dormant. Just because I built an aspect of the system, doesn't mean you have to use every one of them]
[I was trying to extrapolate out possible futures for you when I created the system, and you may not know this, but I continue to add things to the system as you get further along in your journey]
[I'm more than happy to remove or edit options that are no longer relevant or usable]
'Nice. I was just afraid I had broken my set path and had done something wrong because the system was built, anticipating that I would go through with construction with foreman Blackhammer.'
[No. The system is here to aid you. Nothing more. It does not predict or determine your success. Only you do that. A lot of the system doesn't even give you powers. It just records and facilitates the processes that would happen for you anyway as an omni-vampire]
[Some aspects are all me, like the Shikasa's Blessings tab, but you contribute a fair amount of the system's capabilities just by being an omni-vampire]
'Thanks for telling me that. I had wondered how much of it was me and how much of it was you for a while.'
[Since I can read your surface thoughts, I will say that you can still use Tommy's Alchemy tab. The fact that you have no natural access to his lab, doesn't prevent me from sending you there]
[However, if you were to travel to another realm, I wouldn't be able to do it anymore, unless you learned how to do it yourself]
'Ok. Good to know. I'll be sure to use the Alchemy tab soon. It would be good to see what he's been up to. And I've been meaning to get the band back together. It would probably help raise awareness in the monster world for the coming invasion if we played a concert down there for that.'
[A concert is an interesting idea. That could work]
'Alright. We got some plans. Now let's watch the rest of this show.'
[Ok]
